hiiiii i started to stan tbz like 3 months ago but i don’t know a lot of deobi on tumblr who makes contents, do you have any recommendations ? thank uuuu.

oh hi hello ! welcome to the deobi fam <333 ! uhh i'll be honest >.< not too many content creators are super active for tbz rn... mostly bc they've been busy touring and stuff ! so there's not a lot of content to be had but ! here are some that i've seen in the tag lately and who make amazing content ! i would highly recommend :]] (most are multi but some are just tbz ccs if you’d like !)

i counted the asterisks and was like hmm its the same number as the letters in kevins name let me wait for jess’ next gifset and what do u know it was kevin (and jacob) winking at a camera the dots were asking to be connected at that point ahah and ur right about topaz;; it takes forEVER i hated it (vapoursynth the best time saver im glad for the switch) but the way i cant even sharpen as well as u do with topaz alkj ive also used those sharpening steps for whenever i felt lazy to run topaz (and also before i even had topaz) but it never comes out as well as ur gifs jess;;

hey anon! sorry for the late response omg i wanted to have enough free time to properly compile videos for you ! tbz have a lot of stuff but i’ll link you some of my favorites ^^ (+ a lil desc. so you can decide if you wanna watch !) 

flower snack - few days until debut ? fck it let’s open a restaurant ! ~ this is pretty typical of your predebut shows but i think you get to see a lot of tbz’s chemistry and teamwork esp early on and the cringey embarrassing moments that will be immortalized on the internet forever to haunt them LOL

THE 100 [ep. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24] - force 12 boyz into a house and tell them they’re doing a concert ! ~ this is my personal favorite ! the haknew in this *chef’s kiss* but also you get to see a big chunk of their more domestic side / daily life and get to learn about their personalities really well ! it’s a good mix of fun and sentimental i think :’) but you really get to see their individual talents better too ! 

come on ! the boyz  - idk how to describe this they just do dumb stuff <3  ~ probably the most digestible it’s also more like your average variety show where they play games and compete for a “prize” lmao this one is also very good at introducing their personalities i feel 

come on ! the boyz summer rpg - the boyz go on vacation ... kinda ?  ~ summer fun in the sun ! domestic tbz part 2 u.u they just have fun trying not to kill each other i mean to do stuff while on vacation together :p it’s funny (close 2nd fav *v*) also somewhat cheesy and feel good if you like that stuff :D 

tbz play mafia ! [ 1, 2, reveal vers., chase vers.] - tbz play mafia !  ~ this should really be called tbz kill chanhee first THEN play mafia ... okay but the first two are iconic but i personally love reveal era’s mafia game :,))) so many betrayals, -100 IQ plays, and chaos they bring me so much joy u.u i honestly recommend the whole the play series but it’s a lot so only if you wanna ^~^ ! 

generation z - “we wanna be honest in our voice” ~ the most iconic ! the identity film followed by each of the member interviews i feel is the most ... genuine ? or raw content on how tbz feel about themselves, their personalities, and insecurities >.< i think if anything it might be the most significant recommendation on this list ahhh ! ;-;/

hey anon ! welcome to deobi-land omg <3 hmm your guess is probably as good as mine rn honestly T-T think only a handful of blogs make stuff for tbz regularly and only post for them since a lot of deobis are multi ! and since a lot of us are pretty inactive recently >.< but ! i’ll try to give you a few off the top of my head that i’m familiar with ! :] (and some that i just have to include bc it’d feel wrong if i didn’t haha)

I have an extra account (tumblr temporarily suspended my account and thought it was hacked 🧍‍♀️) and I'm planning to make it as gif content account. Can you give me any advice and app / software / website recommendations before I fully make decision to do it?

hi anon ! oh sucks that tumblr suspended your other acct T-T but :0 ! i can try and offer some tips ? if you'd like ^^ i'm not really an authority or anything but ;;;; ! i'll put it all under the cut if you'd like !

gif-making

for gifs i use vapoursynth and photoshop cc 2018 ,,, i'll tell you what i always tell people when they ask about gif-making and it's that there really isn't an app on your phone or a website that will easily allow you to make nice gifs for this platform... so if you intend to make a gifs blog for tumblr :0 you definitely have to invest the time, effort, and patience to learn how to make nice gifs,,, and if you don't think that's smth you want to do that's okay too ! for me and every content creator i've gotten around to talking to, it's definitely a long and tedious process ;;;; all your local content creators spend a lot of time and care doing what they do ,,, if you'd still like to try i'd recommend this tutorial ! it's the first one i used to get started and covers all the basics ! the rest is from trial and error or learning,,, like i said it requires a lot of patience to learn how to use the programs necessary for gif-making... my other suggestion is to find gifmakers with content you like and ask them questions about what they do and how they do it ! for me ik i used to bother a lot of my cc friends about how to do stuff ^^ it definitely helps to have people walk you through some of the stuff rather than bang your head on a wall trying to figure stuff out for yourself (like i used to haha) and the other thing if i may add, it may seem like a lot of work for gifs posted to this website,,, but it's also the reason a lot of ccs have really nice gifs ! because these programs have been tried and tested and made for gifmaking for this platform ! so if you'd still like to ! don't be afraid to ask anyone or me more questions :0 !! i have a few tutorials here and there too about coloring mostly ... but yea ^^

other advice

about tumblr as a platform itself... idk if you've really noticed but there are many advantages and disadvantages to creating for tumblr sadly... the community here is more contained and smaller which is good for avoiding certain fan community drama but also means you have to be aware of others in the same space as you :0 ! i read a text post a while ago about how tumblr interactions are mostly networking and it really is ! if you want people to interact and reblog your content you have to be proactive ! joining fan community networks or using open network tags (for example #tbzinc for the boyz) means greater exposure for your works ! i use tags religiously too which i think helps ;;;;; of course again i can't pretend to be a super big blog who knows a lot of people or has a big following ;;;; but i have noticed that my experience on this site is 100% made by the people i've interacted with here ! so it's the cc friends who will reblog your stuff with nice comments who make creating worth it on here i think ! as well as sharing moments that makes me happie ^^ etc. etc. so my advice for navigating tumblr is to just have fun with it ! be nice and reblog other cc's works and reach out be a little more outgoing towards others in your fan community (always be careful tho of course of who you're interacting with ! read carrds and info etc.) and should make your time on tumblr more fun haha :]]
