This has been a fun year so far!

Working on Lackadaisy, Tamberlane and Tabuley animations has been exceptionally rewarding and tons of fun!

Mel's hiring post. She's correct, but the next question people should ask her, does that include the budget expanding as well? The hiring alot of amazing students post concerns me also. While it is a good opportunity for students to get their foot in the industry and build up their portfolio, I guarantee you someone in Viv's production management team is abusing that to pay some artists less. The fact that Tabuley from a few days ago mentioned they haven't moved on from their "pay per second" model with Helluva's amount of detail is a huge red flag. To get an idea of how long they've been using it, it's the same model they used to pay artists on the Hazbin pilot.

All of this. Also, remember that the character designs have only gotten more detailed with time, that the pay hasn't increased to match, and that all the while, Vivzie's treating herself to expensive luxuries.

Are there any particular artists you can say have inspired you the most? Your art looks so unique, i genuinely cant think of anyone who has a style even vaguely similar

Goddddddddd okay. The obvious answer is Glopossum because her artwork is basically what cracked my egg. And also she's so very very good at, like, making positive porn, if that makes sense. Like she goes to really extensive lengths to put her porn in context and to respect the characters and such, and tbh a lot of her kinks don't really line up with mine but god damn is it cozy nonetheless.

So like, for character content and sentimental attachment, Glopossum for sure. For actually getting off? Shit dude, I dunno. Probably not Glopossum. But like there are so many artists that do such good good amazing porn, how the hell am I supposed to pick a favorite!!

Okay. Sorimori I haven't seen much recently because they bailed from tumblr and never update their furaffinity, but I remember them extremely well because they do really really cute and hot stuff. Copperroach on FA/Flowerdino on Twitter is a pretty recent follow, but they do some gorgeous porn. Stedilnik is just kinda fun, love their weird antics. Megumigoo is another one I remember from pre-2018 tumblr whose work is very very cute and very very fucking hot. I miss having Glacierclear on tumblr so fucking much. Phallusbro is really good, Wetchop is really good... Oh fuck, I'm forgetting Tabuley! Best damn furry smut animator in the business, frankly.

A 3 second animation for Astro Boy Reboot was posted on Twitter on December 23, 2019 by the user TabuleyAnim.

Tabuley worked on Astro Boy Reboot when visual development was mostly finished and the production companies were looking for distributors. Most of what Tabuley did were some animation tests, concepts and color keys to make the full pitch portfolio stronger in order to present Astro Boy Reboot to distributors.

The actual date of when the animation was made is unknown.

Tabuley knows what they're talking about. While the Glitch channel does make them revenue from youtube monetization, their other channel SMG4 probably makes way, way more. It's a meme and parody channel that looks like it's uploaded to more frequently. It's a bunch of pop culture stuff that's probably searched up more by general users compared to the rest of Glitch. That's why it's keeping them afloat.

Ahh, okay, I get what you're saying. Tabuley's tweets, the ones I saw, seemed to be implying the shows are run solely on merch sales as opposed to YouTube money + ad revenue + merch sales, and that's what I took issue with. But I think we're saying the same thing; that SMG4 was where they got the money to get the shows off the ground and to keep them alive.

I definitely think they needed something like Digital "Forbes Took Notice of This" Circus to come along.
