Do u know if Morro has a canon age? I’ve been making her (my Morro is trans) 14 in my fanfics because I just want to draw parallels with Lloyd about having too much pressure put on them as kids, but I realized that a lot of ppl hc him (the canon Morro) as like 19? And like you’re the emo wind boy expert so I thought I’d ask you :)

(I'm gonna use he/him prns just cuz I'm used to that, but that doesn't make your hc any less valid!) I don't believe he has a said canon age, but given the context clues, I believe he's around 15/16. We know he came to Wu at a relatively young age (my guess is around 7 or 8) and stayed with him for a while, but he couldn't've been THAT old when he left. He probably left around 13, 14, or 15, and died around 15 or 16. His voice doesn't sound like a 13 or 14yo (I have a 14yo brother, I can attest lol), but he doesn't really sound super mature in the actual plot of the season (he's kinda whiny and has a one-track mind), so that's why I peg him at around 15 or 16

This is just my speculation about his canon age though, so feel free to hc him as any age you want! (This goes for everyone else reading this, too!) I can see him as a bunch of different ages, and different ages allow for different ff plots and POVs.

Side note: if you're looking for another parallel between Lloyd & Morro, age is a good one. Lloyd was forced to grow up super fast because of the magic tea, and Morro was probably held back by his teenage body (and maybe mindset) for so long because of being a ghost (he's like, super old, but he looks teenage because he died as a teenager)

Years ago I came up with an ATLA fic idea for the earth avatar after korra and it was kinda good but I stopped caring about it. as I developed the plot and transformed my initial (flawed) idea, I got less interested in it because it was no longer the same idea. I basically wanted to write Trope A, didn't like that it was such a bad rendition of Trope A, fixed it, and got bored cause it wasn't Trope A anymore. I absolutely don't have the time (or desire) to go write it now (especially with avatar studios coming in hot with a new avatar), but damn I hope an alternate universe-me wrote it.

Idk about anyone else’s experiences but I never dreamed of marrying or holding hands with a guy even as a kid, like??? The thought disgusted me as a child. When I was 11, I was making my Barbie dolls lay on top of each other and also the first time I pictured my teacher topless I felt so horrified and disgusted I literally shut down and a few years later identified as asexual so! That’s my lesbian experience! A lot of guilt and shame, but I never imagined myself with a male character or anything like that even despite it all.

I get some lesbians try to overcorrect and force themselves into a hetero relationship or life, but also I don’t think a woman who pictures a life with a man and has crushes on male celebrities or characters is a lesbian. Idk! Don’t want to gatekeep but I do not relate at ALL to women who are attracted to any man - real or fictional.

i never fantasised about doing that w real or fictional guys but i did TRY to make myself visualise & fantasise about these things but it would just.. never work out how its intended. id just fantasise about a woman in a wedding dress who looks nothing like me (and would imagine her in detail w a clear face n everything) and then like. the man would be in the background like this

if i tried to make myself imagine an actual man (which i did try doing as a teenager bc i was starting to wonder why i could never actually imagine a man), i would just imagine shit like this:

Stepping away from his group of friends one guy decided to take his chances once Kisara was finally alone watching the fish swim about in the Aquarium waiting for her father to return with a Whale Shark Ice Cream.

After introducing himself amd offering a bit of flattery he quickly went on to invite her to join him and his friends, which was quickly turned down. Not willing to give up he moved closer one hand leaning against the wall beside the Aquarium.

Obvious fic will be obvious to anyone reading along but for a general summary that will make zero sense to everyone else:

After finally getting away from one horrible little island, the group crash land at a second, equally horrible little island. Someone gets impaled. Several arguments break out between various characters. There’s a Twist. Willy Wonka is here, probably. I love pairings involving divorcees that have never been married, apparently. There are so many homeless, orphaned children. Everyone is still stuck on a boat. No one is getting laid, but they fucking wish they were.

...... Christmas hallmark movie divorce AU...(my beloved)

For anyone that happens to be reading this that doesn’t know about the existence of this AU and would like to know more, here’s the basic premise:

Pinocchio & Lampwick (aka...........August & Romeo.) have been married and recently divorced, for reasons (relating partly to Geppetto’s/Marco’s death & also the Blue Fairy sticking her oar in, (amongst other things)). Lampwick’s sister dies and Lampwick is the one that ends up adopting her toddler, Renata. But...it’s not easy, and Pinocchio (who Renata is already familiar with and is very fond of) offers to babysit her once (1 time) and then that turns into 2 times and 3 times and eventually it becomes a regular thing.

Lampwick works as a bartender, alongside Lizard. Pinocchio is a freelance writer. Robin is also here with Roland and is SO tired of hearing Lampwick bitch (affectionately) about Pinocchio. Captain Nemo is a counselor. Also, it’s Christmas Time, I guess. 🎄

However, if I were to ever write a fic that had nothing to do with any of this (an AU that may or may not receive a single paragraph’s worth of actual writing) I’d definitely go for a halloween fic. Right now, I’m literally only physically capable of writing OUAT fanfic and Once is just the perfect show for a goofy little halloween fic.

My fic is too niche to garner any large following but the readers that I do have are just... !!!!!! 💕 I’m so incredibly grateful. The honest answer is @naivesilver your double comment on ‘mess is mine’ is still something I go back and re-read sometimes and it makes me go !!!!! 💗💗💗 every single time. I treasure it a lot.

📚 What grammar mistakes do you always make?

urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr all sorts, probably. I know that sometimes I miss out words and then my brain fills in the blank space and so THAT can be a mess sometimes. It doesn’t matter how many times I proof read my fic, there WILL be mistakes. But..............oh well.

Also, less in my final writing and more in my first drafts/general writing without auto-correct, I tend to misspell words with double letters in (case and point, I literally JUST NOW wrote ‘misspell’ as ‘mispell’.) My brain just goes “No, that’s too many letters” and then nothing looks right, even if it IS spelled correctly, and I have no idea what’s going on, help.

and going on about that, i don't think the comic changes at all she was trained from childhood to be the perfect assassin in every possible way. she prefers close combat, but she can shoot well (see the commentary about using a bow to take down the king). she learned to identify poisons, their antidotes, 'built her resistance to it'. she learned stealth, but she also learned to disguise herself and blend into wherever her target may be, and that also included languages. and that's not like 'from the moment she was a teenager', it's from when she was a literal child. her bio says she was taught to use daggers from the moment she was old enough to hold them, and while i do think the difficulty of whatever she was being taught was somewhat adapted to what she'd be able to do at a certain age, it still stands she was made to be an assassin her entire life.
