hm i’d say a fair chunk of the fandom at some point kept talking about how selfish luke is, or just clueless and dumb and only ever thought about music/put music above everything else. like yeah sure, music is one of the most important things to him, but so are his family and friends (julie included). it’s just that people seems to forget he’s a teen? a child?? he’s gonna be very clumsy with the way he expresses himself and sometimes forget to stop and thinking before reacting- which is absolutely normal for any human being let alone a 17 year old boy.

plus that kid isn’t dumb — he acts a certain way sometimes in front of his friends in front of julie to maybe act clueless or innocent just because he’s not ready or not willing to dump all the trauma he’s dealing with on them — just like him being excited about being a ghost and trying to hype up the boys with the fact that they can still play music! don’t think about death haha! but then we find out he was always visiting his parents??? and being miserable??? anyway??

I have answered here but I think you might like this one! It’s basically a Sirius suicide fic that he becomes a ghost & meets remus who is also a ghost. It is quite sad but a little hopeful. Also including a very rough unedited snippet of remus john lupin here to make us all sad as he does! This time as a ghost tho :)

There were times that being a ghost wasn’t so bad. When the wind came, and the trees only bowed the slightest bit and the light that cut through the leaves was golden rather than grey. It was those times that he propped his up his cane and leaned against the tall pine that stretched over the top of the gorge, feeling a moment of peace he would hold close to him on days when the snow came.

In winter, he would watch the birds and wonder how he might grow wings and fly away too. He tried slowly making his way to the top of the rocks to leap down to see if maybe he could take flight, but he always ended up tumbling back down.

He would have thought being a ghost would have cured his limp and stopped the pain, but when he held up his arm in the light, he saw the silvery scars from so many years ago against an arm that was so transparent, it was a wonder he existed at all. Too weak to leave, faint from lack of love, he haunted the canyon, limping across the rocks in the thick silence that was only broken by the sound of the wind and the whir of the wheels of the cars that sped on the highway above.

He wouldn’t have minded being a ghost if he weren’t the only one. He drifted; he flitted; he ached. He was the only thing in that canyon with a mouth that knew how to speak and as the years went by, even that faded.

Death, it seemed, was no different than life. Regardless of a whether he bore a heartbeat or not, Remus Lupin was impossibly alone.

1. i got a little matcha set for my birthday with a bowl and a whisk and such and i tried it for the first time today and it was so lovely 💕

2. a package i had been waiting for for literally a year (dont ask, getting kpop merch is hard sometimes) finally arrived today and i was so exciteddd

4. my sister is getting married and we’re gonna go wedding dress shopping at the end of the month so i’m excited for that like omg ive never done that before!! also despite my opinions on marriage i looove weddings and shes marrying a very very good guy

5. aldi produce section. listen im unemployed atm and i dont really have money to even buy my little coffees but i find the aldi produce section to be a very hopeful place. u never know when u find the next delicious orange or the best grapes of ur life. also theres cauliflower and its asparagus season in germany (a MAJORR event like its a huge thing) and strawberry season is around the corner too
