I’m getting back into writing, so have a Hotch/Reid snippet!
can… can i have a hug? please?
And a little bit of
oh, sweetheart- come here.
With a dash of
how long has it been since someone hugged you?
Type: Angsty Fluff
Warnings: Kinda just sad, brief mention of drugs
Spencer was very obviously the most touch starved of the group. It wasn’t to no fault of his, not really. It was clear he didn’t prefer physical contact most of the time, but Aaron wasn’t stupid. Aaron knew that despite Spencer’s sensory issues and mild germaphobic tendencies, he really just wanted to be hugged sometimes.
It was more obvious after some cases, when his arms wrapped around himself as he sat alone on the back of the plane, curled up as staring out of the window rather than reading whatever book he’d already read 7 or 8 times that week. It was only Wednesday after all.
It was less obvious after others, the itch of his hands as he read, how they’d twitch before he’d read a page. Aaron noticed, but he wasn’t sure that the others did, too careful of Spencer sensory. And Spencer clearly didn’t want to add more fuel to the fire of his own mind by his need of physical contact. But, Aaron wasn’t stupid. He was a profiler for a reason. But he wasn’t just going to jump down Spencer’s throat like that, putting him on the spot would be unhelpful and most likely backfire.
So, Aaron watched more intentionally. Trying to give an obvious sign to Spencer that he was here for him, should Spencer need him. It took a while, longer than Aaron liked to admit, but finally Spencer came into his office after hours.
The case had been a bad one. Having to deal with not only children, but Spencer was taken as a hostage and belittled so bad that Aaron was on the verge of shooting the man just to make him shut the hell up for good. Of course he couldn’t, that would risk his job, and more importantly Spencer’s life, but the thought definitely crossed his mind.
“Do you mind if I sit?” Spencer asked softly, and Aaron nodded slowly.
“Stay as long as you need,” he said gently, trying not to use that boss tone he knew he had. Spencer nodded, noting the attempt, and sat on the couch, curled up with his arms around himself once again, staring at the wall.
Aaron worked in silence, not going to push or pry answers out of the younger. He knew Spencer was struggling, and he had a terrible reputation when it came to asking for help. But Aaron hoped he was slowly working through that.
“You don’t believe him, do you?” Spencer whispered, finally. “You don’t… you don’t see me as a… drugged up, ratty—“
“No, Spencer,” Aaron cut him off, not allowing Spencer to repeat the words of the UnSub. “I don’t see you like that. No one does.”
“I do,” Spencer whispered, “I feel like that, sometimes. Sometimes I wonder if everything’s worth it.”
“It’s all worth it,” Aaron whispered.
“You would say that,” Spencer whispered, and Aaron set his pen down.
“Meaning?” Aaron asked without trying to sound offended or offput.
“Meaning you see me,” Spencer explained. “You see the man I’m trying to be. You… you understand… who I am in a way that most other’s can’t.”
“I’m perceptive,” Aaron reasoned.
“Yes,” Spencer agreed. “But you also care.”
“This team cares about you,” Aaron reasoned.
“They do,” Spencer nodded. “But they care so much about one thing, something you’ve been… overlooking lately.”
Aaron blinked.
“You’ve been staring at me, after cases. Reading me. I see your eyes. I feel them.”
“If I’ve made you uncomfortable, that wasn’t my intention,” Aaron promised.
“No, I know,” Spencer promised. “I just…” he inhaled slowly, his arms falling from where they were wrapped around him. “Can I have… have a hug? Please?”
Aaron exhaled slowly from where he sat, finally hearing the words come from Spencer’s mouth almost made him jump out of his chair. He still moved a bit too quick, but Spencer didn’t seem to mind or care as he quickly got off the couch, hearing Aaron’s gentle “oh sweetheart, come here,” and met Aaron halfway, wrapping his arms around Aaron’s shoulders, and Aaron’s arms around his waist.
Spencer almost broke right there. But Aaron held him up strong, as per usual. He kept his hold for as long as Spencer needed, or wanted, which was longer than he originally calculated.
“When was the last time someone hugged you?” Aaron whispered into his ear.
“Too long,” Spencer whispered, voice broken and scraggly as he pushed his nose into Aaron’s shoulder.
“Don’t let it ever be that long again,” Aaron whispered.
“I’m here, Spence. I’m right here.”

If you’re still taking prompt requests, can I ask for 23 with hotchreid? <3 🥰
Of course! I’m so happy to fill request while I write my next part for my alphabet series, gives me a little motivation! Request as much as you’d like!
Ship: Hotch/Reid, Heid
Prompt: "I'm... lightheaded..."
Type: Fluff
Warnings: Nothing really, just a headache as expected
I made Hotch the Vulnerable one, I couldn’t help it.
Enjoy under the cut!
Aaron sighed as he sat his bags down. Thankfully they’d finished the case just in time, as tended to happen with them it seemed. Due to inclement weather, they weren’t able to fly out until morning, which the team seemed fine with taking an extra night to sleep and relax. David and Derek had a room, JJ and Emily, leaving Spencer with Aaron. The men would rotate rooms occasionally, but for the most part this is how it ended up, mainly because Aaron stayed up late and Spencer was the least to complain about it (meaning he never did).
Spencer noted the exhaustion as Aaron seemed to collapse into a seated position on his bed. He was worried, but he tried not thinking about it too harshly. This case hadn’t been easy for any of them, least of all Hotch since he helf such a high standard for himself that the rest of the team never truly understood. He took such a pride in himself, but he never really reflected it to the rest of them unless he had to, to get the team kicked more into action than they already would be.
Still, it worried Spencer just how out of it his boss seemed. He couldn’t hold his tongue very long as Aaron held his temples with one hand, covering his eyes. Spencer shut off the overhead lights and decided to stick with the lamps in order to try and help.
“Are you alright?” Spencer asked, not wanting to pry, but at the same time, he wanted answers.
“I’m fine,” Aaron said, still keeping up that demeanor that everything was fine when it most certainly wasn’t.
“Hotch?” Spencer tried pressing gently. He didn’t want to go too far in fear of making Aaron angry at him, but he wasn’t going to give up that easily.
Aaron knew that.
“Yeah…” Aaron sighed, “I’m just… I’ve got a headache, is all,” He mumbled, blinking himself back and not wincing at the dim light, as he glanced at Spencer. His eyes seemed unfocused, and Spencer didn’t like it.
“Are you sure that’s everything?” Spencer asked.
“Yeah, just a headace. I’m gonna shower, the heat and steam will probably help,” Aaron mumbled, standing and grabbing one of the hotel towel’s to bring into the bathroom with him, along with his go bag.
