Featured Deck design is inspired by the iconic Kit-Cat Clock, which has been around since the 1930s. “Our cat Lucyfur, with her sly, devilish personality, influences a lot of the designs we create, so we put our own spin on this classic image by adding sinister eyebrows, devil horns, a pointed tail, and a demonic grin. We initially sketched our design on graph paper and then digitally re-illustrated it using Adobe Illustrator. Inspired stories. They are the energy vitamins will all need when we need that extra boost of fire and grit to keep our momentum. I have days that I am feeling down and uninspired that I don’t want to inspire or encourage anyone online or offline. I have learnt to not wallow in that state for a long period because I know that others need me to be at my very best in order for them to be at their very best. I remember all the people who inspire me with their lives and I tell myself that even Jesus struggled some days to stay committed to His mission yet He always found a way to do His work and fulfill His purpose on earth. Reading about Jesus inspires me. Reading about Oprah’s stories inspires me. Reading about the Williams Sisters (Serena and Venus) inspires me to get up and show up. I want my story to inspire people. I want people to know that they are not alone in their struggles in life, but we are made stronger by them when we push through and overcome them. My life is an inspired story still unfolding and I want the journey to the last page to be one that keeps you fired up and moving with contagious energy towards your success and fulfilled destiny. I am EVOLVING WITH GRACE. I am refuse to be stagnant or stay on the same level. I am constantly stretching and growing and unveiling more layers of who I am and it is truly an adventure. At 42, I keep discovering parts of myself I didn’t know existed and I am also letting go of some part of me that are no longer serving me well. To evolve means to DEVELOP GRADUALLY. You don’t have to be in a hurry to become the next version of yourself. It just happens as you give yourself permission to BECOME. This is probably why I am so fascinated and obsessed with personal branding because when done right it, you can evolve with it and remain true to who you are. This is the beginning of the second half of the year and I have already evolved to a higher version of myself than when the year began so I am excited to see what comes next. I ran out of time to say the last bit, so here it is: You are an Overcomer. You are a Victor and You are Resilient. This is a test of your resolve and this too shall pass if you keep moving. Fail 7, Rise 8. Anytime you get to a tough juncture in your life, you have to resist the urge to bury your head in the sand and escape (flight mode). Instead switch to Fight Mode and grit your teeth to dig deeper to get out of the uncomfortable situation. You will beat this. Trust me, I am talking from experience.
