Maxim featuring Skin - Carmen Queasy 2000

Keith Andrew Palmer, better known by his stage name Maxim, is an English musician, known for being a vocalist of electronic music band the Prodigy (polls #8 and #112). In 2000, he released his debut solo studio album Hell's Kitchen, on which he collaborated with Skin from Skunk Anansie (poll #196) on the trip hop and UK garage song "Carmen Queasy", which remains his biggest solo success, peaking at number 33 on the UK Singles Chart in June that year. "Carmen Queasy" was written by Maxim, Skin and Alan Price, and samples "The House of the Rising Sun" by the Animals.

"Carmen Queasy" received a total of 53% yes votes.

The best word to describe Maxim’s downfall and debt to Alastor is “hubris”. He truly thought himself so untouchable that he walked straight into a bad deal, assuming he’d come out on top. Shame it didn’t work out the way he planned.