Spencer didn’t say anything else as he watched Aaron disappear into the bathroom. Spencer didn’t tend to calculate how long someone to shower, it really depended on outside factors like cases and how someone was feeling that he didn’t spend his time doing it. However, he knew when it was too long for Aaron. Especially when the shower turned off and Aaron hadn’t emerged after a typical couple of minutes to get dressed.
It took him 9 minutes and 45 seconds to come back out to the main room, and Spencer was fully watching him now. Aaron took hold of the wall to keep steady.
“Hotch?” Spencer asked as he slowly stood.
“I’m… light-lightheaded,” Aaron whispered, and as he tried to take a step, his knees buckled beneath him. Spencer was able to catch him and keep him steady.
“Woah, I gotcha, I gotcha,” Spencer whispered, carefully carrying him to the bed and sitting him down. He pressed the back of his hand against Aaron’s forehead. It wasn’t at all accurate, since the man had just emerged from a hot shower and a steam filled room, but still Spencer didn’t like just how warm Aaron felt.
“You might be running a fever,” Spencer whispered. “I won’t be able to completely tell until you’re body has cooled from the shower.”
“I don’t… feel sick,” Aaron whispered.
“You’re lightheaded enough to lose your footing, that seems sick to me. How much have you slept?”
“This case or in general?” Aaron asked.
“Let’s go with in general,” Spencer said as he stood to grab a washcloth and grabbed the ice bucket.
“I only sleep for about 4 hours a night,” Aaron admitted.
“Not good,” Spencer mumbled. “I’m gonna go grab you some ice. Lay down if you need to.”
Aaron nodded, and Spencer left to do that. When he returned, Aaron was still sitting up, but his hand was back over his eyes, middle finger holding one side of his temple and his thumb holding the other. Spencer filled the washcloth with a bit of ice, not enough to make a huge mess when it melted, but enough to provide a little relief for a headache.
“Do you want some of my over the counter medication?” He asked, carefully placing the washcloth over his neck.
“No, I’m fine,” Aaron whispered shakily.
“We both know you’re not,” Spencer whispered.
“You don’t have to take care of me,” Aaron whispered, dropping his hand to look at Spencer. There was a weakness in his eyes that Spencer had never seen before. Not even after the murder of Haley, this was a different kind of weakness.
“Doesn’t mean I don’t want to,” Spencer whispered. “You’ve taken care of me, right? You don’t always have to be by yourself, Aaron.”
Aaron blinked, clearly exhausted enough not to argue. Spencer watched his reaction, trying to keep his face steady and warm.
“I’ve got you,” Spencer promised. “Lay down, I’ll take care of you.”

Brainstorming for my next letter of ‘P’, which will probably stand for peppermint.
Type: Fluffy/slightly warm, barely spicy
Warning: None
Enjoy under the cut!
There’s a line between boss and subordinate that should never be crossed, everyone is aware of that rule. They know it. They’re reminded of it every year, and none of them are really known to be rule breakers. At least, none of them thought the others to be. Then again, the rule wasn’t terribly enforced, despite it being a constant reminder every year at the building’s week of meetings. They’re always dodging questions about Hillary and Rupert in IT, or Joshua and Kaleb in another department. It was a rule, but if you knew the right people then it really didn’t matter.
What did matter, was that Aaron knew the right people. So, when he and Spencer started getting closer, he prepared himself and his bosses, while reassuring them that it wouldn’t affect their job at all, being the ones to go out into the field and all. And he was right, Spencer and Aaron knew the line between work and personal and they never crossed it. Never enough for it to be a problem, anyway.
But when Spencer hurt his collarbone on a case and was required to stay home for a few weeks, Aaron toed that line a bit more. Sometimes he wondered if Spencer liked being home with Jack, being a sort of housewife (even if they both knew that, that wasn’t the dynamic they wanted or were comfortable in).
Spencer was fairly healed by now, a little tenseness sometimes, but otherwise his muscles and fracture had been healed, and he was due back to work. But, Aaron, selfishness, didn’t want him going back to be met with everyones prying eyes just yet. He stayed close to Spencer throughout the evening, wrapping his arms around him in the kitchen as Spencer cooked dinner, pulling Spencer closer during movie night with Jack, really just unwilling to let him go. Almost as if he was afraid that the moment he did let Spencer go, he would disappear within the blink of an eye and appear back at his desk, putting space between them until they decided to go home for the night, as had been previously.
Spencer wasn’t blind, and he sure as shit wasn’t dumb.
“You can’t hog me forever, Aaron,” Spencer whispered as he crawled onto the bed next to Aaron.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Aaron whispered, wrapping his arm around Spencer as the genius leaned down to kiss him softly.
“Mhm,” Spencer hummed softly into the kiss, chuckling a bit as his legs straddled Aaron’s, effectively sitting on his thighs. “I’m healed, Aaron. I’ve been called back into work, you’re not the only one with a job to do, darling.”
“I know,” Aaron sighed, “Can you blame me for wanting just a bit more time with you?”
“No, but if they’d give you an inch you’d want to take the mile,” Spencer hummed, leaning down to kiss him again, gently holding Aaron’s face. Aaron smiled into the kiss, and Spencer gently moved his kisses down Aaron’s lips, cheeks, chin, down to his neck.
Aaron hummed deeply head tilting back a bit as Spencer loved against his skin.
“I want more than a mile,” Aaron whispered, and Spencer chuckled softly.
“I guess I can give you a bit more,” Spencer whispered, and Aaron chuckled warmly, leaning into Aaron more. Aaron groaned softly, leaning into Spencer back and raising his hands under Spencer’s shirt. Spencer hummed, smiling feeling the cool against his skin.
“Just a little bit?” Aaron whispered, squeezing his skin.
Spencer chuckled, stripping his shirt off and letting Aaron toss it into the void of their floor. Aaron’s lips kissed at Spencer’s neck next, and Spencer inhaled sharply.
Spencer chuckled, through a soft whine, “Just a bit.”

There’s this song that has been stuck in my head… Let the world burn by Chris Grey
Also I just watched that one episode with the arsonist who was in love with his sister and chased out of his town bc of it. So—
Anyway….
Type: UnSub!Aaron Hotchner, murder fic.
Warnings: Just a weebit of crazy, ya know… stabbing and lighting people on fire.
Aaron couldn’t control how he felt for Spencer. He was obsessed. Watching Spencer every second of every day, as much as he physically could. The genius drove him crazy.
