so, what WAS the worst/pettiest discourse you have seen/been in?

There were...a lot of discourse I've seen and been in. Ranging from petty ship wars to people leading harassment campaigns against certain people, to people getting mad over something harmless...I could go on.

But if I had to pick the worst one for me personally, it would be what happened starfan18 during my svtfoe days.

For context, they were a semi-popular artist who drew fanart for svtfoe. Mainly regarding Tomstar, even to making a shipkid and AU for the ship. However, a popular st//arco artist named gravityfying mocked, harassed, and accused her of ripping off her AU. And other st//arco shippers followed suit, mostly because of course they can't handle any ship that isn't their own. It got so bad that it lead to starfan permanently deactivate her account.The worst part was that starfan admired grav and this is what she got in returned.

It was the moment that put the final nail in the coffin for st//arco shippers for me. They were the reason I ended up hating the ship before the show ruined it even further, and this was the last straw that made me hate them even more.

Yeah, I know not all are bad, but at this point, the well is already poisoned. That was the worst moment in the svtfoe fandom and it cemented it as the worst fandom I've been in.

Well...before the Miraculous Ladybug fandom took that crown...

Ok, so I had an idea to create a picture of a bunch of different Svtfoe shipkids!

Basically, just download this transparent png and draw your shipkid on it. Then reblog with your drawing (make sure it’s transparent) and tag some other artists to draw theirs - all ships are welcome! I’ve tagged some awesome artists that I follow but none of you have to participate if you don’t want to. You can also join in if you haven’t been tagged. I’m aiming for it to look like this but by lots of different artists and with different ships. (I’ve started by drawing my Starco kids)

Uuuugh I can finally post this!

Here’s a colour and outfit reference for my svtfoe shipkids: Maya and Jake (Starco, top) and Ben and Ashley (Tomckie, bottom). I also did different colour shading for each one.

Hopefully now I’ll post more art of them although we both know I’m lying

Svtfoe shipkids (Zodiac themed): Isa Isa is from a Star Squad/Quadrett AU. She sees Wander and Steven as uncle's. But barely sees Uncle Dipper,Uncle Hater and Auntie Connie since her mom's and Wander and Steven always travel to help out people in the multiverse.
