some vulnerable life updates 💛

I feel like these days I make these posts more than I actually post writing and I’m so sorry 😭

to keep a long story short, my life has been crazy. a very close relative of mine suffered from an overdose - the same thing that killed my sister - but luckily was able to survive. that being said, I’ve been taking a lot of my focus these days.

I have also been asked to leave my apartment by my landlord. luckily, I get to transition pretty swiftly from apartment A to B, but packing, cleaning, and spending the thousands of dollars required for the move has been placing a crazy toll on me.

thank you guys for always being so patient with me and this little mess I like to call a blog 🥲 luckily, my personal sobriety journey has been going amazingly, I have a regular job that will allow me time to write creatively during the day again, AND once my move is done, I get to decorate a brand new writing area.

time for a new chapter!! 💛 I feel like this poor blog has been a mess these last few years, but thank you for the people who still stick around. I don’t think I’ll ever abandon this blog, as it has such a special place in my heart. every day I wake up wanting to write and engage, but sometimes my heart is too broken to be in it fully, and I don’t feel like that’s fair to you guys 💔

I have been really absent on here and unable to write for a while due to life stuff and just not being in a good headspace. I'm fine just...my focus has had to narrow lately. I got deep back into stardew valley because I needed very much to Not Think About Stuff. But I think things are starting to get a little better..im getting into a new normal and taking better care of myself.

And, I woke up and wrote 3k, and I'm still writing and it seems like this sort of unconventional El/Bull fic I've played around with off and on for years might actually come together? So there's that!

Art trade for @funkii-fox Requested me to draw N'Doul! Been drawing him quite a lot, along with Geb. But no complaints, drawing the two of them is always a treat- Geb especially because I get to mess around with how to draw water-like effects! Forgive me for the delay and mild inactivity, life's been a disaster BUT I will definitely post JoJotober in some weeks so everybody will get to see characters I don't draw often, or new characters completely! Work is just kind of a Hell hole right now, so I'm trying my best. I want to be here, but after a bad day at work, I tend to not being able to string words together the way I want, and now I've been roped into working on Saturday, so that's a 6-Day work week. I appreciate all of your patience with me! <3

Anon, my darling, I am so happy you asked! I'm gonna be straight with you, work has been KICKING my ass so hard these past three weeks or so and this is the story I want to give my full and undivided attention to because I love it so much.

Chapter 7 has a full plan but I haven't started it yet. I've got some free time over the Christmas period where I hope to write it, and hope to share it really soon in the new year!

I'm so sorry for the wait, I hate that you guys are waiting for it - but I PROMISE it'll be worth the wait... this is the chapter we've all been waiting for if you catch my drift 😉