It was a mistake coming to this bar. Watching Spencer have a drink or too, feeling a buzz. Witnessing a couple guys come up and try to flirt, only to back off when they met Aaron’s gaze from next to Spencer.
There was the one guy, through, that wasn’t taking the hint.
Spencer kept giggling, shaking his head fondly. The guy kept touching him, squeezing his thigh, touching his arm. Aaron couldn’t stand it. He was going to burn this bar to the ground with this guy inside of it, listen to his cries for help and do nothing. Clearly there was no other way to handle this dude, or maybe Aaron was just a little out of it.
It didn’t matter.
Thank god JJ came to save him. She pulled Spencer away from the guy, giving some lame ass excuse that they had to leave, and Reid happily went with her after saying his goodbyes to him and Aaron. Aaron said goodnight and watched as the other guy huffed in annoyance but didn’t try too hard to keep him.
They shared a glance, and the dude rolled his eyes. Solidifying his fate in Aaron’s mind.
He watched the man leave out the back door, and Aaron followed him silently, finding him smoking in the back alley.
“Need a light?” The dude asked, and Aaron hummed. As the dude fished out his lighter, Aaron grabbed his combat blade from his back pocket and sliced him through the neck, expertly in the artery. The guy gasp, reaching up to grab his throat as the blood spilled and sprayed.
Aaron grabbed his flask from the inside of his jacket pocket, dumping the contents over him, and grabbing his matchbox and lighting the body ablaze. He walked away from it calmly, avoiding the blood spill and keeping his head down as he walked through the alley’s avoiding camera’s from the main roads until he ended up on another street.
After that, he went home, texting Spencer to make sure he was safe. And once he got a text back, he smiled, cleaning his blade and making sure it stayed sharp for when needed, refilling his flask with lighter fluid and setting it in his closet.
One day, he was going to make the world burn for Spencer. And they’d dance in the flames.

Back with another request! 36 with drunk Spencer and hotchreid? 🥺🥺
Of course, of course!
36: “You’re drunk, let’s get you to bed…”
Type: Fluff cute
Warning: Drinking
Spencer giggled as Aaron moved him through his apartment and onto his couch. They’d just gotten home from celebrating Derek’s birthday. Spencer wasn’t usually a drinker, but Derek had practically peerpressured him into doing a few shots, and now Aaron had to make sure Spencer was going to be okay during the night.
Spencer seemed overall fine, a little giggly, and his thoughts were jumbley and pure mumble. What used to be mostly clear speaking, despite how fast he could talk, was now nothing but slurs of sound. However, whatever he was saying made complete and total sense to Spencer himself, his own sounds causing him to giggle.
“Here, drink some water,” Aaron whispered, handing him his specific metal bottle to drink out of, and Spencer swayed as he slowly drank the entire bottle. Luckily it was only able half full and mostly had ice in it.
“You’re really gonna need to piss in a minute,” Aaron mumbled as he took the bottle and brushed some of Spencer’s hair back.
Spencer mumbled something again, but Aaron didn’t really get to understand him because Spencer was standing, and slowly stumbling and making his way down to the bathroom. He, somehow, successfully pissed hopefully most of the alcohol out of his system. Aaron found him struggling with his zipper when Spencer took longer than expected.
“Okay,” Aaron huffed, carefully moving Spencer’s hands. “Can I help?”
Spencer giggled, nodding slowly as he held his hands up by his shoulders. Aaron fixed his jeans and got him to wash his hands. He then lead Spencer into his room, carefully setting him down.
“Ho’ch,” Spencer slurred, reaching for Aaron as he was sat down, gigglings.
“Reid,” Aaron responded as he found Spencer’s comfortable pants and a nice shit.
“Wha’cha do’in?” Spencer hiccuped, still giggly.
“Gonna get you dressed for bed,” Aaron said, sitting down next to Spencer and carefully handling him.
“Bed? Mmm no, no…” Spencer giggled.
“Yes, bed,” Aaron said. “You’re drunk, Spencer. C’mon, let’s get you changed so you can get to bed.”
Spencer hummed but allowed Aaron to strip him down and put the fresh bed clothes on him. Spencer giggled some more, and once he was dressed, he all but collapsed over Aaron. Aaron grunted softly, exhaling sharply.
Spencer smiled, leaning up to kiss Aaron’s chin. Aaron cleared his throat, “Spencer,” he whispered.
“I looove you,” Spencer giggled, before falling backwards onto his bed and curling up into it. “mm’goodnight, Aaron.”
Aaron’s face flushed, “Goodnight, Spencer,” he whispered.

28 for heid pls! :>
Well of course! #28: "I know you hate being touched, but... I need a hug."
Type: Fluff!
Warnings: None!
Enjoy under the cut!
Aaron classified two types of the hardest cases the team has to deal with. One’s with children, and one’s with victims that look similar to anyone on the team unintentionally. Those are the cases that emotions come through when they shouldn’t, and the person represented by these victims takes it personal even when, in most cases, it’s pure coincidence.
It was Spencer’s turn to fit victimology. Surprisingly, Spencer didn’t seem affected by it, though if anyone is least affected it is Spencer. His intelligence probably helps him detach more than the others.
Instead it hit Aaron hard.
One of the victims, Nicklaus Ghole, looked identical to Spencer, so much that even the genius had to do a double take and blink at the image. That’s when Aaron’s emotions took over, that photo. He couldn’t see a random victim he’s never met, he could only see Spencer (despite the fact that the real Spencer was living and breathing in front of him). Aaron fucked up, finding the UnSub unstable and going through a mental break. He found him alone, and took the shot without even trying to talk him down.
A knock at his office door caused him to look up, and Spencer stood in the doorway. His expression was concern. “Hotch…?” He whispered. “Everyone’s gone home.”
“You haven’t,” Aaron mumbled.
“I was finishing some work that I wasn’t able to before the case. I thought you’d left already,” Spencer admitted, setting the files down on Aaron’s desk. “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine,” Aaron replied, short and untrue. Spencer remained undisturbed.
“It’s normal, to see a photo of someone you care about and letting your heart take over, especially in situations where the person is portrayed as harmed or killed…” Spencer started mumbling, and Aaron sighed. “Surprisingly, a study that Joseph McInerney did, he’s a executive vice president of the American Society of Human Genetics, he found that any two people taken at random are going to share about 99.5 percent of their gene sequence, causing them to look eerily similar.”
“Reid, I appreciate what you’re trying to do but-” Aaron started.
