Why I made this account: This used to be my art tumblr until I moved it to a separate blog . Now, this tumblr is where I post things that inspire me to make stories and paintings (the poetry and myth side of tumblr is just amazing). This blog also sorta became the place where I can express a side of me I don’t really show in real life because I am hella shy >.<

Reasons for url: It’s from Genus Archerontia  which has 3 moth species  (atropos, styx and lachesis)  and under it which are known as the “Death Head Moths” because of skull like markings on their backs. I made a story that has something to do with that. It’s about a group of people that are different personifications of death, who debate over their roles.

“You came,” he said, his voice calm but clear. 

Hyacinthus tried to smile playfully, though he felt it was more of a frown.

“You stopped calling for a while. I was starting to think you didn’t want to see me anymore,” he joked, reaching his side. Apollo’s eyes ran over his face, from his eyebrows down to his lips, still observing him. Hyacinthus leaned in closer, as though to help him find whatever it was he was looking for.

Apollo’s gaze returned to Hyacinthus’ eyes, like he had found it.

He shook his head. 

“I wanted to give you time to say goodbye.” His smile was small, almost tired.

these are all just my own headcanons about him. definitely call him a brat in a loving way because i characterize him as not really being used to things not going the way he wants them to go. like no matter what happened, he always expected fate to twist in his favor, for people to bend to his will. he is still a very kind person who deeply cares about the people he loves, but he is aware that he is seen as the perfect prince, the perfect son, the perfect brother, and he will use that to his advantage if necessary. idk i think it makes him more interesting.

other than i that i think he is very lively, he laughs and smiles a lot, and he likes to prod people into teaching him stuff, its his way of bonding with others. overall a person with a huge capacity to love and connect with people while also convincing himself that ✨manipulation is okay✨ sometimes
