Leon was already running towards home, hoping there’d be some leftover pizza left. He already was on a lead but Mikey’s words made him frown in confused manner as he hit the breaks.

“Wait wait wait, hold on. That’s not how it goes Michael. I mean in that logic I would have beaten Raph and Donnie several times in races and competitions” why didn’t he think of this tactics. All those humiliating lost games would have been avoided with this simple tactic.

“I really should use this-..” he pondered out loud, literally forgetting he was middle of a race.

           The rat was putting his weapon away before he even realized it. Despite the extensive internal debate, he knew the moment he laid eyes on the turtle that he wouldn’t be able to follow through with this mission.

No kids. That was his one rule, and included mere risk of kids being caught in the crossfire. Tony Vivaldi must have either assumed that mutant kids didn’t count, or he hadn’t realized the full details of the “giant turtles” that kept sabotaging his plans.

       “You and your accomplices are in over your heads” the rat said firmly, taking a few steps back and releasing the handle of his now sheathed katana.            “I would think that the last thing any mutant would want is more enemies than they already have.”

     at least it was a simple thing to answer. 

           “have you ever heard of the whole multiverse theory? it’s basically that, except for the fact that we rick’s and morty’s founded a place to venture to.” it was suppose to be a safe haven, but in recent years it’s been declining. rick’s only hoping that at some point the new president will really do his part to change it around.

    Without warning, a portal appeared and she leapt out of it, nearly tipping over before she managed to catch herself. In one of her hands, she held the Time Scepter ( as always ), but in the other, she held a rather large box. It was tied shut with a thin, green ribbon and obviously fragile, if the delicate way that Renet handled it counted for anything. Even after she waved the light she had jumped through away, she took a few moments to check to make sure that her package hadn’t been injured in any way during her travels.

    And then, once satisfied, she looked up and absolutely beamed at the turtle in her sights.

        ❝Mikey! Perfect! You’ll never believe what happened!❞ She took a few steps closer, tucking her scepter under her arm to emote better with one hand free. ❝I had to take a big test, right? And I was sure I was going to flop. But, surprise! I didn’t! I passed!❞

    She threw both of her arms into the air to emphasize her excitement but quickly fumbled to put them back down when her scepter clattered to the floor and the box in her grasp was tousled. Throwing a wary glance down to her feet to make sure the tool wasn’t broken, she gave a shrug before continuing. It was probably fine.

        ❝Anyway, I decided I was gonna celebrate! So I popped over the Fifth Caelum to pick up these babies!❞ Yanking the ribbon off, Renet opened the box to show that it was filled to the brim with pastries of some sort. ❝And, since my eyes were totally bigger than my stomach, I thought I should share with you guys. Since, y’know, you’ve... helped me out so much.❞
