The Bad Ending/The Final Bloom

Here's a scrapped idea from the Wolfwood Plant AU- the idea that the reason an Independent grows so fast is because they essentially 'consume' the mother plant within 8 hours of being conceived. Hence, why Vash has always avoided intimate relationships with anyone( he wasn't explicitly told what would happen, only had an instinct that it was very dangerous). Mild gore/ implied mpreg below kinda? Idk lol