“You didn’t follow protocol,” Spencer whispered, and Aaron snapped his gaze up to him. “It scares me, when you don’t follow protocol. At first I just… I didn’t think anything of it. I though you were just having a bad day. Maybe Jack had a hard morning, maybe you didn’t sleep well, you never seem to anymore. Then Nicklaus’ photo showed up and… that’s when I really thought about why you were so… irritable.”
“You didn’t noted they all resembled you?” Aaron asked, finding that hard to believe.
“No, I did. I just didn’t realize it mattered that much,” Spencer admitted with a soft shrug. “Just, promise me you won’t keep staring at the photo. I’m right here, Aaron. Not there.” He whispered, seeing Nicklaus’ crime photos on Aaron’s desk. Aaron hadn’t even noticed he’d been staring.
Spencer turned around, meaning to leave, but Aaron stood before he could take the three strides to the door, only making it about halfway there before Aaron spoke up. "I know you hate being touched, but...” he swallowed thickly, “I can’t lie, I did let my emotions get the better of me. And I was… unprofessional, I was worried, and for some reason this photo is messing with my perception. I…I need a hug. I need to know you’re really here.”
Spencer stared at him for a moment, before a small smile grew in his lips and he stepped over, slotting himself comfortably in Aaron’s arms and allowing him the relief. Aaron took a deep breath, holding Spencer warmly, relaxing more when Spencer’s arms squeezed him gently, reenforcing his life in Aaron’s.
“I’m right here,” Spencer promised as he slowly pulled away. Aaron exhaled softly, letting his arms go slack. “C’mon, close this all up, let’s go get dinner.”
Aaron couldn’t find it in his heart to say no.

12 or 24 with jemily
I’d be delighted! #24 "Fucking christ, can you do that again? Please?"
Type: Smut
Warning: It’s just sex :)
Enjoy under the cut!
JJ giggled as Emily pulled her in for a kiss. They’d been doing this for a while now, and it always made JJ dizzy when Emily was on her. Henry was gone at Will’s for the night, so Emily came over just for a girls night that soon turned into making out sesh on the couch. As usual, JJ found herself with her back on the couch, Emily overtop of her kissing her stupid.
“Em…” JJ breathed as Emily pulled away, immediately taking her route down JJ’s neck with gentle kisses that tickled, while her band’s danced up her shirt just enough to find the waistband to her sweatpants.
JJ’s head was tilted back, exhaling shakily as Emily tugged the pants just a bit, not fully removing them. “Fucking Christ, Em, just take them off,” JJ whispered.
She never has to ask Emily twice.
The sweats were quickly forgotten on the floor besides the couch, her panties soon dropping with them. Emily lifted JJ up just enough to remove her shirt as well before removing her own. JJ typically went braless at home, so it took Emily one second to remove her own as JJ laid back down.
JJ’s hands drifted up Emily’s stomach always unable to resist touching the woman above her as Emily leaned back down to kiss her again, her hand gently dancing it’s way down to JJ’s cunt. A soft whine escaped JJ’s lips as Emily slowly teased her, building her up as her mouth focused back on JJ’s throat; never leaving marks to be seen, but in some way claiming JJ as her own.
“Shit… Em, please,” JJ whimpered, hips slowly grinding against her hand, Emily chuckled in her neck.
“You’re so gorgeous,” Emily whispered in her ear before slowly going down her body. “You always sound so pretty for me.”
“You’re always such a fuckin tease,” JJ whispered, though she giggled lightly; she liked the teasing, they both knew that.
“You love it,” Emily whispered, slowly letting her lower body of the couch and pulling JJ closer to her face so she could properly eat her girlfriend out.
The moan that left JJ’s lips was the only angel song Emily would ever need, and she’d do anything to keep that melody for as long as possible, letting her tongue dance over JJ’s clit teasingly, having memorized everything about JJ and what she liked.
She groaned herself as JJ’s hand gripped the back of her head with a small whimper. “Fuck- Em, christ, can you do that again? Please? Just like that?” Always asking for what she wanted, how could Emily not listen?
Tongue dancing back and forth, circling her clit, tasting all over her like a last meal, but one she’d take her time enjoying. JJ never lasted terribly long, her thighs already pressing and caging Emily in. JJ squealed as her stomach tightened and flexed, crying out as she came on Emily’s tongue.
Emily chuckled, continuing her little act of pleasuring torture until JJ was moving her, herself. With a few deep breaths from both of them, Emily kissed the skin of his thigh, finding her way back up JJ’s body.
“I think it’s time we head upstairs…” Emily whispered, and JJ giggled lightly just as Emily lifted her up to carry her to the bedroom.

Whoops, my finger slipped. Tehe.
Type: Smexy but not smutty.
Warning: Mmmm hot. Sexual fantasies mentioned but really they just kiss, so no sex. :(
“Sir?” Spencer asked as he knocked on the door, he’d been called up after everyone left.
“Reid,” Aaron said, looking up from his file, closing it and setting it aside, “shut the door for me.”
“Did… I do something wrong?” Spencer asked, shutting the door.
“No, of course not,” Aaron said, seeming to try and be reassuring. “Please,” he motioned to the chairs.
“Okay,” He sat down in front of Aaron’s desk, while he didn’t feel really out of place or uncomfortable, he was clearly confused.
“So, I got a… letter,” Aaron started, grabbing the piece of paper from underneath a pile. “It’s not… addressed to anyone, just to the BAU, but, um… I believe it’s for you.”
“Why?” Spencer asked, accepting the piece of paper, unfolding it and quickly scanning the words. His eyes widened and his face flushed. “Oh god-” he whispered and swallowed thickly “Sir-”
“Now, I’m not one to… intrude? Frankly I don’t like actively reading other people’s mail, but since this wasn’t properly mailed and it did end up on my desk,” Aaron started.
“Sir- I will talk to Ethan about what he sends, I am so-” Spencer cleared his throat, shutting the piece of paper. “I apologize, repeatedly-”
“My name is in it… that’s my question,” Aaron said after a moment, and Spencer just seemed to shy away more. “Spencer, why is my name in that… very explicit letter?”
“Ethan-um…” Spencer coughed lightly, refusing to make eye contact again. “He’s, goddamnit… it’s a kink?” Spencer mumbled. “He has this thing for boss/employee relations, and he found your name through my file… and now I get these… this-I don’t know why I just… didn’t send it to my apartment he has my address.”
“So you have many of these… explicit letters with my name in them? And you didn’t tell me?” Aaron asked.
“I know it’s a problem,” Spencer said, eye’s finally reaching Aaron’s. “And I’ve tried talking to him about it, I’ve tried ignoring the letters. I know- and I’m trying-”
“Do you… indulge in the fantasies he tells you?” Aaron asked, completely out of left field from what Spencer was expecting.
