ik the two clancys theory is big but like the entire time I've just been getting mad dissociative vibes from the lore, and observing your own life as an outside force and watching a different version of urself doing things that are either outside of your control or that u can't even recognise as being you.

and this isn't just me having wishful thinking either, it became p explicitly clear to me that is what is happening when the lyrics to Navigating SPECIFICALLY say "Disassociate, I'm navigating, I'm navigating my head" like this is all pretty explicit to me.

also the fact the lore has always played with ideas relating to quantum superposition, and so if Clancy is experiencing his own life from a 4 dimensional quantum perspective, then he would be able to see himself at different points in a non linear experience of time.

AS WELL as this, the entire concept of a "cycle" is something that happens over and over again. could it not be he's experiencing vivid memories of previous "lives" from a third point perspective, and each time the cycle starts anew he has a different bishop, depending on what insecurity he is dealing with at any given time?

like I want to understand the clancy=/=tyler theory so bad but I feel like there are any number of explanations that to me, personally, make more sense than excluding tyler from his own personal story exploring his own mental health struggles.

hi. I’m Paige. I dislike tøp a lot. however, the main reason I hate them (but not the only reason) is because of the majority of their fans, “the clique”. if you are a fan of tøp and you respect the fact that they have made several damaging mistakes and aren’t a rude, unkind “clique member”, I have nothing against you and feel free to talk to/be friends with me if you wish.

The main things I dislike about tøp is that they’re racist, homophobic, ableist, and glorify mental illness. (I can provide sources if you need them) They encourage their fans to be the same way, and that really bothers me.

Another thing that bothers me is how it's always a "competition" between them and mcr. at least based on the people I'm around, I know many mcr fans who think top is cool, but maybe not their thing. many are like me, and dislike them for more social issues-based reasons, or their fans for the same reasons. on the other hand, I know (some, not all) top fans who make it seem like their band is only good if it replaces mcr in every way. a petty thing, but it bothers me when people make a "pop punk trinity" (fob, patd, top) because to me it erases everything that mcr strove for, which was, in a phrase, to be remembered.

anyways, that's just my two cents on top. however, everyone is entitled to their opinion so feel free to discuss with me, etc. as long as you don't send hate because of the things I've said or try to defend ableism, homophobia, racism, or the glorification of mental illness because no matter the circumstances that's not okay
