I think Nido embodies a good chunk of my more serious/realistic side. Suba/Java I think better represents my expressiveness. Nido to Java, Earth to Fire I suppose is a good way to see it metaphorically methinks!

A Hospital Visit

Nido: "So Chloe let spill about how you kept havin to replace the mode board every 2-3 months. Your old arm had a cheapo heatsink and spaghetti wire configuration that begged to fry especially when you use blaster mode. With This model the quality of the connections and the thermal regulation is better but still not adequate. I got some upgrades bookmarked that I can install later once I snag a fair pri-“ Mussa: "Nido." Nido: "Huh?" Mussa: "…How much?" Nido: "…Let’s say… the price of your old arm, flex pay. And I am your primary technician when it comes to repairing your arm. …Friend’s discount.” *gestures $0 with his right hand* “Aaaand maybe some client referrals wouldn’t hurt.” ------ Heyo! Wave Starts in 3... 2...

Ey there! Been a bit, yeah? Well... Here's a lil attempt at figuring out a concept that's been collecting dust in my head for a long while now. Introducing Salmonidified Nido! Or for short... "SalmoNido." I'm kinda strugglin to find a proper nice name for this version. I've thrown around the term "Glowblight" but I don't think that's very clear without context. But yeah! I've been a huge fan of the salmonids from Splatoon 2 and with the recent installment of the third game and its notoriously more difficult Glowfly mode has gotten me in the mood to try makin Nido a lil bit more monstery. I intended to try drawing his transformed body as well, but... for now... All you get is a wild-eyed Nido face with quite the gnarly makeover! Guaranteed not farm-raised. Pray to Grizz that you get a Dynamo Roller all ya want, but I assure you. He jumps. For your enjoyment, here's both Glowflied POV and a mere flat colored head. Goodluck, profreshionals! A pair of very silly images, but big time dumps for me nonetheless! The two pieces dramatically depict the creation and reveal of an infamous homebrew monster in a ongoing DnD campaign that is the culmination of a running joke within our circle of dorks. Big Projects, Little Patience

"Despite being a semi-pro muck warfare player, Nido is a very capable engineer with a penchant for R&D which he made full use of running his personal muck warfare equipment shop "Fulcrum and Anchor." But seems previous projects have brought his talents in view of Ezskar's plans. With Nido's love of R&D and the promise of particularly good pay (or so Ezskar claims he will have) Ezskar has got him under contract and it seems we're seeing inevitable butting of heads. " This piece originally started as a expression doodle of Nido, and it simply grew into a full fledged lil scene. Which seems to be a common thread of how my bigger pieces usually happen. Tried cell shading for the first time ever, I think. It achieves a nice effect! I like it! Either way, I hope ya'll enjoy! Nido the needlix belongs to me. Ezskar and needlix species belong to the late @yark-wark and her Team Prototype universe. This is fanart and is not canon to the Team Prototype universe as dictated by either @yark-wark or @hunterbahamut 's previous fanwriting.

Campbell the Soup Snek!

Say hello to Campbell! He greets with bleps and he likes soup. He practically grew up in the stuff. Long story... *snrrk* But yeah, he belongs to @PictorisAurora. Though this... version(?) arguably is co-owned by @HunterBahamut0. DnD shenanigans essentially. Honestly, this rendition that I'd done makes him look a good bit older/mature than he is in game (he's essentially a child). So let's say this is maybe what he's like when he's grown up a good bit! As for the background and composition, I kinda just did whatever. He seemed happy, and so I just... put more happy things to frame/augment that a lil more. YarkWark fan stuffs

