Natural Born Kissers Season 9 - Episode 25 | May 17, 1998 | Prod. 5F18 Simpsons World fucking sucks sometimes. I was trying to get a decent screen grab from the above scene and I have, at the moment, misplaced my DVD drive or else I’d do it from my season 9 DVD set. Call me crazy, watching commercials just so i can get to the part that lets me select 4:3 instead of 16:9, then I have to watch MORE commercials because the site doesn’t know I already watched them, then every time I move the cursor to try and jump ahead to the scene I have to watch MORE commercials. Then it decides to crash. Fuck this shit. Anyway, this is a better than average episode from season 9. Homer and Marge need to get their bones on in public places. Also they reference the song ROCK THE CASBAH over and over and then it plays over the credits. The Mike Skully era is marked by pointless musical callbacks playing over the closing credits. Like the music box music playing over episode #202. This has the line “OH IT’S A DONKEY!” which is one of the best jokes. THE B-SODE:

South Park: "Cartman's Mom Is a Dirty Slut" Season 1 - Episode 13 | February 25, 1998 Both of these episodes feature moms getting boned on hay. This was part one of a two-parter concerning Cartman’s parentage, which if you’ve ever seen the unaired Pilot you’d already know is a fat bald dude. I remember people actually giving a significant shit about this, to the point that I had to tell kids the answer at school who weren’t allowed to watch the show and had no hope of being able to. They famously did a prank where instead of the second part they aired a full-length Terrence and Phillip episode that we see promo’d in this episode. I remember loving the concept of the prank but feeling cold by the actual Terrence and Phillip episode. This episode features Halfy, one of the worst characters ever created. They repeated the gag in another episode (Halfy inserts himself into a conversation about having sex and another character reminds him that he doesn’t have legs) Another plot point involves the videotaping of Kenny’s death winning America’s Funniest Home Videos. I always wondered if the staff at AFHV ever actually got video tapes that involved gruesome unpleasantness such as, say, a child getting hit by a train. There must be multiple tiers of screening these videos in-house, and the first line of defense is a staffer (or staffers) who has to weed out tapes that need to be reported to the police.
