i’m emotional!!! because we’ve come so far!!! i remember opening my phone to a palm tree picture, i remember telling my friends about the countdown theory even though they didn’t care, i remember waiting for the “next chapter”, i remember the countdown, i remember how incredibly crazy we were those 13 days before, i remember watching a livestream at lunch of the butterfly mural, i remember seeing pictures in class and almost crying, i remember hearing ME! for the first time and sobbing my eyes out because she was so happy, i remember staying up for the music video on facetime with my best friends, i remember sitting in the dentist’s office watching her livestream and trying not to scream, i remember all of the adorable posts on my dash about lover, i remember hearing you need to calm down for the first time and then watching the music video, i remember us all staying at taylor’s side through the worst of it, i remember getting my merch, i remember taylor dropping the archer during a livestream in the middle of the day, i remember crying harder than ever, i remember taylor going to award shows and concerts and events and dropping easter eggs everywhere she went, and i remember seeing some of my best friends get back from taylor’s house and post “I JSUT MET TAYLUR SWFFT”, i remember the exhilaration, i remember hearing lover for the first time and realizing it’s my favorite song ever, and now we’re there. we’re at the final destination. it’s here. everything we’ve been waiting for, for 7 months.

idk what the problem is with halsey crying w her fans?? like i can name at least  FIVE different artists off the top of my head that have made people cry & wouldnt react. i think it’s completely beautiful and amazing that halsey is so willing to give so much of herself to us when she doesnt owe us shit, especially bc people treat her like this for things that are beyond her control (ie having a MOOD DISORDER) that if like....so many other artists did ya’ll would be praising them for? honestly let halsey fuckin live sometimes man like im not saying shes perfect but holy shit

hahaha im very harsh on this song for no particular reason it really isnt that bad, i just exaggerate. theres just something about it i cant really get into but i can still bop to it a little here and there
