By the time you woke up, Ango was already out of bed.

Mission 'Cuddle with Ango first thing in the morning': Failed.

You groaned silently, sitting up and looking around the room groggily, wondering how you ended up alone in that achingly empty bed. It didn't take long before you saw him.

Ango was standing outside, on the balcony, and you pushed yourself out of bed to join him in your pyjama bottoms. He was holding a cigarette in one hand, and he turned his head to look at you as your bare feet padded across the room and closer to him.

"Awake, are you?" He said, taking a fag from the cigarette.

You nodded, still sleepy, and Ango turned around fully, making you trip over your feet.

It wasn't even buttoned up fully, he'd only lazily popped four or five of them in before leaving the rest be. Some of the hickeys that you'd left on him last night were clearly visible against his skin.

Steadying yourself against a wall, you cleared your throat, and went to stand beside him next to the railing.

"So," You started, slightly awkward. You were always awkward in the mornings.

Ango looked at you. "So what?"

"So, well," You shrugged, and slowly your usual casual attitude was coming back to you as the sleep finally left your brain. "How did you like last night?

His cheeks flushed slightly, but when spoke his voice was steady. "It was good."

You smirked. "Well, that I'm sure of. From the way you were reacting, I mean..."

Ango's flush darkened, and he smacked your shoulder, hard. You laughed, shaking your head at his antics.

"You know I wouldn't mind doing this again, right?" You said, turning slightly serious. "It was good for me, too."

He cleared his throat, nodding. "Yeah, okay."

You nodded back, turning to look at the view. It was pretty, the early morning fog barely settling to reveal the sunrise over the horizon. A sense of calm settled between your shoulder blades, and you placed your elbow on the railing to lean forward. Ango continued smoking beside you.

"D'you have work today?" You asked, disrupting the silence that had settled between you two.

"Hmm..." He tilted his head. "Not really, why?"

You straightened up and stepped closer to him, leaning closer in a way that made Ango's breath hitch visibly.

"Wanna go for round three?"
