Wanted to do a little bit of fan art featuring Archie from TOME!  Archie is a good boy and a talented ranger (despite what he tells you.) Seriously, check out TOME if you get a chance. Chris Niosi and his team made such a massive labor of love.

First design concept of College Drama Club AU Kirb/Zetto/Zeke. Not sure if I want to make Kirb and Zetto into two separate people like they are in TTA. With how things are going in the design department I just might have to.

That said it'll likely be Kirb/Chris and Zetto/Zeke as the two characters. Just for the sake of writing purposes because I don't know how I'd pull off referencing two separate people who are actually just one.

Character designs will pull from their character models more than their IRL counterparts since the original live action segments have been removed and most likely aren't considered canon anymore.

Currently I'm in the process of trying to relearn sketching, so my art is probably going to be a disaster for a bit.

TOMERPG Appreciation Week - Day Two - Favorite Dandy Alliance member

Ahh, the Dandy Alliance! The main five of the crew rebirthed into something even more amazing than before! It’s very difficult to choose just one favorite, so I’ll give pros of each one and decide at the bottom of this post.

ALPHA: A great companion with a great attitude! He’s always so cheerful and has some of the best attacks in the party.

FLAMEGIRL: The kind, yet sassy, leader of the alliance. She has always stuck to me as an elder sister archetype to any character that she’s friends with. She has great spread shots and is pretty strong against most enemies.

KIRBOPHER: The tutorial man, as I like to call him. He had something to input in the first battle that helped me out a LOT. His attacks are great, with spread shots and head on stuff too! Also his tone of voice makes him sound like a grumpy marshmalow.

NYLOCKE: The only lines that Nye has in the demo are his catchphrase and some words of appreciation, so I’ll go off the actual webseries for this one. Nye, to me, was always a character that made me laugh in the darkest of times. His moveset (In series, since his demo self doesn’t show off any attacks) is nice, with some AOE attacks and directional ones as well.

GAMESOFT: GS, to me, it’s just the purest of them all. She is so softspoken and kind that when I saw her, my face lit up with happiness. Since her moveset isn’t shown in the demo either, I’ll go off of her series self as well, Gamecrazed. GC/GS, in series, has a lot of great moves, ranging from an arm blade to shadowballs! They’re always kind to everyone they meet, and honestly come off as a really good person.

So, my favorite, you ask? It’s a tie between Gamesoft and Kirbopher, even if Flamegirl was a favorite out of the webseries.

In the early designing stages of a college drama club AU somewhat inspired by the college kirbalpha blog.

So far I have a rough first design idea for Alpha, though I still want to incorporate aspects of the RPG designs in as well as the 2011 designs and maybe a touch of TTA

Something that probably happens in my AU. For more context: Kirb and Zetto are separate people, twins to be specific. Kirbalpha is an eventually established relationship because I was inspired by all the ship teasing I've seen from the rpg.

TOMERPG Appreciation Week - Final Day - Draw or explain your TOMERPG OC you want to put in the game.

Where do I begin with this final entry? I had two characters I wish to be put into the game, but sadly, I missed the kickstarter deadline. Since I'm too lazy to draw them out, I will explain their appearances, powers, and the sorts.

MY FIRST CHARACTER:

My first character is a Humanoid Spellcaster Natural - Leru. Appearance wise, she's that of an average height with short platinum blonde hair. She has a very pale skin tone, and grey eyes. She wears a cream colored dress that takes the shape of a cloud, symbolizing her power. She can do a multitude of things with her clouds, branching off into both offense an defense. Her abilities are listed below:

Storm: Cause a storm, lowers speed to targeted enemy. Cloud Rider: Leru gains a boost in speed, but a drop in defense, as she hops onto her trusty mount, a flying nimbus. Cloud Gust: Send a cloud flying at an opponent, causes physical damage Cirrus: A spread attack that consists of a longer cloud, causes physical damage.

MY SECOND CHARACTER:

My second character is a Morphological Spellcaster Natural - Burroh. Burroh is a short, plant-like child, and he resembled a Burro's Tail succulent. His hair and skin are green, his hair a darker green with yellow spots, shaped to look like a small bunch of the pods on the plant, he has the same pod-like bunch on the bottom of his back, which are seen as tails. His eyes are black, and look like large ovals with no iris or whites. Clothing wise, he wears a green suit and matching pants. He is more of a support character, but has some physical attacks. His powers are listed below:

Burrow: Burroh digs into the ground for a turn, healing himself. Grow: A plant sprouts out of the ground, and depends on who it targets, can either deal damage, or raise defense, sacrificing his own. Flower: Burroh creates a pink flower that can heal an ally. Sprout: Burroh removes one of the pods from his hair and throws it at an enemy, dealing damage.

Well, those are the character I wished to be added into the RPG.

TOMERPG Appreciation Week - Day 6 - Favorite fight - against the Game Theorists, Dumplin & Puddin, or the Troublemakers.

H’oh boy, this is gonna be hard to choose. Let’s start by analyzing each fight.

THE THEORISTS

Matpat, Steph, Gaijin, and Robbie. The team of four that make up the theorists in this demo. They’re a tough team that can truly show off the mechanics of the game, as well as status effects, such at paralyzing, attack and defense up, and even resisting attacks as well. Mat and Steph are the real damage dealers in this fight in my opinion, while Gaijin and Robbie inflict status effects to themselves, or your own team. It’s a very interesting battle, but let’s move onto the next fight.

PUDDIN AND DUMPLIN

“C’MON SWEETHEART, DO IT FOR DADDYYYYYYYY”

is what you hear right before you enter the battle, and also it’s what you hear before the two take down almost half your health with a team attack. This battle introduces you to the team attack that Alpha and Flamegirl can do, AKA the Vulcan Rocket. This is the second large battle you get within the demo, too. It’s a very difficult battle, with the attacks that can do multiple hits in one turn, and even if you run out of mana. I can’t tell you how many times I had to revive Kirbopher because of those damn pizza slices. This fight tops the Theorists fight for sure, but there is still one more fight to look at.

THE TROUBLEMAKERS

Where the hell do I start with this one? Well, for one, it’ the last big fight you have within the demo, and it consists of Rockoon, Skeight, and Archy, three known characters from the online series. This fight also introduces us to the White Hat Hacker’s abilities, along with what the Black Hat Hackers can do. WHH’s ability allows Rockoon to be vunerabe to attacks, and from there, it’s all downhill with bombardments of attacks and the occasional campfire from Flamegirl. Alltogether, this elements within the fight make it into a very tough, and interesting battle.

So, what’s my favorite battle?

I have to say that The Troublemakers has to be my favorite, in all honesty. And in conclusion, I ask you, what’s YOUR favorite battle, if you have the demo or have watched videos online? Let me know in the comments if those are enabled!