“I-um,” Spencer breathed. “No…” he sounded small.
“You’re lying,” Aaron whispered. “To a profiler.”
“Sir- I-” Spencer’s chest heaved lightly with his words, clearly overwhelming embarrassed.
“I could report you for this,” Aaron mumbled, and Spencer lowered his gaze. “Have you fired.”
“I know,” Spencer whispered.
“I should… have you fired for this…” Aaron continued. “However, I don’t think that’d be really fair.”
“Sir?”
Aaron stood, adjusting his suit and stepping over, taking the letter from Spencer and setting it on the desk. The genius looked up at him, his hand keeping the position it had while holding the letter, though in a more relaxed posture.
“Do you think of me like this, Spencer?” Aaron asked, tapping the letter.
“Sometimes I wonder…” Spencer admitted softly.
Aaron grabbed his weirdly patterned tie, and Spencer almost stopped breathing. “Sometimes?” Aaron whispered.
“Hotch-” Spencer whispered, slowly releasing a breath.
Spencer officially stopped breathing when Aaron leaned down and kissed him. The whimper that left his throat was downright sinful, and Aaron clutched onto his clothing as he slowly raised Spencer from the chair and pressed him to sit against the desk for a better angle.
“Sir-” Spencer breathed, head tilting back as Aaron separated them to look up at him better.
“Better than a fantasy,” Aaron whispered, and Spencer just nodded. “So is everything else…”

Could I request hotchniss with prompt 37 pretty please? I feel like Aaron and Emily don’t say I love you as much as they would do actions to prove so, but when either of them are drunk it’s out the window. So touchy, so verbal and SO in love. :)
I’d be delighted! Thank you Anon! # 37: "Mmm, I looooove youuuuu~!" (Drunk) Under the cut!
Type: Fluffy
Warnings: Drunk people, but it’s very cute!
(You’ll have to forgive me I don’t write Emily that much but she is technically intoxicated so…)
Going out for drinks with the team was always fun, even for Aaron who typically liked spending his time alone or with his son. Or with Emily. Gatherings weren’t usually his thing, but he enjoyed them from time to time, nonetheless. It was always fun watching Prentiss drink a bit too much. Aaron tried to stay careful, since he had a boy at home.
“We’ll see you all on Monday,” Aaron chuckled as Emily kept a hold on him, laughing and giggling.
“Take good care of her!” JJ called, giggling herself as she was gently tugged away by her husband, Garcia shouting something similar as she was led away by Spencer and Derek, shouting something else about a cute puppy she’d seen earlier.
“C’mon, let’s get you home,” Aaron laughed, wrapping Emily’s arm around his own and leading her down the block to his car.
“Your home or mine?” She teased, giggling wildly at her own innuendo.
“Mine. I don’t trust you alone when you’re this gone.” Aaron responded anyway. “And Jack’ll like to see you again.”
“Awe, I lov-love Jack,” Emily hiccuped/cooed as they reached Aaron car. She lit up as she stumbled to it, accidentally dragging Aaron with her.
“Emily-” Aaron chuckled softly, letting her lean against the passenger door.
Emily beamed at him, pressing soft kisses to his face, primarily his nose and left cheek. “Mmm, and I looove youu~!" She whispered, wrapping her arms around his shoulder and pulling him closer. “Very much, I love you so-“ she kissed him “so-” and again "so much!” She giggled. Aaron smiled at her, more warm and inviting.
“I love you too, now c’mon,” Aaron chuckled, kissing her forehead lightly. “I can take care of you better at home.”

Here have this little piece while I plan my next letter, ‘O’, not sure when it’ll come out since I don’t have a schedule, heh!
Type: Fluff
Warnings: None
Spencer’s a cold boi
Enjoy under the cut!
“It feels like you’re scared of me,” Aaron mumbled, thankfully not causing Spencer to jump.
The genius was curled up on the very edge of the bed, facing Aaron, body curled around one pillow like it was a shield and his second pillow under his head like normal. His eye’s perked open when he heard Aaron’s voice.
“Hm? Oh, no. I’m just… very naturally cold. My hands and my feet are always freezing, and I didn’t want to reset your heart by accidentally touching you, so…” Spencer explained.
“Are you cold? Like… is it just your hands and feet or are you cold all over?” Aaron asked.
“It’s kinda chilly in here. You insisted on having the side closest to the door, though, leaving me with the AC side,” Spencer said, though clearly teasing. “Classic Alpha Male behavior, even though in case of I break in I think we’d both risk dying since I don’t really have a way out.”
“Could hide in the bathroom,” Aaron reasoned, and Spencer chuckled softly. “C’mere. Haley always complained I was a furnace.”
“I seriously think you’ll regret that,” Spencer whispered.
“Try me,” Aaron argued, and Spencer hummed, before slowly inching closer to Aaron. His hand slowly pressed against Aaron’s side, and while Spencer could feel the skin flush and raise in goosebumps, Aaron himself didn’t flinch.
“I won’t bite you,” Aaron chuckled, carefully moving Spencer closer, letting him rest right against him. As if this were completely fucking normal.
“I’m not too certain about that,” Spencer whispered, but he relax against his boss, accepting the heat fighting against the natural chill of his body.
“Have you looked into getting you body heat checked out? I don’t think this is normal,” Aaron asked, lifting Spencer’s freezing hand gently up, as if to inspect it.
“Mmm, since I don’t turn any shade of blue or purple I’m fine, just more susceptible to cooler temperatures,” Spencer mumbled, letting Aaron’s finger’s dance over his own, head resting comfortably against his shoulder. “Too cold for you?” He teased.
“Hardly, though I would be more concerned,” Aaron chuckled, letting Spencer’s hand rest atop of his bare chest. Curse him for not wearing a shirt.
“As long as I don’t turn purple, I should be okay,” Spencer whispered.
“I’ll make sure you don’t.”

I got bored again :)
Type: Fluff, tooth rotting, cavity inflicting.
Warnings: N/A
This shit is fluffier than shampooed and dried cows. I love them, your honor. <3
Spencer was a sort of enigma to his teammates. They knew he was a genius, that much was obvious. He was a sweetheart, a genuinely good-hearted man, who, despite his intelligence and career choice, sees the good in everyone whether or not their first impressions are good. This man wanted to be a father, a husband, and he’d make a great one at that.
Aaron knew that first hand.
He couldn’t explain how he and Spencer started growing closer, he’s sure Spencer could, but he didn’t have the memory that Spencer did. He knew it started with Spencer bringing him food one evening, he’d been working late (as usual) and Spencer surprised him. And then kept bringing him dinner.
