I know it’s been many months since I posted the Sebastian Castellanos poll about his TEW1 and TEW2 face models, but still. Guys… Sebastian is Hispanic, not white. “Castellanos” is a Spanish last name. Either way, I like his TEW1 face more, I think they should’ve added more of a beard on his TEW1 model for TEW2 instead, but his face model change is not as bad or inconsistent as Resident Evil and Seb’s face looking completely different in TEW2 is the least of my concerns with that game.

I miss that twink from The Evil Within. When are we getting Evil Within 3…

Name a game franchise more cursed than The Evil Within. First game negatively reviewed. Second game more positively received (and I have feelings about that) but flopped financially. 2 also had a major shift in writing/directing and Shinji Mikami was no longer as involved in the project. Voice actors strike resulted in most of the important characters from the first game being completely absent. Lead artist left the company (multiple times?) and afaik wasn't involved as much if at all in 2. Threequel in a permanent state of speculation. Shinji Mikami leaving Tango. TEW3 has realistically been dead for years if it ever existed to begin with (and leaks suggested at one point it did.) But man, what a depressing end to a series that started with a great game and tons of potential. This series and its fandom were fumbled at every possible turn. Now we're left with the questions from TEW1 completely unanswered because of the direction TEW2 had to take and no hope of resolution for any of it. The Evil Within truly went out with a whimper.

[MY FAREWELL OF TEW DAYS]

For 6 years later, nothing to many the suggested of TEW community to time during on my TEW days. the end of my TEW days and them doing to the good a lot my some stuff even it memes is got liked it at everything, so has gonna can farewells in TEW page of last days but them no TEW3 is dead at 3 days ago yesterday and I feels sad. now this one until 2024 doing to, I miss TEW series 🥲

I've been reflecting on the situation for some time now... Corporate bullshit is nothing new, but I still didn't expect this turn of event (considering the success of HI-FI Rush, which wasn't colossal, BUT STILL). With all the rumors, I was hyped for the possibility of TEW3 or something related, and now it looks like the series is a hostage IP. It could be brought back by some other studio one day, but... I dunno. This whole situation is so wrong. I can only wish the dev teams all the best. 💔

At least TEW enjoyers still have each other so we can share amazing fan content to preserve the legacy. Thank you Tango for the unforgetible ride! 🧠✨

at the current moment, my favorite horror game has to be the evil within and specifically the first game! while I am currently playing tew2 as of right now, I found that i enjoyed the story telling of tew1 much more than the tew2. tew2 is still very fun though and I am really enjoying it so far! while I am a bit upset that joseph isn't in tew2, that 100% isn't a deal breaker and I would definitely recommend it!

i really hope that tew3 gets released at some point too even though the chances aren't looking too good 💔 (rip tango games 😢😢)

I'm back.

(spoilers for TEW2 and DLCs)

You get to hear the idea for my fic

And maybe a snippet if you're lucky.

So, at the end of the first game, Joseph is pulled away ALIVE. Then at the end of the second, you learn for sure that he IS alive.

But he knows what STEM is, right?

So MOBIUS won't let him go. And like MOBIUS employees, Joseph gets a chip in his brain. Something to control him.

But of course it isn't enough. For the three years Sebastian was out, Joseph is stuck in some kind of hospital. But it looks like beacon too.

The nose bleeds don't stop, neither does that sharp sound. It connected him to STEM, kept part of him inside.

And either Sebastian comes to save him.

Or he has to fight his way out

NODS VIGOROUSLY. I love the thought of if tew3 were to ever actually happen, Joseph being the main character who’s been trapped in stem this whole time - and I also love the idea of Sebastian just never being able to escape this insanity like every time he thinks it’s over he’s pulled right back in. His suffering is so comedically entertaining <3 Sebastian going back in to save Joseph and them fighting their way out together (maybe even Kidman and somehow lily went back in too??) The gangs all here 🌈
