Quan Yizhen was still bashing at Pei Ming wildly, his moves viciously aggressive without method. If it wasn’t for Pei Ming’s own skills, if it was anyone else who was taking this beating, their heads would’ve been covered in blood by now.

Like I imgined him just hitting Pei Ming with like a spoon or a book or smt, but also, who is Quan Yizhen again? I feel like he was mentioned before?? Am I missing smt? If it's spoilers for later plz don't say, but if he appeared previously plz tell me cuz I forgot

However, what he had never expected was after he closed the door and turned around, what appeared before him was a Hua Cheng with one leg up, stepping on a new donation box. His upper body was bare, and he was wiping at his sweat.

AND EVERYONE'S REACTION TO THAT WAS PRICELESS, ESPECIALLU SHI QINGXUAN AND FLUSTERED XIE LIAN

OK!!! EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE!!!! Shi Wudu did all that switching with Scholar He to protect his lil bro. Poor guy, but also poor Shi Qingxuan. Does that mean Shi Qingxuan took out all his spiritual energy? Since he knew he didn't rightfully ascend? is that even possible? Unless he lost it in some other way.... If the question isn't answered in the next few chaps, I'll go back to it again, also Xie Lian has extremely low (borderline non existent) spiritual energy. If he's currently ascended, why is it so low? CUZ he was banished??? I feel like I'm missing an important part of the spiritual energy lore lol. Can someone explain it to my confused self (unless it's spoilers then plz don't say)

And I guess there is still the Reverand that must be dealt with too, huh