Yesterday was the 2nd anniversary of YarkWark's passing and... it's all been a blur. Things have changed immensely over the past two years since that I could've never imagined. Good and bad. So many of us miss her, and so I'm releasing some stuff that involve a few of her OCs and some of my Team Prototype fan OC stuff as well. Just dumping it all because they'll otherwise be sitting in the binary darkness of my hard drive till it dies. I don't want that. So here's a bunch of unreleased stuff all centered/adjacent to YarkWark's Team Prototype universe that I've drawn the past two years. Both rough and rougher. Hope she and all of ya'll enjoy. If ya have any questions about any of these, feel free to ask away! ----- Some descriptions of the images in order: 1) Barbs is my attempt at making a Solar Glider OC. I wanted to make one who would be the main delivery person for Nido's stuff. With Buzz being the only Solar Glider that Yark had released, I wanted someone to be his opposite. She's a tough, capable, n strong willed ol' lady with a sharp tongue if ya play the fool, haha! 2) Yeah. That's the Megamind meme, but with Barbs. "No shipments?" 3) I've released this on Twitter before, but I'll share it again. Yark's Darigan Bori, "Calander." Neopets is where I first encountered Yark as Armadi way back when she made a few comics for the Neopian Times. She has a special place in my heart. This sketch is modeled after the memory I have of an exit image from one of Yark's custom webpages she made on neopets. 4) A bunch of needlix anatomy practice in which I was trying to get a feel for how I wanted to draw Nido more similarly to how Yark drew her needlixes. So you can see sketch attempts at Kolt, Wart, Milkzee, Tala, and Kaz. 5-6) I had the silly idea that Nido's resting grump face would one day get him in trouble so this is an abandoned attempt at trying to make a silly comic strip how it might go down. While making the strip I got the extra silly notion that just Nido's luck, Trask happens to be in the area and intercepts. An even sillier idea came to me that maybe Trask would further exacerbate the situation with his own scary face, but I never got that far, hahahaha..... 7) Started making a fan Razorwing OC based on blue jay aesthetic as an incognito gift. 8) An attempt of trying to draw a scene of Nido passing to the unidentified Razorwing . I have learned I am terrible with cars as many artists have found out. 9) I love Ziggs. One of my favorite characters and one of my mains when I still played LoL. Tinks sure feels like he has a loooot in common with Ziggs and I feel that a certain meme image needed to be sketched out, haha! There needs to be more Tinks fanart! 10) This sketch practice was done in tandem with the silly comic above when I tried adding Trask in. Needed to get the facial proportions and shape jussst right! I am actually quite proud of that sketch on the right! 11) Volrex is forever the pessimistic, morose Razorwing and… just once… I wanted to see how he'd look if something ignited a lil light within him. Even for a moment.

Couch Exploration with Nido

So recently, we've gotten a couch in our household after 2 years of not having one. And seeing how everyone occupies a couch differently sorta served as inspiration to do some practice. So this serves mostly as some posework and some light clothing/object work! And boy... making everything believable with Nido's stocky needlix anatomy posed interesting issues. Putting a tank top on that lounging phone one really made my noggin mad trying to account for wrappin over a thick tail and haunchy thighs. But either way... I hope ya enjoy my practice! It's good to see something a lil relatable with him here! If ya'll got any thoughts about the pieces above, I absolutely would love to read em! Critique and comments!

Nido is known moreso for havin a grumpy resting scowl typically, but there are rare, rare instances when that tough guy look breaks. And wouldn't ya know it, those damned ears do NOT help in feigning composure. I wonder what's got'm dehydrating this quickly.

Started this sketch a couple of weeks ago when my mood was at a rare low. So it's a semi-vent sorta thing. Don't worry, I'm well. Nido's fine too. Thought I'd put this up anyway since I do like this sketch. The scenery came in as an after thought as you can see with how the tail is just floating in the air. It's rare to see Nido with his headset off, let alone seeing the headset in any angle that really shows the shape of the headset's frame. I guess that's all I really have to say... Ya'll take care. Seriously!

"Hm hm hmm! Dudu dum-daah! Dun dun dun...-!" For as grounded as Nido is in personality and lack of wardrobe, he's certainly got some moves! Just look at'm go! Eyes closed. Stompin, Slidin, Swingin hard. The guy knows how to throw his weight around! It's just that no one really knows that (except you and I, shhhhh). He only ever grooves this hard when he's sure no one is watching. He'd probably die of embarrassment if anyone ever knew. Do ya'll ever get lost in a jam this hard? What track/genre makes ya lose control? --- The poses were excerpts from a dynamic pose sketch practice page then turned full on colored mini-dance sequence. I am unsure how to feel about my placement and spacing here as well as my giant welt of a "signature" here but I digress. I am most proud of the poses anyway and I hope ya'll enjoy this! I wish I could share a timelapse with ya'll, but apparently updating my CSP recently turned the feature off as I was making this piece. >> Also thanks to HuBa for giving me feedback on desaturating the background a smidge and adding extra white outlining to help pop Nido outta the busy background. Been awhile. Felt like doodling tonight and in a change of pace I tried sketchin with pencil tool on raster layer. Made a rather intense lookin Nido sittin comfy with his tail deployed in comfy chair tripod mode. He looks a lil miffed. Bad cuppa joe I s'pose!
