로터리 머신에 사용되는 모터는 크게 세가지로 나뉜다. 일반 dc모터: 라운드로 일반 자석이 붙어있고코일이 감긴 축에 전류가 통해 자력생성에 의해 n,s극의 생성에 의해 서로 밀어내기로 돌아가는 방식 (장점은 싸지만 발열이 발생하며 자석은 발열에 약하므로 발열시 모터의 힘이 줄어든다는 단점이 있다) 코어리스 dc모터 : 일반자석보다 훨씬 센 네오디움 자석을 사용하며 코어가 없고 일반 dc모터에 비해 구동시 발열이 거의 없고 힘 손실이 적다. (코어리스 모터인데 발열이 있다는건 모터에 부하가 심하게 걸리고 있다는 것이고 결국 모터는 사망하게 된다) {브러쉬는 5w이하에 사용되는 얇은 메탈 브러쉬와 5w이상에 사용되는 흑연브러쉬가 있다, 두께의 차이로 전류 전달 차이로 힘이 틀려지고 사용감에 의해 전류 전달 부분이 마모되므로 , 오래 사용한 모터는 소모품에 불과하다} 브러쉬리스 모터 : 전기가 통하게 연결되는 브러쉬가 없어서 전기 전달시 마모되는 부분이 없으므로 이론상 반영구적 사용이 가능하며 발열이 거의 없고 회전수 보정까지 된다. (일정이상의 전압에서만 구동가능) 모터는 1.5v용부터 3v용,6v용,9v용,12v용,18v용,24볼트용까지 구동 가능 범위 전압이 매우다양하다. 또 회전수와 힘이 모터 스펙마다 전부 틀리다. 평균적으로 12v용을 권장한다. 그 이유는 적정 전압이 높을수록 미세조정이 더 용이하기 때문이다. 3v용 7천 rpm 모터와 12v용 7천 rpm 모터는 같은 전압에서 회전수가 틀리다. 토크(힘) 또한 전부 틀리다. 머신을 만드는 회사들이나 빌더들은 거의 사양이 다른 모터들을 쓴다. 같은 회사의 모터를 써도 다른 모터를 사용하는 경우도 있다. 누가 3v를 쓰네,6v를 쓰네 하는건 모터의 스펙이 다르기 때문에 같은 모터를 쓰는 머신 사이에서만 의미가 있을 뿐이고, 모터에 대해서 잘 몰라서 하는 소리다. (저전압과 중전압,고전압으로 분류해야 맞다) 멕슨사의 dcx (12v용 14400rpm)을 제외하고 3~6볼트 사이에서 힘이 좋다고 하는 모터들은 전부 싸구려 깡통 모터이다. 사용 예:대부분 장난감 자동차에 사용됨 (저전압에서 높은 회전수가 나오는 좋은 모터들은 머신에 사용이 거의 어렵다) 모터는 소모품이다. 사용할수록 회전수의 변동폭이 생기게 된다. 중고로 나오는 로타리 머신이 사용감이 있다면 그 머신은 가격이 낮아야 하는게 기본이며 모터의 가격이 매우 싸거나 교체하기 쉽다라든지 모터의 상태가 머신의 가격에 반영되어야 한다. (단쿠빈은 처음에 싸구려 깡통모터를 썼지만 획기적인 구동시스템으로 그다지 문제가 되지 않았다) 로타리 머신을 구매하는데 만약 문의가 가능하다면 질문을 해보길 바란다. 모터가 무슨 모터입니까? 싸구려 깡통 모터 입니까? 일반 코어리스 입니까? 브러쉬리스 입니까? 싸구려 깡통 모터의 가격은 3-5천원에 불과하고 일반 코어리스는 3~7만원대 고사양 코어리스는 10-20만원대 브러쉬리스 모터는 13-23만원대 이다.(대량 기준) 싸구려 깡통 모터가 들어간 머신을 사서 그냥 막 쓰던지 좋은 모터가 들어간 머신을 사서 쓰던지는 사용자의 자유지만 , 제일 중요한것은 모터에 대해 알고 써야 한다는 것이다. One more down! This piece was commissioned by @piercings.by.sky (Insta name will be changing soon!) It's an upgraded/redesign of their prior Piercings By Sky branding, since they've started to also do tattoos! They wanted me to take their original character and give a fresh spin to it, and also slap in some new text to represent what they're going by professionally now! Tomorrow I'll be working out their business cards and a web banner for FB! This piece took me around an hour to sketch yesterday, and then roughly 5 hours to finish today, for a total of 6 hours. Not AS productive as a stream as yesterday, but still pretty good!
