The most researched on the subject. Has specific days of the week when he checks on your health and makes sure that your doing well. He's not a therapist, but he'll try his best to help you through your problems.

He notices that after missions that didn't go the way you wanted/ones that you failed, your expression shows shame and embarrassment. But anytime anyone asks, you refuse to let your guard down or talk about it for fear you’ll seem weak.

You're highly organized, making sure to have everything you and your allies need for a mission, along with meeting mission deadlines to please Spider Queen and helping the others solve all their problems. He just wishes that you'd take care of yourself too.

He'll help distract you when you're having trouble concentrating or start thinking about anything/everything, which usually has you helping him with his projects or talking to you about things that make you happy.

🔥RED SON🔥

He knows a little bit about it, but does his best to research the topic, seeing what options there are and offers some to you. If you want to do therapy, or maybe something like yoga, he'll support it, so long as it helps you.

He understands that when talking to others, you'll freeze up, or that you just have a hard time saying no/being assertive, so he'll step in and deals with anyone who's bothering you.

He's emotionally constipated, so it's a bit hard for him to open up and talk about his feelings, but he always makes it known that he's with you. That wherever you go and whatever you face, you'll do it together.

You tend to over think and strive for perfection, always stressing yourself out and blaming yourself when you think it's not good enough. He understands that feeling all to well and sits down with you, hoping to talk you into healthier options.

Omg I'm so sorry but he's the worst when it comes to helping at first. He's trying his best, but sometimes he makes it worse. You'd have to explain it to him and help him understand.

This is the one time he actually uses his laptop and searches up what he needs to do. He'll even look up ways to help ease your mind, like breathing techniques, yoga, etc. Stuff that'll help and allow you to take it at your own pace.

Literally hugs the reassurance into your body & head. Physical affection is something that he's all about, so whenever you feel that you're not good enough, he's got you in his arms, talking about how great you and your company is.

He sees that you try so hard to hide your anxiety, looking calm on the outside, but he starts to notice when you're uncomfortable, nervous, scared, and that's his cue to jump in and comfort/help you relax.

🌙MACAQUE🌙

He's literally there by your side in seconds should you ever need him. He's not the best when it comes to comforting others, but he's trying his best for you. And you try your best to comfort him, which makes him feel better for the rest of the day/night.

Having trouble sleeping is something you both deal with. Both of you having nightmares, too scared to wake the other up due to fear of being annoying. But if you're both awake, you'll just lay there, holding each other's hands, making small talk before falling back to sleep.

You both tend to dwell on negative thoughts and worst-case scenarios. Afraid that the other may leave and find someone else, that they may hate you one day. It's something that you both talk about, but that lingering fear always seems to stay.

Reassurance is something you both give daily. Whether it be through softly whisperer words, or through warm embraces, it's something that gives the both of you peace.

His head hurt.

The intense throbbing, the bright light source coming from the doorway-

He froze.

Doorway?

There wasn't supposed to a doorway-

"Rise and shine."

He was supposed to be-

The demon shot up, hissing in pain while backing away and bumping into a wall, trying to engage his tech...

Only to realize it wasn't there.

He was panicking.

The last thing he saw was that blasted Mayor before he was killed! Thrown into that blasted furnace.

And now, he's in some unknown location-

"Syntax! It's okay!"

Finally hearing that familiar voice made him look up, seeing you with a worried expression. He was surprised to see you, since you had suddenly vanished on them before...

"...What?"

He could feel himself calming down from that statement alone.

You were slow with your movements, trying not to make the situation worse. With raised hands to show that you meant no harm, you spoke, "Bone Demon chick is gone."

You moved back, sitting back in your chair and running a hand through your hair.

Silence took over, with Syntax calming himself a bit more before speaking up.

"...What about the others?"

You smiled, standing up and offering him a hand. He took it, groaning in pain with the sudden movement, opting to simply sit up instead. He could look at the new place later.

You noticed that he was trying to stand up, and you quickly moved to help him sit up first.

"Safe. Right now they're resting. It's been a busy day."

Of course, he had questions, and you answered the best you could. Explaining how Mk and his friends defeated Lady Bone Demon, that you found the furnace and managed to pull them out, albeit with a bit of luck. That you and the other spider demons had managed to find a place and set up camp while he stayed unconscious, concluding that him being in the furnace for the longest might have taken a lot of energy from him.

