DMITRY SOKOLOV

Name/nicknames: Dmitry Sokolov, Davyd Poplov (real name), Dimi, Mitry, Dim Tree Age + birthday: 22, February 15th Gender + pronouns: Tentatively bigender, hesitantly both man and woman aligned. Pronouns are strictly it/it’s Powers: Absolute Command. Dmitry can use its voice in such a way so as to command another person to literally carry out what it tells it to do, the downside to this being that afterwards Dmitry will soon slip into a two-day coma. Alignment: Villain Bio/Backstory (Include power origins if possible):

Born Davyd Poplov, Dmitry is abandoned by its birth mother and raised in an overcrowded abusive foster home in Siberia. Learning tricks from the older kids around it, Dmitry becomes a natural pick pocket and eventually learns how to do more complicated cons.

Although extremely intelligent, Dmitry’s poor health and Marfans syndrome make life difficult for it.

One day, when its older foster brother gets into an argument with their dad, Dmitry accidentally commands its sibling to kill him.

Luckily, the true murderer is never revealed, and the investigation brings light to the poor conditions of the foster home, splintering the children off to new homes. This is how Davyd becomes adopted by a much older, strict woman. It picks up her last name of Sokolov.

The two find themselves moving to America when Davyd’s of High School age, and is sent to East Side. Davyd decides to start going by Dmitry at this point, to represent its change. Dmitry, being naturally very intelligent, excels in school, but turns down any offers for college.

Dmitry continues its conning ways throughout High School and afterwards, using this to help fund its gambling debt. It marries young, and helps run a used car dealership, but debt and other problems plague the marriage leading to divorce.

The car dealership is disbanded, and Dmitry is back to relying on its scams until the rise of metahuman related crimes give it the idea to pick up a law degree online, and pass the bar exam. Now using its job as a lawyer to persecute metahumans under the crimes they’ve committed using their powers.
