Can we just talk about the ending of KawoShin open discuss. *sort of spoilerish*

I feel like I’m the only one who’s like reallly disappointed LMFAO--ya’ll there’s so much “canon” alternative universe and merchandise for Kawoshin in Evangelion that it kind of makes me upset to realise this couple just went down the drain. Yeah, I can see how people were like, “Kaworu’s toxic” or “Kaworu has a hero complex for Shinji” to which I say are valid points. But the toxic thing I feel like can also be applied to pretty much everyone around Shinji tbh, except for Rei. I did NOT, like Asuka at all but I really love her character though, and I felt for her a lot throughout the series.

I did not ship them either because honestly, Shinji and Asuka seemed better off playing the sibling dynamic instead of trying to play bf/gf which honestly is kind of forced by their living situation. Also since they’re in a similar disposition non existent father and dead mother, you’d imagine they would rely on each other for emotional comfort. Though Asuka—her personality I feel like she can’t differentiate between familial love and romantic love and the affection she wants is a bit of both. But, her character tries to be “mature”; she wants romantic love more and does this through sexual means and romantic gestures e.g. like kissing. One of my friends told me that you can’t stay friends as a boy and a girl cause eventually you catch feelings. Which I say is kinda dumb cause I have a lot of male friends, and I definitely don’t harbour those feelings, but I guess it’s a common phenomena.

I think this is what happens in this case, of Asuka and Shinji. Even after rejection of instrumentality they actually are depicted as childhood friends. But knowing how they both were before to each other, it was not good tbh. Also to mention the choking like thrice— bro if anything, this showcases a really abusive relationship and I think this outstretches the idea of their character tropes. Which I firmly stand by saying they’re superficial to each other. AsuShin were never really there for each other and are using each other in a forced situation. However, you can’t deny that they didn’t at some point catch feels, also Shinji is pretty consistent how he still cares about everyone around him. Which I really like how they add that to his character because it reminiscent of Yui, because you see a duality of both his parents personality in Shinji throughout the series—it’s a really nice touch. But bruh, if we gonna talk about that coma scene—I’m out LOL.

Thoughhhh, she is a true definition of best girl I really like her arc, fighting drive, and her skills as an Eva pilot 😭💗--but bruh she’s still a toxic and sometimes annoying tsundere trope, but still she’s 14 what can you do. So I feel like Kensuke and Asuka are actually a pretty good combo, cause he’s always been pretty mature even without parents. Also Asuka was into older guys, so I guess this is a win win?? Also Rei and Shinji, I honestly cannot get my head around it cause that’s pretty much his mom—so in a way that’s like either his half-sister or mom-ish clone?? Idk but Yui is definitely the donor LOL.

Kaworu and Shinji I felt like brought a bunch of things out of each other. I don’t know which timeline begins first, but I’d like to think the manga, the anime (plus its movies), and then to the rebuild series. Because I think that order is kind of pivotal to observing Kaworu’s character development from being a person who’s trying to understand human feelings to then the kinder person we see in the final series. You can tell how he’s changed and he knows Shinji a lot more as well as being considerate to him e.g. giving him personal space or letting him work at his own pace. Also that “we’ll meet again.” Is an obvious nod to how he’s done this before.

His literal story in every timeline is always romantic LOL, like bruh I can’t remember which game it was but basically a bad ending of Kawoshin route is that you reject Kaworu and he starts the third impact 🤡. Also I don’t know why but I started to see a weird dynamic between those two, in the manga their interactions reminded me of Asuka and Shinji—which Shinji is the tsundere Asuka here. I don’t know if this is relevant but the older character relative to the character they’re with seems to play off a mature vs a childish person trope. Asuka is younger than Shinji and Shinji is actually younger than Kaworu. Then again I could be overseeing this but istg manga Kaworu and Shinji mirror the whole Asushin dynamic. Like he’s seriously agressive against Kaworu, then after killing him he admits liking him. 🤡 I don’t know which is funnier no homo Shinji, homophobe shinji, or just closet Shinji who needs to realise sexuality is a spectrum so he could’ve idk—come out as bisexual, but whatever manga Shinji lol that timeline is over.

Anyways the development of these two is real and I think the rebuild timeline shows them at their best bringing their own personage out from each other like how they both enjoy music together--WHICH I’M SO SAD WE NEVER GET TO SEE THAT CELLO AGAIN. Then there’s those feelings of humanity, love, kindness, etc. Which yeah an angel could represent those things, but Kaworu is still his own person, self-aware of a cycle and if you think about how he initially was there to USE Shinji, but ultimately turned on that plan set by SEELE because he loved Shinji (and a bunch of other things like him showing Kaworu humanity). I also can see the argument, how “ideal” Kaworu is to Shinji, but he’s more self aware of the time he has before he KNOWS he’ll die and knows how to act for himself in that duration to make the most of it. All with Shinji. At some point, I think he fell in love with Shinji tho I don’t know where it began tbh—considering that all those alternate universes do exist. Kaworu does romantically love Shinji--so, in some universe they both reciprocate their feelings to each other. 