You leaned over, hand over your mouth as you whispered, "Don't tell the others that I said anything, but they were really worried about you."

You tilted your head, "What for?"

Syntax seemed to still at the information, but immediately chuckled afterwards.

Worried, huh?

Didn't sound like them at all...

But he wasn't going to lie that a part of him was...happy about that.

"...Thank you."

"...For not abandoning us."

A laugh passed your lips, "No way would I do that!"

You gently bumped shoulders with him, offering a caring smile, "We're in this together."

Even with the scoff that left him, the soft smile on his face said otherwise.

He liked the sound of that.

Giving compliments and praise to you is a lot easier for him. Whether it be praising you for destroying your enemies, when you complete a goal, or simple words of adoration, telling you how much he adores you. It's quite precious. "No one's as lovely as my Darling!" "Too bad you don't have someone as precious as my Beloved, for they are obviously the best partner!" "Tremble before my Love's powerful might, for you will not survive!"

When you compliment HIM, he'll be so egotistical about it. He's soaking up every single word! And when you talk about how much you love and appreciate him being in your life-You've got him feeling so good about himself! He's not used to getting so much love from someone. Usually, he'll be turned away from you, trying to hide his face as it grows more red with each word of praise and love.

Physical touch, on the other hand- (´⌒｀;) He's definitely not used to it, so it'll take a bit for him to adjust, but he's touched starved so he'll quickly get used to your affections. It'll start out with hand holding, followed by head on shoulder and arm wrapped around the other. Then it's full on hugs and kisses on the cheek from the both of you. Most of the time, y'all are seen holding hands and never being too far from the other.

Behind closed doors, where it's just you two, basking in each other's presence, he'll hold you closely, whispering how much you mean to him, how good you are to him. You truly make him feel so many things, and he always wants to repay you for the love and kindness you always give him. He truly hopes that his words and affection show you that. "You make me want to be a better person."

If anything, I feel like he's the opposite of Red Son. Physically, he's all on board. When you go to hug him, he'll wrap an arm around your waist. If you kiss his cheek, he'll tease you for another one. If he's ever working on something and you hug him from behind, he'll lean into your touch. If y'all are ever making an escape, he'll carry you bridal style. My dude literally has no shame in being physically affection with you.

When you go on to compliment him, he's absolutely thriving. Sharing how much you love and respect him makes him confident that he's doing excellent in this relationship! But when you look to him for words of affirmation, he's a bit stunned. With him, it sounds more like coworkers complimenting each other. "Good job." "You did well." "Good work today." Dude you're so cringe stooop-😭

I just think that for as tech savy and confident as he is in his inventions and plans, he's such a terribly flirt. Idk I might be the only one who thinks this- Spider Queen and the others step in to teach him, and he gets the hang of it to where it becomes MUCH more natural. It makes him feel good with how supportive you are of each other, and he feels like he's making it up to you with his excellent praise. Just don't bring up his old "compliments", cause he gets embarrassed and tries desperately to change the subject. By the end of it all, he'll have you in his arms, mocking his enemies and bragging about having you next to him and how amazing you are.

Absolutely! 👌🏽 I wrote this as a One-Shot. Hope you don't mind!

Being best friends with Syntax...was an experience.

A fun but unpredictable one.

Him, a smart scienctist that would throw insults and intricate words at someone. Using his creations to utterly destroy anyone in his path or get the info he needed.

While you, on the other hand, were...something else.

Though you looked like any other person, you had strength and speed that proved that you absolutely were not human.

Maybe, in a sense, he was curious about that. Why he decided to give you another glance.

You were a weird creature, potentially worth his time, but he was still unsure about you.

What WAS weird to not just him, but the others was that you LIKED spiders, and with the way they always crawled towards you and just chilled, they liked you too.

Spider Queen had immediately accepted you in the group and named you one of their own. You were cool with it, and it bewildered him.

When he not so subtly asked why you stuck with them, you simply told him that you felt like you had belonged, and that Spider Queen was the first person to ever accept you.

But it also wasn't long until they found out that you were a bit of an airhead. He chose to believe that was also a reason why you stayed, since no ordinary being with common sense would stay, and would choose to run away from them.

Instead, you would go around, checking up on everyone. Getting everyone to laugh and joke around. Hugging everyone.

You two were total opposites.

He truly believed that you'd never be friends.

And yet, somehow, despite your differences, the two of you became an excellent duo.

