This is based on nothing but vibes and the fact that Crosshair hasn’t actually been there for most of Omega’s development, and therefore hasn’t seen what a tiny little badass she’s turned into, but: unlike the other four guys, who have mostly settled into the idea that Omega is definitely a child and needs to be looked after in that regard, but that she’s also extremely capable and can handle herself pretty well, Crosshair would be a bit stuck in his own overdone version of “baby cannot be in any danger ever” mode for a while. Thoughts on Ozpin’s Past Lives

OK folks, a few thought on Ozpin’s past lives.  Well, one.

So let’s look at this guy, sometimes called dadpin, but also looking awful like some kind of techdad or startup guy.

This guy got me thinking, as did the others.  We have past lives that look like warriors and wizards, but this nerd?  This guy looks like an inventor.

Then I thought about the Cross Continental Transmit System.  Someone had to invent that.

Someone with a lot of knowledge.  Say, acquired over past lives.

So here’s my take - Ozpin helped make the CCT.  He’s probably the foundation to a lot more than we expected.