That shifted to Aaron putting work aside and going to dinner with Spencer. And somehow that derailed into Spencer coming over to Aaron’s for dinner. Jack was overjoyed with Spencer consistently coming over. The genius helped with homework, not giving him direct answers but explaining the problem in a different way to get to the correct answer when it came to math, or breaking down his history passage in a way that was easier for Jack to understand. Aaron loved watching them interact, and Jack loved sitting on Spencer’s lap at the table as they worked.
“Hey, will you go relieve Jess for the night? I have to finish this one file but she needs to get home and get some sleep, she’s got a doctors appointment in the morning,” Aaron asked, clearly stressed out.
“Of course,” Spencer nodded. “But only the one file,” he said teasingly, and Aaron smiled with a nod.
When Aaron got home, Spencer was helping Jack make spaghetti. Aaron smiled, “What’s going on in here?” He asked joyfully.
“We’re making spaghetti for you Daddy!” Jack giggled, stirring the sauce with Spencer’s hand over his. Spencer smiled at him.
“He asked if I knew how to cook, and if I’d teach him,” Spencer explained.
“It smells good,” Aaron complimented.
“Thanks, won’t be as good as Rossi’s but,” Spencer chuckled. “It’s mostly chemistry.”
“Everything’s chemistry or math with you,” Aaron chuckled as he set his suit jacket and briefcase down.
“Because it is,” Spencer smiled. “It’s almost ready, go get comfy.”
“Okay,” Aaron chuckled, grabbing his items from the table and going to his room to change.
Dinner was amazing. Jack was over the moon proud of himself. Aaron and Spencer was as well, praising Jack throughout the dinner. Aaron and Spencer cleaned the kitchen while Jack did his nightly routine, brushing his teeth and pajamas and such.
Those memories stuck out to Aaron, and he smiled to himself when he caught himself thinking about it. His favorite memory, however, was when he finally accepted their relationship had blossomed into something much deeper.
Spencer had helped put Jack to bed, per Jack’s request, and Aaron watched over them from the doorway with a smile. Spencer read to Jack, allowing the boy to cuddle into his side, until the boy was sleeping soundly. Spencer set the book aside, switching off the dim lamp and turning on the nightlight before carefully standing from the bed.
“You’re so good with him,” Aaron whispered as Spencer approached him, arms crossed over his chest.
“I try,” Spencer chuckled. “Thank you, for… letting me be apart of his life.”
“Thank you,” Aaron whispered. “For dragging my ass outta the office, and helping me become a more active father.”
“You’ve always been an active father,” Spencer said softly, his arm moving to brush something off of Aaron’s shoulder. “Sometimes I worried you weren’t active for yourself. You… work and work and work for everyone else. You deserve to work for yourself too.”
Aaron smiled, and Spencer shared it. “Will you stay the night?” Aaron asked, something he’d never asked before and something Spencer never offered. He didn’t think before he said it, but something felt right about it.
“I’d love to,” Spencer smiled softly.
Aaron wanted to kiss him there and then. He didn’t, he lasted through the night and to the morning. But watching Spencer make coffee for them as he served Jack breakfast, allowing Aaron to sleep in, but smiling at Aaron when he realized he was awake, that chipped away more of Aaron’s self control. “Brush your teeth after breakfast,” Spencer said softly, and Jack nodded as Spencer moved to make Aaron a cup of coffee.
“Sleep well?” Spencer asked as Aaron approached him.
“I did,” Aaron nodded, accepting the cup of coffee. “You made breakfast.”
“I did,” Spencer nodded. “Jack came down and declared he wanted pancakes, and I noticed you at least had a box mix. So… I used it. I’ll replace it, I promise, but we’ve been sharing dinosaur facts and he’s telling me about the new unit of evolution he’s learning about.”
Jack smiled and nodded with a mouthful of pancake, his final one, before standing and hugging his father. “Can Spencie stay forever?” He asked after swallowing his bite.
Aaron chuckled, “Probably not forever, but I’m sure you could convince him to stay over more often,” He suggested, and Jack looked at Spencer with puppy eyes.
“I will come over as often as I can,” Spencer promised. “Go brush your teeth and get ready for school.”
“Okay!” Jack giggled as he ran to his room to get ready.
“Unless you wanna stay forever,” Aaron whispered, and Spencer smiled at him.
“You’ll get sick of me eventually,” Spencer chuckled softly.
“Never,” Aaron whispered. Spencer chuckled softly, taking a sip of his coffee.
“I do have to go back to my apartment before work, I didn’t bring a change of clothes,” Spencer chuckled.
“We don’t work today, and I know you remember that,” Aaron whispered, and Spencer nodded. “Running away so soon, Reid?”
“Not unless you want me to,” Spencer whispered, setting his cup down.
“Good. Because I’ve got spare clothes, and we have all day. Maybe we could work on that.. self stuff you were talking about last night. I mainly just do paperwork on my days off.”
“And that’s why you never have days off,” Spencer chuckled, shaking his head. “Once we drop Jack off, let’s do something you actually enjoy.”
Aaron self control almost completely crumbled when Spencer had changed into a pair of his clothes. The shirt was a size and a half too big, and while the pants fit fairly nice, they fit a little too nice. Aaron stared for longer than he intended.
“Do I look okay?” Spencer asked with a soft chuckle.
“Amazing,” Aaron said breathlessly. “It’s weird not to see you in your usual sweater vest though,” He chuckled, and Spencer smiled, arms crossed over his chest.
“I’m ready!” Jack called as he ran down the hallways.
“Let’s go!” Spencer chuckled, taking Jack’s hand as the boy practically ran for the door, dragging Spencer with him.
Once Jack was dropped off, Spencer directed Aaron to drive to a little cafe, they got coffee and a little snack before starting their day together. While Spencer usually stayed home and read by himself, occasionally (if he was feeling up to it) he’d window shop and walk through a park, mainly just take in the city. They got lunch, shopped a little bit, before heading home. Spencer helped Aaron clean around the house, setting up nicknacks that they bought to liven up the house a bit, the day was filled with giggles and jokes between both of them.
The rest of Aaron’s self control crumbled while Spencer was organizing the kitchen. He wasn’t rearranging, but he was making things neater to place some new appliances that he deemed Aaron needed for baking purposes, and then started a sourdough starter, explaining the benefits of homemade bread. His eyes were so bright and lively, explaining with such joy how to keep the sourdough fed and how to store it. When he finished, he noticed Aaron staring at him with a dopey smile.