Him, planning out the strategies you would follow, and you, thrashing through the enemies and getting whatever needed to be done done.

He had to admit, the two of you had great synergy. It did help that you followed whatever he said.

No fighting back.

No arguing.

"You're super smart, so of course I have faith in your plan!"

...

You did what you were asked.

That's all he could ask for.

And right now, you had just returned from another one of those said missions, getting a specific item he needed for one of his creations.

You had passed by the others, saying your hellos before walking into the lab room. Oddly enough, it was empty, with no sign of the genius around.

"Syntax?"

No one answered back, so you moved forward, getting a glance at all the new things the scientist was building.

Looking at all of it made your respect for Syntax grow. Without him, a lot of stuff wouldn't have been possible.

"And here I was beginning to think that you weren't coming back."

He seemed to have returned from a mission of his own, what with his ruffled up hair and torn coat that he had just taken off.

"Of course I am! And I even got your doodad!"

"As always, you delivery," he sat down, pulling up to his desk and working right away.

You also sat down, rolling beside him and watching curiously. Syntax would never admit it out loud, but he enjoyed how you looked at his inventions and coding with wonder. Even after explaining it over and over, you were always so invested. That's why he decided to get another chair just for you. He'd never tell you that, but everyone else already knew.

You leaned your chin on his shoulder, eyeing the schematics on the screen, "So, what's it for?"

"Well, since you've been completing all the assignments given to you, I have decided to create something to help increase your chances of success."

Your eyes widened, shining at the thought of a gift just for you!

And it was made by your best friend!

"That sounds so cool!"

"Of course. It IS built by yours truly!"

He went to pose, but winced, rubbing his arm.

The bruise seemed bad, and it worried you, but he was already putting some type of medicine on it.

After a moment of silence, you huffed, "I wish I was smarter!"

Syntax halted, but quickly went back to typing, as if he had never stopped, "What for?"

"So I could help you with your whatchamacallit! Then you wouldn't have to do it all by yourself!"

He scoffed, finishing the last of his coding, "You already do your part well enough."

A smile covered your face, and your arms wrapped around his neck, "Aww, thanks Syn!"

"You're lucky I can stand you."

Though you couldn't see his face, you knew he wasn't really upset. If he was, he would have pushed you away like he did when you first met. But nowadays, he slowly relaxes into your touch.

You closed your eyes and chuckled at the thought.

Syntax, getting soft for you-

What a crazy but welcomed thought.

He didn't utter another word, and instead, began to assemble the pieces as you began to watch.

The peaceful silence consuming the room, the both of you enjoying each other's company.

You wouldn't have it any other way.

And neither would he.

Another note!

I write SPECIFICALLY for chubby readers, since-

I am a chubby girl myself and I can't find any x chubby reader fics from/for my fandom to save my life- (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ `)♡

Granted, some people may see it as a simple weight change, but for me, it's the feeling of REALLY being included in the story.

These lines from a bunch of fics I've read-"His shirt fit loosely on you", and "he wrapped his arms around your thin waist", "your small frame" or "He picked you up with ease", etc-don't fit me and I know I'm not the only one.

If a fic usually doesn't clarify that it has a chubby reader, then it's USUALLY a skinny or medium-sized person. I just wanna give me and my chubby fellas a chance, y'know? ┐(シ)┌

And please don't take this the wrong way & please don't think I'm attacking you if you write like this I swear I'm not! Everyone's allowed to write for whatever fandom they want and with whatever body type they wanna write for! I'm just stating that this blog is focused on specifically chubby/plus sized readers.

I write Platonic Readers! For example, if someone requests being just best friends with a certain character, or having a sibling dynamic with another character, then it's all good! 👌🏽

I also write for Yandere characters/situations! If the situation asked for IS uncomfortable to write, I have the right to deny it.

I also do genderbend! I don't see it done much, which is cool! But I'm a dumb little hoe so- ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Final thing! I also write for monsters! I write for skeletons and demon monkeys 😑 Basic stuff, like werewolves, vampires, mermaids/merman, hybrids, etc!

Fresh is parasitic monster that lacks emotions and jumps from different hosts so writing him romantically might be a bit of a problem.

Evil Nightmare searches for negative energy, as it's said that positive emotions make him weak. (╯︵╰)

I try my best to stay on track with how characters would canonically react, along with a dash of what I think they would do. But if there's enough asks, then I'll try my best to write them! ଘ(੭ ᐛ )♡
