What are some sweet things that alien sometimes do that makes marvus happy?

-He finds the clueless alien bit just generally funny in an endearing way. Its a little bit laughing at you but there is an ear to ear grin every time you ask him what something means or fumble socially. Keep an eye on him because at least 60% of the time his answers are gonna be bullshit to see if you’ll actually repeat anything he’s said

-Praise him sincerely and you’ll have him wrapped around your finger. Marvus has developed a pretty accurate bullshit detector over his years as a performer and he’s learned how to pick up on when someone’s just saying the right words to get something in return. Compliments without ulterior motives though, from someone who isn’t under a LOT of chucklevoodoo influence? It gets to him more than he’ll care to admit. Assuming you’ve got him in a quadrant you’re gonna find him repeating certain behaviors just to get that feedback loop going again. 

-Its not really a “sweet” thing but he likes when you get pissed. Again, trust issues. Someone who’s pissed off? They’re honest. And there’s the contradiction tangled in you, in that you weren’t raised on Alternia. Your anger probably isn’t gonna lead to anyone dying, or even getting maimed. Its weird to see, someone getting pissed off and then actually talk themselves through it instead of trying to cull the next motherfucker who looks at em wrong. This what rustbloods do when they’re pissed? dan.

-Quadrant specific: absolute sucker for small gestures of physical affection. Small pecks on his face, playing with a strand of his hair, he’ll tease you about being clingy but you notice he’s not exactly moving you off of him. Its intimate in a way that gets to him.-Falling asleep against him is another intimacy thing that gets him unexpectedly tender. The ultimate sign that you have completely let your guard down around him. There’s a small part of him that knows damn well you need a better judge of character, but somehow he can’t really find it in himself to say it to your face. He just lets you sleep until he doesn’t have a choice but to move again.