“You’re staring again,” Spencer chuckled softly as he washed his hands.
“You’re amazing,” Aaron whispered, and Spencer blinked at the compliment, before he smiled. “You truly are… magnificent.”
“Hotch,” Spencer whispered softly. Aaron gently pulled him closer.
“Aaron is fine,” He whispered.
“Aaron,” Spencer corrected, allowing his personal space to be invaded. “If we do this…”
“I know,” Aaron whispered. “But you are something I need in my life. More than just at work. I’d rather have you here, with us. As often as you can.”
“I wanna be here,” Spencer whispered, his hands coming to rest at Aaron’s biceps.
“May I kiss you?” Aaron whispered, and Spencer nodded with a smile.
Aaron kissed him gently, Spencer cupped the back of his head and held him closer. Aaron’s hands held him by his waist, gripping as if he was scared that Spencer would vanish. When they pulled apart, Aaron practically crumbled in his arms.
“I need you with me,” Aaron whispered.
“And you have me.”
Each memory was important to Aaron, as Spencer was important to him. He learned so much about Spencer during their time together. How his few sensory issues affected him, how his brain worked when it was conflicted between his own feelings and the feelings of others. How he processed strong emotions like love and how he showed it. Hell, even how he handled physical intimacy. Aaron loved learning these things about Spencer, and himself honestly. He loved watching Spencer with Jack, learning how to be a supportive parent. Both their hearts melted when Jack called Spencer Papa for the first time. Spencer cried. A good cry, but still cried.
Aaron knew this was the man he wanted in his life until the end of time. He knew this was the person he could continue to grow and learn with, who Jack could learn and grown from, who needed them just as much as they did. Aaron knew this was forever.
So, he bought a ring.

Touch
A little snippet of touch. I got bored....
Type: Fluff
Warning: N/A
Spencer could handle a lot of things, and he did. Everyday, he was handling something new. But he knew himself, and he knew his limits. And one of those limits, was physical contact.
Now, he didn't mind the occasional hug, or sometimes when Morgan would wrap his arm around his shoulder, or when JJ would pat him on the shoulder, and Rossi would bump him to get him moving, Penelope, overall, somehow was the overall exception to this rule. However, there was one person who never tried to touch him: Hotch.
Aaron Hotchner hardly ever tried having any sort of physical contact with him. Not that Spencer really minded, that'd worked together long enough that it wasn't foreign to Spencer for him to think about it. He only really thought about it the few times Aaron did touch him, whether it be to catch his attention, or that fist bump on the plane. And it got Spencer wondering, after years of not thinking or bothering himself with it. Why didn't Aaron touch him like the others.
The more he watched Aaron, kept a keen eye on him, hell studied him, he really that Aaron didn't touch...anyone, if he could avoid it. He'd shake someone's hand, sure, but that was as far as that went. While the rest of the team seemed fairly touchy, he noticed how Hotch hardly put the effort in to reach out for anyone. Spencer wondered about it, maybe Hotch had his own aversions to touch? Maybe he was like Spencer and his skin crawled whenever he was touched without warning? There was no good way to test Spencer's theories without Aaron getting suspicious. Still, Spencer was determined.
So, he started with gentle bumps against Aaron as they walked, or as Spencer passed him. He started with apologies, making it seem like it was just little accidents, but when Hotch politely brushed him off, Spencer started doing it without the apologies. Aaron either didn't notice, or didn't care enough to comment on it. So, Spencer started standing a bit too close, maybe their elbows would brush. The backs of their hands if one of them moved too quickly. Once again, nothing from the Chief, so Spencer wasn't sure if it was part of his 'Alpha Male' persona that he put on when he was in his chief role, or if he simply just didn't care enough.
So, Spencer stayed at his side. He didn't ming the occasional contact, it was grounding to him honestly. It felt safe, weirdly enough, and he was comfortable being that close to Aaron. Aaron didn't seem opposed, barely sparing Spencer a glance half the time if they did bump or brush into one another, so Spencer stayed where he felt most comfortable. It wasn't until he heard JJ and Emily whispering to one another about Spencer's shift that he started to feel weird about it.
"You noticed how Reid's alright right next to Hotch?" JJ whispered when she thought Spencer was out of earshot as they were walking to the meeting room.
"Yeah, but neither of them seems to mind," Emily mumbled softly.
"It's still strange, Spence used to be terrified of Hotch," JJ responded, and Spencer inhaled softly.
"I wouldn't think too much of it. I'm sure it's just Reid being Reid," Emily shrugged, and Spencer didn't like how that felt in his chest. What exactly did that mean? He's sure she didn't mean to sound mean or anything, but still, that was a weird way to phrase it.
When they reach the briefing room to give a profile, Spencer moved to stand next to Rossi and Morgan instead of Hotch, but the chief gently, and shockingly unnoticing to everyone else in the room, grabbed the edge of his sweater vest and gently, but sternly, pulled him to stand right next to him.
"Ignore them, they're just gossiping," Aaron whispered gently, glancing at JJ and Emily at the other end of the line up.
Rossi started giving the profile before Spencer could respond.
After they had the case solved, Spencer thought about what Hotch had done at the meeting. Pulling Spencer closer was not something he calculated happening, and while he's not mad about it, he was confused. He didn't think Aaron cared about whether or not Spencer was close to him. He didn't notice, at first, how Aaron walked into the jet right after Spencer and made sure to sit down next to him. Spencer smiled at him, but didn't say anything.
"Don't worry about the eyes," Aaron said softly, catching Spencer's attention. "I don't mind having you close to me."
Spencer smiled softly, and Aaron offered his hand under the table. Spencer took it carefully.

so sorry for the 2nd request i just love your writing so much, 25 for hotchreid? it seemed very funny if it was in character somehow hahA
Of COURSE! I was kinda HOPING for it! (I also tried to make it in character but was REALLY difficult) (Also send as many requests as you please) #25: “You're unbelievably sexy. It's unfair, actually."
Type: I wouldn't even say fluff, it's kinda just funny
Warning: None!
Enjoy under the cut
“That’s the fourth prostitute this evening,” Aaron grumbled, and Spencer glanced at him as they walked around the streets. They were investigating another serial killer targeting high-risk victims, and they had to talk to a number of sex workers to try and narrow the guy down. This time, however, Aaron was the one getting propositioned and special offers.
“Well, it’s to be expected when working with women who get their money from sex,” Spencer shrugged. “They see a good looking man, he’s in a high tailored suit so that means money, and they try and used themselves to get some money.”
“I guess I just figured they’d be more attracted to someone younger,” Aaron shrugged.
