The style of the main stories in Live Emotion reminds me a lot of the original visual novels that inspired the UtaPri franchise as a whole. This is one of the first times we've gotten to see HE★VENS in this format, and it's got me wondering:

By "secret," I mean information that we haven't officially gotten yet, similar to the impressively dramatic backstories you unlock in the VNs by having Haruka date each character.

Tin Woodman: The Emerald City is as beautiful as its name suggests…

The Lion rubs his eyes.

Lion: It's so shiny, it's too bright for me to open my eyes.

Tin Woodman: But how do we get into the city? It's surrounded by a tall wall, and it seems we can't enter freely.

The Lion pounds on the gate with all his might.

Lion: The gate is also firmly shut.

The Scarecrow points his finger and presses the button without hesitation.

Scarecrow: There’s a doorbell here! If you have business here, you must ring it! Let’s push it~!

Gatekeeper: If you offend him, he may destroy you all in an instant. Knowing that, do you wish to proceed?

Theo: Mister gatekeeper, please! Oz-san is a good Wizard, isn't he? If so, I think he will listen to us.

Tin Woodman: Yes, we have come here seeking aid. For a great one should reach out to the weak and those in need.

Gatekeeper: … That’s certainly true. The Great Oz is a good wizard. Well then, let me take you to his palace.

The Scarecrow jumps for joy.

Scarecrow: Yeah! Now we’re talking!!

The Gatekeeper unlocks the door to the cabinet containing the spectacles.

Gatekeeper: But first, I'm going to ask you to wear these glasses.

Lion: Why? Wow… The spectacles are green, too…

Gatekeeper: It’s an order from the Great Oz. You cannot enter the city without spectacles. That’s because the brightness of the Emerald City will make your eyes go haywire.

The Scarecrow taps his own eyes.

Scarecrow: My eyes are painted on, so I think I’ll be fine.

Tin Woodman: I have tin eyes too, so that shouldn't be a problem…

He curtly hands over the spectacles.

Gatekeeper: It's been a rule since the city was first built! Even those who live in the city must wear spectacles night and day. It is not allowed to take them off. Once you put them on, they’ll be locked on.

Lion: What an inconvenient rule… But I guess that's just how it is in the city.

The Gatekeeper has the five of them put on the glasses and then locks them fast with his key.

Gatekeeper: With that, we’re ready to go! Now, let me show you to the palace.

The door opens with a heavy sound. The five shout in admiration.

Theo: … Wow…

Terry: … Wow…

Scarecrow: … Wow…

Tin Woodman: … Wow…

Lion: … Wow…

Tin Woodman: It was amazing from the outside, but it's even more amazing inside! Even though I'm wearing glasses, it's so bright.

With an excited gait, they begin to walk as if being lured.

Scarecrow: Emerald everywhere! The streets, the houses, the people, the food, even the sunlight is green!

The Lion laughs, holding his stomach.

Lion: Ahaha!! You’re green, too!

The Scarecrow jumps up in surprise.

Scarecrow: It’s true!! So I've turned into emerald instead of straw? But isn’t that so cool? I’m the only scarecrow in the world that shines in emerald green!

The Tin Woodman also strokes his tin body.

Tin Woodman: Maybe I've been influenced by the power of this city. It's magic that can turn simple tin into emerald!

Theo: Yeah! What a wonderful world! I can't believe there's a place like this! The people who live here are rich and full of happiness!

Terry: … It's certainly a beautiful place, but it feels artificial, and they're a bit too busy working, aren't they?

Theo: You said it's better to be stimulated than bored, didn't you?

Terry: Yeah, that’s true, but… This place is nothing like Kansas.
