trying to find x male readers is so hard on this site..even the canonically gay male characters aren’t safe from the x fem reader tag
this + i specifically look for "x male reader" and then fem reader shit comes up 😭😭 its literally a constant struggle and so fucking annoying tbh

i am playing professor layton and the curious village on my ds. very fun!!!
I don't know if i'm very far in because most of the time spent in that game was me being confused and bad at puzzles. it's fun though.
!!! im glad to hear youre enjoying it!! its one of my fav titles and honestly such an underrated series, id love it if more ppl gave it a try!
the puzzles can be difficult but very rewarding!! i used to dread them as a kid but now i find them nice and challenging. the math ones are still hard, but if u speak to Flick at the cafe he'll give you chess puzzles which i think were my favorite ^_^

were you on a hiatus?
there were people here who used to make gordon-barney work i liked, and then they stopped because they either saw or were subjected to toxic fandom behavior from people who also like those two guys. it really soured things for me. still kinda does, tbh. but what can you do

i’m sure someone’s asked already but what are you using to make your game? i’m trying to get into making games currently and want to scout out some programs to use 8) love your work & keep on keepin’ on!!
hi! i'm using rpg maker 2003 for the game itself, and aseprite for sprites and tiles.
i feel like rm2k3 is a very easy program to work in once you get past the initial stage of getting familiar with the interface. there's a lot of tutorials on youtube, but here's a playlist of those that i watched myself: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCV8nmYoOi4Ga8xbJvqSo4XYA4M2SC7zh&si=jyocZnixOnmM1QW-
they're pretty short but they get straight to the point.
thank you! good luck with game making :)

the best feeling possibly ever is finding a blog which literally gives you all the content you've never realised you've been searching your whole life for <3
shoutout to @artsygreeen for giving me said content (been searching for 3 idiots stuff for YEARS without even realising it, i bow down to you)

question!
i've been wanting to stray away from lu for a while now and do my own thing with wars n ledge and the rest of the links (mainly bc i feel restricted by jojo's rules/don't agree w her takes, and wanna pursuit my own stuff), but there's one big thing holding me back, and that's lack of views to put it bluntly
if i make my own au and don't tag its content as #lu, then it will most definitely get a fraction of the attention my lu content does. and i know it sounds self-centered of me to worry abt something like that, but i put months of work into the fics i post. i put days of work into each art piece i post. if i work on something for months and then 10 people on ao3 read it and an astounding 0 of them even leave a comment, that will be Devastating to my motivation And confidence
what im asking y'all is this: should i finally make my own au to separate myself from lu and risk the plunge in notes, or should i stay in the lu fandom and suffer?

the most frustrating thing about neurodivergence is that i work really hard to combat it, right? i set up systems and i set myself up for success by being proactive and taking the human element (me) out of it as much as possible. i do meal planning for the month and grocery pickups and scheduled laundry days and autopay to make my life function. not even easier, just functioning! but it's other systems that fuck me up.
my health insurance updated their autopay website to be "better" (it does the same damn things) and now my payment is late because they messed up moving accounts over so now i have to drop what i'm doing to sign up for my third account with them and set up my autopay again and i just. i don't have the energy for this. it's such a small thing but it's always the small things that tip me over. and this not getting done has real consequences for me but them messing with my systems over and over and making me jump through hoops has no consequences for them.

people who make mood boards, where do you find pics and stuff to put on the mood board? like generic things but also if you want something specific? and like screen caps of characters or actors, how do you get those? are there specific places you go or is just like internet searching? also do you use any specific programs? I would like to learn but can't seem to find the information.
