Breathtaking stop-motion animation

It's 100% mexican, and Mexican animation needs all the support it can get

It's a horror story anthology

It's so short (5 episodes, 10 min each) that you could watch it in less than an hour.

At this point I am beginning to think stop-motion and horror go hand in hand

There's a lot of Mexican culture but you definitely don't need to be mexican to enjoy it

The voice acting is absolutely flawless

The songs are beautiful

The characters are lovable

Have you LOOKED at the character design

The premise is about a ghost writer and her loyal talking book, who are trapped inside a haunted house. Throughout the episodes, we are given hints on how they came to be trapped there.

Also the love story between the protagonists is so charming and sweet

If you like Laika or Tim Burton's films, this is for you

It was made for Halloween but it's perfectly enjoyable all year round

The color schemes are beautiful in every single frame

Probably not about the show itself but so many people in the fandom are so talented, I'm honestly amazed by it

And yes, the fandom theories are as wonderful as the show itself

No but really, the SONGS

It's really scary while also being for children (albeit over 10 years old)

The more people watch it, the more likely it is that we get a second season