In the last movie during that convo with Shinji. Like bREH it’s so emotionally moving because Kaworu remembers ALLLLL the timelines and how he’s been with Shinji and later Shinji himself recalls the events too. Where they show the scene from the manga and anime. Kaworu cries after being set free from the EVA cycle. Which, I definitely understood what he meant by him saying “it’ll be lonely” and how Shinji changed or that he’s actually different this time.

Either way, Shinji did right by him because it’s always Kaworu who has the purpose of “trying to save Shinji” but it always ends up the same. I thought that was really moving because Shinji tells Kaworu he’s gonna let him live a life for himself for once and he wants the same for everyone as well. Which was honestly so meaningful cause I think Kaworu’s character and like Rei too when they start to realise how to “live” like a person and not another puppet it’s truly liberating. Another thing I forgot, bruh Kaworu calls Gendo his father and ngl I feel like this is kind of a weird lore situation because I for sure don’t think he’s the donor. I think he calls him that as an insult because he knows Gendo’s whole doing and relative to Shinji—I kind of see it as a joke LOL. Like it’s equivalent to saying, “daddy chill”, or “hey look it’s daddy and his plans to end the world” also I kind of like to think of it as a father in law thing cause you know, Kawoshin *winks amirite*

The ending, I’m honestly hoping is just an open ending because it gives everything an actual start of their adult lives not being dictated by extraterrestrial forces. Though, I’m kind of wondering if the world doesn’t have EVAs does that still mean everyone else still has the same backstory, and do they remember? Maybe Mari really is just a coworker lmfao, and there’s still a chance for Kaworu and Shinji cause ngl, they did have a convo (presumably from the spoilers) about still remaining close afterwards and that stare at the ending seems very hopeful.

I call bs from Anno saying, “oh Shinji is based off him and Mari off of his wife”, like honestly any OCs made theres always some part of yourself made into that character. Which is probably why a lot of people relate to the characters in EVA because they’re based off real things (e.g. those war machines characters are named after and people around them). I think why Kaworu and Rei are together at the end, is bc they’re very much the same. They’re mass produced dolls—which oddly enough that’s the case for all the children except they don’t recall the loop. Kind of funny also how both Kaworu and Rei became farmers lmfao so ig it runs in the family (yes that’s right I like the idea that they’re siblings it was always noted that they’re like “the same”).

Another thing, i think why the rebuild really did well for Kawoshin and in my opinion canonised it—the convo with elder Ryoji Kaji (Misato’s baby daddy) that there was a time he felt incredibly lonely and depressed thinking Misato didn’t love him and so he started looking out for himself. So self love and found himself a hobby in farming which he suggests to Kaworu—basically saying he might feel like Shinji doesn’t love him but he’s gotta remember to take care of himself. if I go thru a breakup ill feel like it’s the end of the world but Kaji says y’a gotta self love broe and take care yo self gad dam fam 😭 💗.

Though, that look at the end from Shinji to Kaworu—I’d like to believe there is still hope that one day when they’re a bit stable in their adult lives, they’ll run into each other.

Gonna answer a questionnaire that I saw @koalateamusings do 1 million years ago cuz its REAL RDR HOURS and I also tag @honeyjaws to do it after!! Here’s a Q&A about Violet and Kieran lmfao..........

1. How did they first meet?

they both turn a tight corner and literally run face first into each other in camp LMAO. It’s a stupid mess and they hit each other so hard that Violet falls over and the horses make noise, and Bill cracks a joke about how he “the o’driscoll can’t be left alone around the girls!” and this embarrasses Kieran even MORE and he just apologizes to her over and over, but she’s a bit dazed so he’s just like ‘Miss let me help you!’ and lifts her up and when he does they get super close to each other and see each others faces and Kieran literally just STARES at her like an idiot, and Violet just teases him like “Well be careful, okay? What if I’d scratched the handsome off you?” and giggles and pulls his hat down over his face and Kieran’s brain is just like (KILL BILL SIRENS). They don’t actually properly learn each others names until later that night when she goes over to talk to him.

2. What did they think of each other at first? What was their first impression of the other?

HonesLEE it’s all so dorky and soft which I raaaarrrrely ever do to my OCs lmfao jfggggggggggggh... Kieran is head over heels the first second he sees Violet but he tries very hard to not show it; he is convinced he’d never have a chance with her. He acts weird the first few times they talk because he doesn’t really know how to behave around her. (This results in stuff like @honeyjaws‘s Lua thinking he’s awkward/weird and she doesn’t approve of him for Violet right away.) He literally calls her Miss Violet for the longest time even though she always tells him to call her Vi like everyone else. Violet thinks Kieran is very cute; the way they meet leaves a good impression on her because she thinks he comes off as very sweet and gentle which she is really not used to in the men in her life. It mostly starts out as she just really likes him and has a bit of a crush, but she falls for him super hard back once they spend more time together.

