(Not like time matters in the Abyss. No sun or moon or stars to chart something so whimsical - and a day there can be a millennia out here in Teyvat. Time is so unwieldy to contemplate sometimes.)

But looking at her ever-wise, ever-considerate companion, she knows saying yes or no would be concerning regardless. Tfw you’re trying to adjust your camera while going through your friend’s Serenitea Pot realm and it just turns into a Zhongli VR experience. One at the day. And one at night.)

liyue was... different from mondstatd. it was more closed off, with mountains and history hidden within ruins. and the scenery ... absolutely stunning. ah, if only she had a camera, she would photograph what she saw. or was it a ‘kamera’ now? how amusing, the similarities and yet differenced from her world and this. she wondered if she could write an aria for this strange feeling that welled up within her chest. how could she twist her words, as to not reveal her origins to listeners?

a songstress like her could easily do this, without fail.

now, to find some inspiration to do so. perhaps those ruins? comparing it to the ruins of her world?

MEI & RAIDEN: Imagine them meeting when Mei arrives at Inazuma, the Raiden Shogun and she meeting by accident and see how similar they are. People at first think that Mei is the Raiden Shogun but then they see the real Raiden Shogun and become confused. Ei must feel that Mei isn't a human and that she's a Herrscher (not give a name but feel the danger), so can you imagine the fight that might happen and then Ei transferring Mei into the Planes of Euthymia to meet her face-to-face to have The Talk or to fight more, but understand that it's pointless. I just want to have these two talk about their similarities and perhaps understand what's the deal with them being so similar. There is a possibility that Ei will see Mei as the enemy of eternity, but Mei will rationalize it as a the fact that if Ei will help her get out of this world, there will be problems with her pursuit of eternity.

MEI & VENTI: Venti also thinking that Mei is Baal, though? Only to understand shortly after that she is not Baal and that she is a completely different person because she can cook and actually works. Specifically, having the Adventurers' Guild call out Mei when Venti thought she was Baal, but also Venti as an Archon can certainly feel the difference between her hiding her Herrscher powers and him hiding his own powers as well. He knows she's not a part of Celestia but she is also VERY different to the Traveler. Imagine Venti tagging along with Mei on a mission to get to know her better and see if she is an aggressive force or not? Being a Herrscher makes her an enemy of humanity, so her energy must feel dangerous and different compared to Archons, so I'd love to see if he'll try to understand her existence and see if she's a friend or a foe?

   There was a soft blush present on her cheeks when Zhongli dipped down to press a kiss against her stomach。 There were times where Mukuro didn’t feel the best about her appearance, especially since the amount of weight she had gained since becoming pregnant。 So when there were moments like this, it eased her negative thoughts。

   「Thank you。。。」 Mukuro whispers, her hand moving to gently cup his face。

Zhongli’s mind drifted as he sat on his bed, wracked with thoughts of the ongoing war. How many more lives must he risk? How many more lives must he claim? The battle was nearing a stalemate, neither side willing to give in, not willing to budge an inch of territory. The enemy general Osial proved a worthy adversary.. and a stone wall in his plans of victory.

He turned to face his still-sleeping betrothed and he leaned forward to stroke her blonde hair. Ah yes.. one more reason worth fighting this battle: to keep her safe and out of harm’s way. Zhongli wouldn’t know what to do without Lumine by his side.

Feeling the bed shift and a hand stroking her hair caused Lumine to stir. Slowly, golden eyes blinked open to gaze at her future husband. The man looked every bit as elegant and poised as he always did. The woman didn't have to know him well to know that beyond that pristine visage, he was concerned. A lot rode on his shoulders. "What's wrong?" She asked, voice heavy and mumbled as she was only just waking.

“...what on earth?” she had no idea where the plush had come from, but the fact it bore a strange resemblance to the consultant made an eyebrow quirk; still, she did give the object a quick hug that soon became a far more prolonged embrace - hopefully no one got the wrong idea as she was rather keen to keep it.

I’m glad I’m at last approachable, even if there isnt much more to me than that;; I do still rly wanna write w ur zhongli, I’m doing quests/prep for taking on the rest of the liyue archon quest rn...its taken a long time bc my world level reached [highway  to the danger zone blasting in background] levels JUST as I was starting albedo’s character quest- the last thing I did before starting Liyue.

    “I have very right to worry about you, Mr. Zhongli.” Dropping a hand, Lumine gently cupped his cheek with her other hand. He was reckless. Not only with his finances but even in battle. A god he may have been but he still deserves someone to worry about him. After all, he was quite precious to her.

    “Please rely on me a little more. I’m not as fragile as I look.” Attempting to lighten the mood, her own smile pulled at her lips. “I greatly care about you and your wellbeing.” Attempting to find the right words was hard enough. But consoling a god who’d been through hell and back was far more of a challenge than she expected. Instead of saying another word, the traveler leaned up enough to place a kiss upon his cheek.

    She wanted to kiss him on his head but alas, she was far too short to do such a thing.
