Someone who follows Christ has real joy, even at the worst of times. Godly marriages run a lot smoother than unGodly ones, but they are not problem free. Christ's presence makes a wonderful impact during the rough seasons of marriage. God said that floods (trials and tribulations) will beat against a man's house; however, if Jesus is the foundation, the house will stand (Matthew 7:25). The Enemy throws everything at Christian couples, including the "kitchen sink." Rejoicing in The Lord, always, CONFUSES The Devil (Philippians 4:4). This is not to suggest that Christian couples will NEVER be upset, frustrated, overwhelmed, sad, anxious, fighting despair, etc., nevertheless, they CLEARLY know that God will carry them through their storms.
