I always figured Lego Monkie Kid season 5 would be an emotional gut punch, BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN I WAS PREPARED!!!! Needless to say, months later, I am still not okay. 🙈

So how do I recover? By drawing a copious quantity of funny doodles until the next season comes out. Maybe that’s why they call it “copious”…it’s helping me cope, haha!

It's a team project! Alright so since we're going the stone egg path I thought it was a nice thing that everyone would help a little to the creation of the stone itself. This doesn't mean the kid will look like them, just that we needed the 5 elements energies and we have them here to replicate how the egg was BEFORE it gained a consciousness.

He loves mk so much to the point that he would rather feel physical pain then lose him

Also the fact that he never cried from the physical pain he only cried when he thought he lost mk and when he was relieved that mk was alive

Edit for anyone wondering: the initial idea for this wasn’t a situation where wukong raised xiaotian, its more like some villain had some kind of ability to rewind time on ppl and they did it kinda mid-air for mk and wukong got really panicked and had to catch him quickly

Maybe this was a little inspired by the new tbhk episodes who knows..
