Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s charm is fading with the covid crisis. The deadly pan-demic and the failure to manage the crisis has tarnished the image of PM Modi. His popularity heavily relied on perception management and public relations.

The first month media narrative was on Tabligi Jamat, where Muslims made responsible for the covid spread in India,the next 3 months of media narrative was on an Indian Actor Sushant Singh’s death, then it was on perception building how Prime Minister Modi managed the crisis and how he helped other countries with Vaccine.

Modi’s crisis management was well appreciated in the first wave however the second wave has come under sharp criticism. Modi has traveled extensively around the world in a bid to strength-en diplomatic ties. Prior to the second wave his vaccine diplomacy was also considered a suc-cess until the world witness the manhandling of covid crisis.

Last month, BJP recently lost a vital election in West Bengal , held amid the COVID-19 surge. The party also failed to make a mark in the southern states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Many experts believe that the opposition has also failed to make Modi accountable for the misman-agement. Many experts believe , PM Modi can play a masterstroke before the elections in 2024.

When people are sharing the horror stories from hospital , country is struggling shortage of oxy-gen and beds , hundreds of workers are building the new parliament and PM Modi's residence, it is called Central Vista Project with a spend of 2 thousand crore. It would be better if Govern-ment directs all efforts in Covid Management. Amid all this crisis a workshop was organized for almost 300 IAS officers on ways to improve the image of the government's functioning at this particular stage.

The current political landscape of India lacks a strong opposition who can question the ruling government and PM Modi.

देश में अब तक 4291 कोरोना केस तबलीगी जमात से जुड़े

23 राज्यों से सामने आए तबलीगी जमात से जुड़े केस

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के सचिव लव अग्रवाल ने कोरोना वायरस से संबंधित अपडेट देने के लिए बुलाई गई प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में कहा कि अब तक का डेटा देखें तो देश में 1992 मरीज ठीक हो चुके हैं. उन्होंने बताया कि क्योर परसेंटेज 13.85 प्रतिशत है और कल से कुल 991 नए पॉजिटिव केस सामने आए हैं. इस तरह देश में कोरोना के कुल मरीजों की संख्या 14378 तक पहुंच चुकी है. पिछले 24 घंटों में 43 और लोगों की जान गई है. इस वजह से मौत का आंकड़ा 480 पर पहुंच गया है.

लव अग्रवाल ने कोरोना से हुई मौतों पर चर्चा करते हुए आगे कहा कि डेथ की जो डिटेल्स आई हैं, उसको हम एनलाइज करें तो हमारे देश में मोरटलिटी करीब 3.3 प्रतिशत पाई गई है. जिसमें अगर आयुवार विश्लेषण करें तो पाते हैं कि 0-45 साल के आयुवर्ग में 14.4 प्रतिशत लोगों की जान गई है. 45-60 आयुवर्ग में यह 10.3 प्रतिशत, 60-75 आयुवर्ग में 33.1 प्रतिशत, 75 साल से ऊपर के मरीजों में यह 42.2 प्रतिशत रहा है. यानी कि 75.3 मामलों में 60 से ज्यादा उम्र के लोगों की मौत हुई है.

संयुक्त स्वास्थ्य सचिव ने तबलीगी जमात की वजह से बढ़े मामलों की बात भी की. उन्होंने कहा कि आज हम लॉकडाउन और सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग की बात करते हैं. हर आदमी को सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का पालन करना है क्योंकि अगर किसी के घर में कोई बुजुर्ग है तो उनको इनफेक्शन पास होने का खतरा बढ़ जाता है. जो 14378 केस अब तक सामने आए हैं उनमें से 4291 यानी लगभग 29.8 प्रतिशत केस निजामुद्दीन मरकज क्लस्टर से सिंगल सोर्स से संबंधित पाए गए हैं.

लव अग्रवाल ने कहा कि इस वजह से 23 राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों से ऐसे केस सामने आए. मुख्यत: तमिलनाडु, दिल्ली, तेलंगाना, उत्तर प्रदेश और आंध्र प्रदेश जैसी हाई बर्डन स्टेट्स में इससे जुड़े मामले पाए गए. तमिलनाडु में 84 प्रतिशत केस, दिल्ली में 63 प्रतिशत, तेलंगाना में 79 फीसदी, यूपी में 59 प्रतिशत और आंध्र प्रदेश में 61 प्रतिशत केस तबलीगी जमात के इवेंट से जुड़े हुए हैं.

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि कुछ ऐसे राज्य भी हैं जहां कोरोना के केस कम थे लेकिन वहां भी जमात से जुड़े लोगों के मामले सामने आए. जैसे कि अरुणाचल प्रदेश में जो एक मामला आया वो इससे जुड़ा था. असम में 35 मामलों में से 32 केस यानी कि 91 प्रतिशत केस जमात से जुड़े थे. अंडमान में 12 में से 10 यानी की 83 प्रतिशत केस का भी यही लिंक पाया गया.

सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग की अहमियत बताते हुए उन्होंने आगे कहा, “यह बात इसलिए सामने लाई गई कि समझा जा सके कि सरकार की सलाह के अनुसार लॉकडाउन और सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग अगर कोई एक भी व्यक्ति पालन नहीं करता है तो उसके पालन ना करने से देश को किन हालातों से गुजरना पड़ता है. हम सबको मिलकर यह कोशिश करनी है कि हम सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग को लेकर दिए गए दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन करें. डिसीज मैनेज करने के लिए लॉकडाउन से संबंधित डूज और डोंट्स को फॉलो करें.”
