This week was my third time back at the #gym after having to take some time off because my swollen. I can only do #upperbody #workouts. Had my every first CT scan today! Still dont have an answer just yet of what I did to my knee 2 weeks ago. Yes I still go to the gym no I dont do any lower body work outs or cardio 😥. So today they injected a dye into my knee thats why is all swollen it should be back to normal by tomorrow!! Home remedies for swollen knees after playing basketball

Whadd’up folks? What have you been doing this fine Tuesday afternoon? Finally I got the chance to play Red Dead Redemption 2 since the last weekend and man I gotta say this!!!! This game is fuckin’ awesome, it’s a masterpiece!! Technicalities, storytelling, GAMEPLAY, over all it is excellent I would rate it 10! I’ll be posting some more reviews in detail about this awesome, awesome game on another blog post as soon as I finish it.

Okay enough said, does anyone know some home remedies for swollen knees? I played basketball with my neighbour and luckily while I was doing a jump shot, I lost balance on my other foot and fall off my knees. Now my knees are swollen but I can still walk. I looks bad though that my mom freaked out when my neighbour walked me home (lol). How do I reduce inflammation in my knee aside from doing hot and cold compresses? And, what do you do when your knee is swollen? Any anti-inflammatory drug or medication or natural home remedies that you can recommend is much appreciated. I’m thinking of taking naproxen or ibuprofen because it might help with the pain and swelling but I’m really worried about the side effects of this medications. I should have worn my knee guards when I played basketball man, I can’t sleep right now. I have the same experience from a basketball game before but that one is much worse because that time I can’t even walk properly because I can’t straighten nor bend my knee. That knee injury is so bad it build up fluids on my knee (can you imagine having excess fluid on your knees!?) and I needed to see a doctor that time so it can be properly treated.

My mom used the RICE (Rest Ice Compression Elevation) method on my knee and it somehow helped reduce the swelling. It’s actually a first aid method when you get sprains or strains on your legs. Aside from that, my mom also made me my famous nana’s turmeric tea and it relaxes me somehow.

I think I would just play NBA 2k19 on PS4. What do you think, folks?

I'm really not good at staying away from the gym. I AM listening to my Doctor's orders though. No squats or deadlifts OR DANCING for at least a week TT___TT When I heard that I thought "Well I might as well just crawl into a hole and die then." I went through the 5 stages about it lol. Mainly anger and then begrudging acceptance >:C. I made friends with another dancer at the gym today. She's a retired hip hop dancer :D. I encouraged her to dance like no one is watching because anybody who is watching isn't chasing their own gains hard enough :P. Remember to do things that make you happy. Even if people think you're weird or strange for it lol.
