Hey everyone,I have a software company that is rapidly growing. Up until now, we have been using our cell phones and one landline to handle everything. We have reached the point though where we need something a little more substantial. I have never dealt with phones or phone systems before (am millennial) so if I don't have the lingo right please forgive me. I tried to include some examples to clarify though.My requirements:Call routing ex: press 1 for sales, press 2 for support, 3 for operatorVoicemail for sales and supportCall transfers ex: please hold while I connect you to the right personAbility to have a desk phone handset (it would be nice if it would work with my NEC DT300 phones)Mobile app so that if no one answers we will get the call on our phone (nice to have - we would be able to tell if the call was a work call or a personal call before answering)Ability to add more departments and lines down the roadNot insanely expensiveNice-to-have: ability to call from local numbers if neededI have some hardware from the people that were in the office before us:NEC SV8100 or SV8300 - phone systemandNEC DT300 Series - phoneI have not been able to set this phone system up though and the documentation online is very scarce.Can anyone point me in the right direction with a new system or getting the NEC system working? Role: Software Support Representative/ Technical support Location: Rancho Cordova, CA Duration: 12 Months Must have: Heavy Calling OR call center environment required Job Description: · General supervision, analyze, reproduce, trouble-shoot, and resolve issues related to specific and general functionality of OfficeMate software and its associated third-party integrations by working with management, development, quality assurance, and acquired in-depth knowledge of the OfficeMate products. · Receives, tracks, responds and resolves OfficeMate Customer Care calls. · Provides training and support for simple to complex technical issues related to OfficeMate and OfficeMate Enterprise software. · Identifies technical issues through problem duplication and manipulation of customer data to provide details to the OfficeMate development team for product correction and improvement. · Utilizes multiple hardware and software tools to troubleshoot a variety of issues. · Documents and/or logs all calls, records all activity and communications regarding incidents and problems. · Maintains all defined service standards. · Follows support processes and assists in the development of support procedures and documentation to provide consistent and reliable support and excellent customer service. · Performs other related duties including projects, support, training and communication activities as assigned by management. · Maintains current knowledge of the OfficeMate software and the optical industry as it is trained and learned in the call center environment. skills or abilities: · Two to four years of technical support or equivalent experience · Two to four years of experience in a customer service environment · Must possess a working knowledge of PCs, related hardware and peripherals · Excellent written and verbal communication skills to write, document and explain technical issues · Excellent analytical interpersonal, time management and problem solving skills required Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, and learn new procedures and systems quickly · Must be able to function in a workgroup, team-oriented environment · A basic understanding of networking concepts Reference : Technical Support/Call center Representative jobs source http://jobsaggregation.com/jobs/technology/technical-supportcall-center-representative_i827
