🌸Pandora (OC) belongs to @imoonblaze 🌸Synth and trollstopia belong to Dreamworks
Hello again trollstopia fandom! It's been a few years since I didn't create more fanart related to trollstopia, but with the release of trolls 3 I'm very excited to return.
Today I show you a new OC, she is Pandora the harpy troll (troll tyto alba), she does not belong to a musical genre itself (or at least not yet while I continue developing it), she is someone calm, adventurous and curious who likes experimenting and trying something new, that means the one who doesn't like to get stuck with just one thing when he is acquiring tastes and preferences (musical and clothing), he likes shiny things and he likes to feel free while flying, Pandora is quite happy to know that there is a place known as trollstopia where different trolls from different clans live together.
I must say that when I designed hers in a previous design of hers she was a vampire and… her outfit suddenly gave me Freddy Krueger vibes… that's why I had to redesign her again until I felt satisfied with the result 😅

Rose Elinor Dougall Interview
Rose Elinor Dougall
'Stellular' is the culmination of the strange and hectic decade or so since the 19-year-old Rose jacked in college to go on tour with The Pipettes. Since she made the bold to go it alone, her musical trip has taken her from the introspective sounds of debut solo album 'Without Why' to performing as part of Mark Ronson's touring band on a never-ending world tour. Throughout her sublime latest release, Rose embraces her pop sensibilities, as well as reflecting herself and her friends, as they negotiate love, sex and living viscerally in modern London. In her honest clarity Rose Dougall has captured ten years of falling apart and picking herself up again explored in new ways of writing her way through the pop song… We talk to Rose about working from a limited sonic palette, being unapologetic and finding clarity…
TSH: How important was it for you to approach your record ‘Stellular’ with a newfound sense of ability and strength in your crafting process?
Rose: It was very important. Obviously there was quite a big gap in between putting out this record and the last one. In that time I went on tour with Mark Ronson and had quite few valuable musical experiences. I guess I wanted to try and find some kind of synthesis between the more insular indie and folky roots that I had and to do something bolder and more expansive. Also, pop music has always been a common thread in my sounds and I shunned that for quite a while, so I wanted to reconcile a strong pop melody within this record too. The main thrust of this record was to frame the couple of years I spent making the record, as well as living nocturnally in London and making sense of that.
TSH What was the thinking in working form a limited sonic palette this time around?
Rose: I think that comes from experience and musical education in a way. I guess there’s a tendency to overcook things, especially if youre making music in the box quite a lot. Sometimes having too much of a palette to choose from means you throw in too much, and I just wanted to find the essential meanings in the songs and hold on to as much space as I could so that there was nothing superfluous, and that it was all there for a reason.
TSH: Did you feel compelled to pen lyrics with a more unapologetic tone?
Rose: I guess so; I mean some of these songs are so old now. Had I written them in the last year, considering what’s been happening in the world, they’d probably lyrically be further in a frustrated direction. I just wanted to frame my personal ideas and not be too self-indulgent.
TSH: Was ‘Colour of Water’ the natural choice for the album opener?
Rose: Yeah, totally. That came together in one day in the studio. I remember saying to Oli, who produced the record that it felt so obvious as the first track – it simply had the feel of an opening.
TSH: What do you remember about forming ‘Hell and Back’?
Rose: That track actually started off as a simple little sweet song and then as we were recording it, I think we may have got a little drunk, ha! I think that lead to us throwing in more of a weird synth kind of soundscape in the middle. That one references and reminds me of if Julie London was singing on a sytnh record, that was the attitude behind it.
TSH: Furthermore, is your music still informed by non-musical factors?
Rose: Yeah, I mean there’s no way those things can’t seep into the music because you’re surrounded by various amazing influences on a daily basis. It’s our job to be a receiver to other people’s ideas and energy. I was actually reading a lot of Yates in the lead up to this record.
TSH: What’s pleased you most in the wake of this release?
Rose: I’m really pleased it came out, ha! I mean it’s quite hard to put a record out these days and I was blessed to have had so many helping hands, which was really nice. I’m just glad the record has reached people and that the risks I took seem to have paid off since the feedback I’ve received leads me to believe that the listeners really understand the record.
TSH: What gives you most clarity on a daily basis?
Rose: I’m finding it difficult to find much clarity lately, I’m not sure if there is much clarity to be found. I guess you have a few options really: you can feel completely overwhelmed and petrified of world events and let it stop you from doing anything at all, or you can be optimistic and try to make changes. I mean I’m not hugely optimistic whether the right voices can make the changes needed, but I’m still hopeful. We’re in for a rough few years, that’s for sure. For me, escaping London definitely helps me to free my cobwebs and touring with my lovely and talented band is always a feel-good factor.
TSH: As you look ahead, do you very much want to expand as a writer and player?
Rose: That sounds about right; you hit it on the head, ha! You know, I just want to make more records and get them out really. I definitely feel that my perspective is shifting in lieu of what’s happening in the world and I think I’ll try to be more incisive with my songwriting. We’ll see what happens.