“Age doesn’t tend to matter,” Spencer explained. “If they’re getting money, they’re getting what they want.”
Aaron simply nodded, and after speaking to another prostitute, Spencer’s point was proven once again. Luckily that was the final one for the night before the team reconvened, and then finally back to the hotel to rest and have fresh brains for the morning.
Surprisingly, Aaron got another proposition outside of their hotel.
“Jesus, it’s like they flocked to me tonight,” Aaron said as they walked into their room.
“Can you blame them? You're unbelievably sexy. It's unfair, actually. If you want me to be absolutely honest,” Spencer said, setting his satchel down.
"Excuse me?" Aaron asked though he chuckled softly. So he was off-put, but not upset. Duly-noted. Spencer turned to look back over at him.
"What? Would you prefer I lie?" Spencer asked, and Aaron quirked an eyebrow in interest. "Hotch, objectively, you're a very attractive man. Especially to women. Even down to your bone structure, the jawline, cheekbones, all of it. The broad shoulders definitely aren't hurting your looks, and while you're quiet, a look from you can silence a room. So, you're authoritative without even trying or in an abusive way."
"You called me sexy," Aaron said.
"Yeah, that too," Spencer said undoing his sweater vest and tossing it on top of his travel bag, he'd take care of it later he was too mentally tired to deal with it at the moment, or at least that's what he told himself as he removed his tie and tossed it with the vest, sitting down on the hotel couch. "If not for the money aspect, the suit kinda betrays you there like I said earlier, all of the things I just said about you push you in a sexually attractive or exciting way... hence; sexy."
"So... you find me sexually attractive or exciting?" Aaron asked, and Spencer paused for a moment, turning his head as if he were thinking about it.
"If you weren't my boss, and I didn't know you like I do... yes," Spencer settled on. "But, because I respect you, and you are my superior, I'll just tell you that I do find you objectively attractive, as are pretty much everyone on this team."
"Objectively," Aaron solidified.
"Objectively," He finalized before looking down at the case file he'd just pulled out of his bag.

Request Prompts
I keep seeing people doing numbered prompts that people can request, so take this as my version! Super excited!
I'll write most ships (Nothing romantic with Rossi, tho, he's a Pasta dad to me.) But I prefer things like Heid, Jemily, and Moreid though I haven't read/written a lot of them! But I will do straight ships as well! If you'd like, you may also include Jack or Henry for a little Jack or Hen-team/parental/fatherly bonding
I do write smut, so some of these can drift into that territory as well. (And for you Spencer lovers out there, I will also write Ethan as a little Pre-Canon special)
Just lemme know!
"Do you really think I'd leave you like that?"
"Do you want to go out next week? Or... maybe tomorrow?"
"Listen, I'm still trying to figure everything out."
"You can kiss me, it's okay."
"(S)He's mine. Back up."
"You're hands surprisingly soft..."
"Do you want kids/more kids?"
"Breathe (name), just breathe for me, okay? Keep breathing."
"Do you love me?"... "Prove it."
"You shouldn't fear your scars. They're one of the many things I love about you."
"Your brain isn't something to be feared, it's something to embrace" (Clearly targeted)
"I'm not as innocent as I look."
"I'm overwhelmed and I need to get away from here. Now."
"Please... I'm so scared."
"You're staring at me... again."
"Do you want sprinkles or not?"
"You can't hide from me!"
"I see through your shit."
"You work too hard."
"Kiss me one more time."
"I'd die for you."
"I'll kill for you." (Addition: "Please don't."/"You already have.")
"I'm... lightheaded..."
"Fucking christ, can you do that again? Please?"
"You're unbelievably sexy. It's unfair, actually."
"You taste like coffee."
"Please keep holding me."
"I know you hate being touched, but... I need a hug."
"I've never done this before... am I doing it right?"
"You can teach me."
"Let's go."
"Come back."
"Someone who loves you would never do this to you."
"You need to run. Run like you've never run before."
"Can you stop avoiding me and talk to me like I'm a fucking person and not a text on your phone?"
"You're drunk, let's get you to bed."
"Mmm, I looooove youuuuu~!" (Drunk)
"It's okay, you can sleep on me."
"Is this okay?"
"I need you."

Jemily Prompt 40.
Mostly because neither are the type to admit to help/vulnerability.
So true, Anon, so true. #40: I need you
Type: Hurt/Comfort typea feel
Warning: Talks of being dead/self-doubt
Enjoy under the cut!
Emily was struggling. She was reaching a breaking point that she wasn't sure she could pull herself from. Things kept popping up from her past, threatening the home she was building herself, and the new family she was making, and she couldn't stop it. She wasn't strong enough to prevent it, she thought it was over when Doyle died, but it's never over. It'll never be over. Not until she's dead.
She kept finding herself staring in the mirror. She's a fighter, she won't give up, but this was getting exceptionally more difficult to fight, and fight, and fight. She could run, and protect her new family that way. But she was so tired of running. Maybe she was paranoid. Maybe nothing was wrong, she couldn't tell. Her brain was too wild to tell. Could she ever be free from the secrets of who she was? Who she is?
A knock at her door pulled her away from the mirror. She was on edge, so with her gun in hand, she slowly made her way over, looking into the peephole. With a soft breath, she set the firearm in her belt, unlocking the door and letting it swing open for the one person who always seemed to make her feel her safest. JJ.
"Hey, you weren't answering calls," JJ said gently, following Emily into the apartment. "I wanted to know... are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just... I got a phone call and it kinda spooked me," She admitted softly.
"Why, who was it from?" JJ asked, crossing her arms.
"No one important, what'd you want to know?" Emily asked, taking her gun out of her belt and setting it aside, trying to make it seem nonchalant.
"Emily," JJ whispered, "You promised we'd start being more honest with one another."
"JJ," Emily whispered.
"Please just talk to me," JJ said, "Emily, we can figure this out. I can see you, I can tell you're dancing around idea's up there, I can see you're scared. You need to stop pushing people away, stop pushing me away."
"I'm not really sure of his name, but I know he's one of Doyle's old friends," Emily whispered. "God, JJ I just... I wanted to protect all from this, and I thought that with Doyle dead, that would've been the end of it, or that he himself killed all of those people. I can't keep bringing these people who could kill you-"
"You're not going anywhere, Emily," JJ whispered. "You've, you've been gone enough. Okay? Whatever it is, whoever it is, we will fight with you. We need you here, Em. I need you here... with me... okay?"
"I need you too," Emily whispered, opening her arms as JJ came in for a hug, squeezing the blond tightly. "More than you'll ever know."
