kingdom thoughts that no one asked for: - i love how this show is basically all the boy groups fanboying over each other - so i was bored and watched the rest of the performances - sf9′s rendition of now or never (renamed jealous for kingdom and fits closer to the korean title 질렸어 -- which is where i suspect people got the idea the title track was called jealous) was SO good? it’s like, the one sf9 song i enjoy... but the concept and storyline of perfume was so good and the choreo was so elegant and nice. i’ll definitely be rewatching - ateez has been my fandom-in-law for a short period of time and i’ve only learned names thru osmosis. i like that they continued their theme of pirates/being at sea... it’s all very theatrical and makes me feel like i’m watching a muscial! i feel like ateez has sort of that,,, explosive energy (?) based on what i’ve heard/scene. seonghwa with that rifle was super cool,,,, also,,, did not expect that kraken (lmfao is that why everyone was so pressed about budget limits.... anyways mnet...never trust them 😂)  -ok also seonghwa’s eyebrows can end me??? - i really liked skz’s set a lot??? also i always appreciate them bringing in some horror elements, esp for a song like god’s menu.... like that’s a nice twist.  - also like???? so much of these performances are brought to life by the back dancers and i honestly would like to applaud each and every one of them because they really make everything come to life, and they are truly the unsung heroes of the music industry -ALSO why is ateez sitting on chairs..... ,,, please can we invest in a fucking couch for them???? they’ve been there on/off for 30 hours haven’t they 😭 - ikon’s stage was rly cool too!! i enjoyed the vibe changes as they changed up the song,,, the transition was super neat;;;;  -btob bringing in the emotional ballads.... we appreciate it,,,, i keep getting 2010s vibes. also YES to korean traditional instrumentals,,,,  - and last but not least my beloved,,, tbz.... no air but make it sad and fantasical. while i’m like not super entranced by GoT themes/stories, i’m very intrigued to see tbz’s spin on it (perhaps it’d be more fun if you get the easter egg references)... anyways the words i can use to describe this performance is 아련 and 애절함 that i cannot translate into english. but tbz commented on how much they spent on the emotional expressions & i think it especially shines through. hyunjae & chanhee’s part is just back-to-back emo hours ESP when chanhee sings “we’ll dance at the end of the world” SORRY but that hits different.... the POV aspects were interesting (aka y/n moments for all us delulu deobis) .... yeah  -also i think it’s been pointed out that kevin was not performing for the majority of the song,,, so i hope he’s ok? i don’t know if anyone ever found out as to why,,, but i hope he’s not srsly injured ;_;

i think it's an nct thing? it's why i never get tired of them bc they're always active in a way. you should've seen how things went down last year! march 127 album, april dream mini-album, may 127 repackage, june wayv album and the whole nct 2020 thing. it was a wild year. about the track, i listened to it once and forgot about it. might give it a few more listens but it might not grow on me at all. yes! wasn't a big fan of hot sauce at first too bc i thought the intro was weird (not jaemin's part, like the first thing that plays). and yes, that hook loops in my head 24/7. i even made it my instagram bio.
