Yesterday was not a particularly good day for me even if it started on a very high note!😞 Sometimes in life's journey things don't always turn out the way we expect them and you either fall into depression, pain and anger or you choose to crawl your way out of it. It's not an easy place to be i must tell you. For me, overcoming it is a process and one place in the Bible that helps me is this "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance. ✨THANKFUL, GRATEFUL, BLESSED. 💜I am full of gratitude and thanks in my heart to Almighty God for all He has done for me in the first quarter of the year. ⁉️Did I achieve all my goals I set? Nope. ⁉️Did I face challenges and setbacks? Yes. ⁉️Does it change my attitude or faith in God? Nope. 📣Why? Because in and out of season, I believe God and have faith that He will aways do much more than I can ever think or imagine. I also know that God’s timing is always perfect and so I keep digging deeper and wait for the appointed time. ✅So, I dressed up like the Queen I am and went to church @transformersng and danced with so much joy at the thanksgiving service because God is worthy of all my praise. 📌1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” 💛A new week beckons. O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. - Psalm 107:1. I am a woman full of gratitude and praise for all the Lord has done for me throughout the 1st half of the year. I am truly in awe of God’s Grace, Mercy and Love over me and all that concerns me. I used to be someone who worried and complained a lot because my life was not going the way I wanted. I was praying, serving and tithing but I was missing a very important ingredient in my life. Being thankful and grateful for what you already have opens doors for more things you want to come into your life. When I stopped complaining and started praising, I experienced a breakthrough in every area of my life. Storms and challenges will come to us all, but what matters the most is who we are holding on to and looking up to when they come. The first half of the year as been good to me and I am about to kick it another gear higher in the 2nd half of the year. What about you?
