(writing this down so I can actually remember to draw these out)

Offense Class

Scout = Earth Pony/Changeling Hybrid (Changeling Parts for RED resembles a Common Ladybug and for BLU resembles a Steelblue Ladybug)

Soldier = Earth Pony

Pyro = Reindeer (specializes in Pyromancy/Fire Magic which is very foreign and odd to Reindeer Culture) (Though Others Speculate that They Possibly Either Have Draconequus Ancestry or Are a Draconequus)

Defense Class

Engineer: Earth Pony (with Paint Horse/Pinto Pattern Similar to Sunburst or Troubleshoes)

Heavy: Earth Pony/Draft Horse (Appearance Wise is Like A Combo of Big Mac and Troubleshoes)

Demoman: Pegasus/Zebra Hybrid (Zegasus)

Support Class

Medic: Unicorn

Sniper: Earth Pony/Merpony (Raised by and Grew Up Around Griffins, Doesn't Learn About Being a Merpony Until He's Much Older)

Spy: Metamorphosed/Redeemed Changeling (RED Resembles a Red Jewel Bug while BLU Resembles a Blue Milkweed Beetle)

I've been into tf2 for over a year and my little pony since I was like 10 and somehow I only now realized that I like the main casts of those two things in very similar ways, and they're. Idk. Structured extremely similarly, being a close knit group of protagonists (one group being best friends, one being mercenary coworkers) who basically share the main character status equally (twilight is obviously the main main character of mlp but the other 5 are just as important on an episode to episode basis, and just as popular) and have easily recognizable and exaggerated personalities in the same way. All of the mercs and all of the main 6 are extremely distinct characters built largely to bounce off each other in funny and interesting ways, to be wildly different in aesthetic and mannerisms even within the confined settings of their stories. They're incredibly easy to ship with each other, with many fun dynamics existing within their canons, and even less obvious ships that people come up with still feel interesting and dynamic because of how strong their characters are. They're also incredibly easy to reinterpret, fem merc designs or blu team designs or even just headcanons constantly remix the recognizable traits of the mercs, and mlp redesigns and headcanons and reimaginings of characters are so popular I probably don't need to explain those. Anyway I fuckin love both of them and all the miscellaneous interpretations of the funny little ponies and funny little mercenaries :-) I don't have particularly strong headcanons or designs for any of the characters in either property so I delight in seeing different ones. TF2 BEDROOMS 🛏️

Spy

You’ll never see this bitch with a messy room, he deep cleans it every night just before showering. 100% uses bed mist and yankee candles. Sleeps in button up pajamas with matching pants. He has those silk sheets that he’s always used and cleans them every week. No MEALS will enter his room. He’d bring in things like cookies with coffee or a croissant with tea but nothing huge. His room smells heavenly compared to everyone else’s.

Sniper

It smells like smoke but there’s no fire, why. He definitely tries to keep a clean space but he’s always busy. He’ll do this thing where it gets really messy, like really messy and then he suddenly deep cleans it. Hasn’t washed his bedsheets in years tho. Dirty coffee cups are everywhere, the counter the bed the glovebox. He kinda just lives in his own little world, he would like to keep it clean if he had the time but again he’s a busy man.

Scout

Where do I even start. He has the most teenage boy bedroom ever-it’s like this bitch never grew out of his messy room phase. Crushed cans of Bonk everywhere, beanbag chair, posters of playboy models all over the wall, action figures, and a pile of dirty laundry just chilling in the corner. Does clean his room but it’s gonna take a LOT for him to be willing to do that. It smells like axe body spray and sweat.

Pyro

My little princess 💕 has the most Girlypop child bedroom ever. Literally never gets messy, the messiest you’ll find it is a pile of my little pony figurines on the floor. Even then they still clean it up, a princess cleans after themself. The only merc that has ever seen their room was scout, immediately shut the door when he saw pyro have a tea party with their plushies. Has never invited anyone over to his room but if they wanted to join in on a tea party they’d be so happy.

