Sweets & Aromas Islands:

400 miles southeast off the coast of Sugar Rush, the Sweets & Aromas Islands consists of 16 islands, each named after a racer or dessert or candy. Its inhabitants are us creators, believe it or not.

History:

These islands are originally colonised by King Candy, named the Speed & Rusher Islands by the man himself. However, since that, he basically forgot about the existence of these islands, until President Vanellope saw these islands once again. She gave them freedom to choose whether or not to remain an overseas territory or be independent. However, since the islands are so far away from the mainland, the creators unanimously agreed to remain an overseas territory. They renamed the islands and got a flag of their own (which I will draw in the future), and since then, they live in peace.

Jubileena: *speaks aloud* Huh, I forgot we even had these oversea territories...

*Jubileena isn't alone though, as Lucas sits by her on her couch, crocheting a duck plushie*

Lucas: *he perks up* Sugar Rush has oversea territories?

Jubileena: Yeah, we did! Of course, we didn't exactly hear of it until after King Candy announced his discovery of them, but- *she then notices Lucas giving her a look* -Oh, right. I keep forgetting you.. weren't around for King Candy's reign....

Lucas: *he continues his crochet* It's ok, mi fruta. Although I would have liked it if the developers put so much work into my scraped town like they did these distant islands...

Citrusella: *she walks down from the hall, blowing bubbles as she chews her gum. She speaks between chews* Well- whatever the case- it's cool to hear they have been holdin' up well. *She plops herself on an armchair, popping a loud bubble. Lucas and Jubileena flinched in response* Now, are we gonna keep talking about politics, or are we gonna watch a movie?

Jubileena: Right, right! *She placed her paper on the end table, and she picks up the remote.*

*The three spend the rest of the time debating viewing options*

Disneybounded as my Sugar Rush OC Bittoria Basquemada on the Disney Dream, and of course Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats! 🍭 (and also, reluctant face reveal for those haven’t seen the initial OC cosplay posts 😭)

(note: I booked my trip in April before the Disney boycott. Don’t worry I hate Disney for supporting the wrong people as much as the next person but by the time the news got out it was too late to cancel my trip.)

I went as both her etiquette consultant form and programmed villain form—and the employees loved it! Fittingly enough, they were perhaps the sweetest workers on the ship~ 🍬

This is from last November and I had a blast; one of my fondest memories of 2023 as I’ve been wanting to come here since late 2022 ;w; I didn’t think I’d fulfill the dream so soon (no pun intended)

I’ve tried this before but it didn’t work so I’ll try it again now

Bonnet Bitterlove, the Valentine’s Day exclusive. This racer appears in our sugary game when it’s the dear day of love. She tries to spread as much love as she can towards everyone, hoping to make it a pleasant day for all. Though be careful when she’s on the track, she’s not as sweet as she appears

Bonnet shares the same mechanic as my Saint Patrick’s Day racer, Shamrock Clov-Luck, which is rather than being a racer you race as, she’s a racer you must race against. Bonnet doesn’t have a power-up, as she’s has a slightly smarter ai, being able to stay ahead of the racer/player as if she knows their every move and trick. She is beatable though by allowing other racers to stick next to you. The more racers around, the harder it is to prevent one of them getting a place ahead of her

Bonnet is still in the works as I wanna come to a final idea for her

"Hello, darlings!~ It's good to be back for another Valentine's Day!~ Ha-ha!~ Oh, I can just feel all the love in this kingdom! But don't fret if you don't have a valentine; that's what I am here for~ Now, let's get to work, shall we?~"

Oh my! It is Valentine's Day, and that means Melton Citron is in the kingdom!~ In honor of the holiday, I FINALLY DIGITIZED HIM!!!

Melton Citron, the Valentine's Day exclusive racer, has been here since the first year the game has been plugged in. However, he is only supposed to be here for that week; once the holiday is over and he goes back to the hub, he isn't coming back until next Valentine's Day (or unless he follows another holiday exclusive out). He is based on chocolate-dipped oranges and orange chocolate mousse~

When the developers designed the Valentine's Day racer, they just KNEW they had to be based off a singer; they cycled through various concepts and sketches, then they finally settled on basing their cupid off of Elton John himself! Although, despite being based off of Elton, Melton dreads constantly being compared to his predecessor, and feels like a fraud since he lacks his own creative talent. It's part of why he gravitates to wanting to be idolized by his peers; which led to him being one of the four exclusives that actually sided with King Candy during his reign.

Bittoria Basquemada: The Bitter in Bittersweet

Bittoria Basquemada and her intellect position her as King Candy’s royal etiquette consultant, cleverly ensuring the glitch stays off the tracks. However, the codes cannot hide the truth for long, and Bittoria sets out to discover just who exactly this glitch is.

WOO,,, it’s done. It’s finally done—Bittoria’s form that you would see for most of the original WIR movie’s runtime until it’s revealed at the end that she was the programmed villain of Sugar Rush, along with Vanellope reclaiming her code as the princess main character. I explained a little bit of her lore in the post of her bad guy form from a few months ago and I really don’t feel like explaining it again so go there if you wanna learn a little bit on how this woman ended up as a consultant while Vanellope ended up as a glitch~

Dropping in some holiday exclusive racers! From the far left to the far right, they are:

• Kitty Webcake, the Halloween racer. She's a mischievous girl, and very reckless, to the point of getting herself in trouble quite often. She loves pranks, cat related puns, and anything spooky. Her theme is Halloween cupcakes.

• Yulia Tsuki, the Christmas racer. She's quiet, peaceful, and caring of others, though she is stubborn and quite forgetful. She loves winter, getting cozy by the fireplace, and bringing joy to others. Her theme is a Yule log.

• Haato Cherrydip, the Valentine's Day racer. He's charming, lovey-dovey, and charismatic like an idol. He's all about love and bringing couples together, though he himself is a cheesy flirt. His theme is chocolate dipped cherries.

• Meggy Peeps, the Easter racer. She's a happy-go-lucky bunny girl with a goal of making everyone happy, and she won't let anyone stop her. She always makes sure to leave surprises for everyone. Her theme is a marshmallow bunny.

These are the 4 holiday racers I've created... But I'm not done yet! There's one more holiday exclusive character!

Grandpa Ice!

*ahem*

The Santa Claus of Sugar Rush, Champaul Ice (but everyone just calls him Grandpa Ice). He's a jolly old man that takes on the role of Santa Claus, even though he's actually more like Ded Moroz (Дед мороз). His theme is champagne, the drink of choice for New Year.

Unlike the holiday racers, Grandpa Ice is limited to his appearances in Sugar Rush. Due to this, it's been assumed that he's like a spirit of sorts, physically appearing around the time of New Year, about from late December to early January. He brings good fortune to those on the good list. As for those on the naughty list...he gives them a freezing cold bonk in the head with his staff, which results in a massive brain freeze, and because of this, a warning got spread out that if they misbehave or if they're being naughty, Grandpa Ice will come "freeze their head".
