Okay, so technically I said I was only accepting requests from this prompt list for Lew characters, but this one works so perfectly for Gallus and Sabina, and I love them so much, so I couldn’t pass it up! So we’ll call this a little SVAA drabble!

“Please, Sabina,” Gallus begged, his voice a pained rasp against your ear as he tenderly cupped your face in his massive, calloused palms. It still amazed you how gentle those hands of his could be when he was holding you. “Please, tell me why you’re upset. Tell me who did this.”

He knew. Deep down in his bones, he knew who had done this, who had left the angry welt across your cheekbone and caused fresh tears to stain your skin. He knew, and he could do nothing about it. And that gutted him more than any opponent in the arena ever could.

“Gallus, please, don’t make me say it,” you whispered brokenly, a dry sob tearing from your throat. You were ashamed. Humiliated. Disgusted with yourself. He risked life and limb every day to come back to you, and you couldn’t even keep yourself safe from your domina for him.

“Sh, sh, don’t cry, little dove,” he murmured soothingly, allowing you to cry into his chest as he pressed soft kisses to the top of your head. “You don’t have to say anything else. Just let me take care of you.”

His warm breath stirred your cheek as you slowly lifted your head to look at him. His thumb was so impossibly careful and gentle as he stroked your cheek, silently assessing the damage. He’d been learning from the way you took care of him.

“Will you just love me?” you asked quietly, wrapping your arms around his broad, powerful shoulders.

Gallus took you into his strong arms and laid you down on his bed, hovering above you as he pressed a kiss to your wounded cheek, then your forehead, your chin, your lips.

“Forever,” he promised.

If you only could write one pairing for the rest of your life, which pairing would it be?

ohhh man i’m DEEP in burakhovsky hell right now but the only answer is charlie/meyer (from boardwalk empire, for my newer followers :P). they are the otp of otps now and forever

Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

the latter, for sure. i wouldn’t say “scenes” so much, because SVAA is the only chaptered fic i’ve written so far, but even sequential oneshots like daemon au, iirc i wrote parts of “highest fall” before i STARTED “age with grace”. even with the single-scene one-shots i usually write, nine times out of ten i start with a snippet of dialogue or a descriptive line that lands somewhere in the middle and fill in the rest of the fic around it

Dahling I feel bad I haven't been by in forever and a day, but I've been thinking alot about the Ancient Rome AU you did for the Daggers and it's just uuuuugh.....so perfect!!! (lol).

I did watch a documentary a few nights back about life in Rome and all I could think about was being a young lady from one of the Celtic tribes, maybe from Gaul or Briton (your pick) and being married to our dearest Bobby (Hrorbert) who treats his lovely wifey like the fucking queen she is (lol).

To say nothing of the fact that sneaking around in the bathhouse must be fun!!! Wifey rubbing him down with all those oils from Egypt and the Middle East that smell soooooo friggin good, listening to him moan as she walks on his back.

"Oooh right there sweetheart.......uuuugh feels so fuckin good"

The two of them being immersed in that steamy water and thoroughly fucking each other?? SIGN ME THE FUCK UP!!!!

Although it'd be hysterically funny if Gallus, Sabina, Carnifex and Phoenix walked in at the most inconvenient time (lol).

Oh but him taking the time to learn the language of wifey's tribe too?? He definitely uses that to his advantage. Not sure if it'd be an idea, but (keeping with Independence Day thoughts of Pullman The Elder), maybe Bob's dad is a really high ranking senator who is the only one allowed to put the pretentious elite in place as well?? Pretty sure he's threatened a few little tapeworms here and there with castration if they ever laid a hand on his son and daughter-in-law.

My dear friend, I'm sorry it's been so long since I've popped in, I'm still in school and trying to look for a new teaching job is eating me alive!!!! This has been sitting in the back of my head for a while now, but if you ever wanna pop in and talk about this, I'm totally down for it (lol).

That last chapter is so good I cried with phoenix at the end like wow slavery is undoubtedly one of the worst things that could ever happen to a human!! We take our freedom for granted nowadays but I can’t imagine being in her place or Sabina’s or Carnifex or Gallus, I mean you can’t even love the person you love 💔 all your actions must serve a purpose towards your captors and you have to be obedient to those very people just so they could spare your life but they could treat you like shit day in and day out!! like they’re all so brave for putting up with it and I wanna give them all a hug 😭 also you are incredible you write so beautifully and I really enjoyed all of it but this last chapter touched my heart something fierce and I hope you are very proud.