Medic

He doesn’t have a bedroom, all he has is his desk. Yeah he almost never sleeps but when he does it’s on his desk, probably the most comfortable thing he’s laid on in years. Like sniper, he tries to keep his area clean but is a busy guy. The most he’s ever decorated his desk is using his favorite mug that says ‘world’s best surgeon’ as a pencil cup. Which he bought himself.

I'm suffering from a burnout but I have decided, in the middle of mane 6 redesign that I'm gonna turn them into tf2 mercs!

Pinkie Pie - Demoman (imo fits better than pyro but I dont dislike that headcanon)

I have turned her into pegasus, it honestly fits her personality much better. Uses her mane to store bombs and is constantly either on a sugar rush or drunk.

Or both.

Rarity - Spy

My least favourite design but I like her cutie mark. Girlie loves her lipsticks

RD - Scout, duh

The quote "I am scout, rainbows make me cry" fits there the best. I gave her a lil more bold haircut.

AJ - Engie

I ship both Rarijack and Engiespy so it was a perfect fit - your local friendly farmer - engineer, which her cutie mark symbolises really well. Lost her hoof using cider making machine - ouch.

Twilight - Heavy

I know a lot of the people headcanon her as sniper but HEAR ME OUT. They both are smart. And Twilight was quite reserved at the begining of the series. I think it fits. Also her being an earth pony, I love it. She would still love science, etc, but would find her ways to fit into more scholar unicorn society without magic.

Fluttershy - Medic

No one will part this girlie with her pigeons. Usually quite shy unless someone mentions either animals or medicine. Also made her an unicorn. It would greatly help her in her exp... Ekhem, medical procedures.

And lastly

Spike - Pyro

He got this plushie from Twilight, how cute! Once he learned how to use fire, he never stopped.

Sorry for no upload yesterday, I had a longer work shift than normal and was exhausted. But here's the Best Pony: Rainbow Dash!

(oh wow, the person who loves the fast and egotistical tf2 merc also loves the fast and egotistical horse, who coulda guessed)

Don't know why I decided to separate the rainbow between her mane and tail but I think it looks cool. And while it might not look like it, her cutie mark wasn't just copied and pasted from the net, I had to draw that thing using a reference. I probably should've just copied it but I'm just built different apparently.

ANYWAY, young me loved her as a tomboy, present me still loved her as a more subdued tomboy who also loves pretty colors and dresses.

Yep, I fell back into the Cringe Pit and have started on Ponifying the TF2 Mercs!! Starting with Scout!

He's an Earth Pony/Changeling Hybrid (Scout's Ma is an Earth Pony while Spy is a Semi-Reformed Changeling) whose wings/beetle shell doesn't open up so he runs super fast to compensate

RED resembles a Common Ladybug while BLU resembles a Steelblue Ladybug!

he is now Rocket Rampage and as i said before hes a pegasus who cant fly with his wings so he uses rocket jumping instead and thats what his cutie mark represents. i plan on doing the other mercs too dont worry

after he gravel wars n everything all of the mercs had to try to fit back into society and as you all know pony society is all about love and friendship so they all have to surpress their bloodlust n shit. Ms. Pauling (or i guess whatever i decide her name to be in this universe) has to be the one to do that because literally who the fuck else is going to do that. also the mane 6 are also here because i said so

Rocket Rampage is friends with Fluttershy because he loves raccoons and i think fluttershy has an extra amount of trust towards those who take care of animals that a lot of ponies dont like (cus raccoons are often considered rabid or gross for their trash eating habits). plus i just think it would be funny because on the surface it does not seem like these two would have good chemistry but they actually bounce off of one another quite well. probably helps that they have both lived with super powerful beings before (soldier/Rocket Rampage with merasmus and fluttershy with discord)

also since rocket launchers n shit are (very obviously) not legal outside of the battlefield in equestria, he only uses his rocket jumper to get around after the gravel wars. it scares ponies at first but they get used to it quickly after they learn the rocket jumper cant actually hurt anyone