3. Were they immediately interested / attracted, or did that come later?

Mutual but it starts with Kieran having a maaaassive crush on her and Violet liking him and being really playful and teasing him a lot. It’s a ton of pining honestly for the longest time with both of them being STUPID AF and thinking the other isn’t interested. Violet is worried Kieran thinks of her as a child, and Kieran just flat out thinks Violet would never think of him like that. They are dumbasses and just both are in love and convinced its unrequited because neither of them will say anything lmfao

4. Why did they fall for each other?

Honestly Violet would realize it because she’d realize one day just how much he cares for her and how kind of a person he is; like she knows he’s a good person already obviously but one day maybe something on a heist or something that happens in camp really shakes her, and they’re hanging out in camp like they usually do and he gets up to go sleep and she’d grab his arm and goes “Would you stay with me?” and Keiran can just tell she’s not okay and would just be like “Of course. Whenever you need me.” and Violet’s heart would be like “OH GOD. OH FUCK.”

Kieran is pretty in love with Violet the second he sees her but its initially just based on her being beautiful and very kind to him. I think it would get serious for him once they spend more time together and he’d fall in love with her as a whole. She can be stubborn and naive and a bit childish, but she has a heart of gold and she’s so loyal and will go to such lengths for people she loves and I think he’d just fall a little bit more for her progressively every day.

5. Who flirted more before they started their relationship and how?

LMFAO VIOLET................................She teases the hell out of Kieran, ESPECIALLY as she gets more feelings for him. She loves finding ways to fluster the hell out of him.  Kieran can’t flirt with her, period. His way of showing love to Violet is being super respectful and kind and just pining from afar lmfao. It’s hard enough for him to not add MISS in front of her name all the time.

6. Who made the first move/confessed first?

surprisingly I think Kieran would? It would not at all be physical but he would definitely be the first to confess because his feelings for her are super overwhelming for him, and he doesn’t have outlets like Violet does with talking to Lua or how she teases him and is kinda flirty.  I think one night he’d leave her tent to go to sleep and then like 10 minutes later he’d just step back inside her tent and stare at her and she’d be like “...Is everything okay?” and he’d be like “Yes. No? I. I don’t know. I’m in love with you.” and it’d all probably come tumbling out of him and he’d probably apologize at the end of it and try to run LMAO

7. When did they have their first kiss and under what circumstances?

Violet would 100% initiate the first kiss and she’d make it so chaste to keep Kieran from exploding lmao. She’d totally do it out of the blue and catch him off guard too. Probably in her tent, he’d get up to leave for the night and she’d just kiss him really quick and say “Goodnight! :)” and he’d leave quietly and then have his quiet freak out outside lmao

8.  Which one is more easily made jealous?

I don’t think either of them would get jealous over each other tbh??? Violet would probably be more prone to jealousy than Kieran but only because she’s more temperamental then him.

9. What do they fight about? Who’s the first to apologize?

OH LMAO god its super stupid and it was early on way before they confess to each other. Violet wants to go on a heist that Dutch is putting together. Dutch isn’t 100% confident that Violet can handle a serious heist so he asks Kieran for his input since they spend so much time together and asks Kieran if he thinks she’s too childish, and Kieran who desperately doesn’t want Violet to go on this heist cuz he’s terrified of her getting hurt says YES he agrees she’s “just a kid”. Violet would find out later and be furious. Half out of feeling betrayed by who she feels is one of her best friends and half out of embarrassment because the boy she likes thinks shes just some KID?? She’d storm out of Dutch’s tent and make a literal B-line for him and confront him IMMEDIATELY and he’d be so flustered and she wouldn’t be able to yell at him for more than 5 minutes without starting to cry and running back to Lua and Rosa. She’d give him the cold shoulder for a week and then Kieran would find her and apologize. He’d confess that he said it because he didn’t want her to get hurt on a job because he cares about her, and he’d tell her he misses talking to her, and this would overjoy her too much to keep being mad at him lmao

10. Did they have a first date? Where did they go?

They don’t really get to date what with Van Der Lindes being on the run and all ;_; but they’d spend time together at camp a ton

11. What do their friends and family think? Do they approve of the relationship?

@honeyjaws​‘s Lua thinks Kieran is weird as fuck as first LMAO. She and Violet are such super good friends though and it would come mostly from a place of concern and wanting what’s best for Violet. She’d definitely warm up to Kieran eventually but at first she’d be like “hey....................who is this weird horse guy that stares at you all day” I’d love to know what @koalateamusings​‘s Rosa would think of it tbh

12. Do they like to cuddle/hold hands? Do they prefer to do it privately rather than in public?

Kieran is definitely a private person; not really into PDA. Violet would probably respect that, she doesn’t even really tease him or flirt with him in front of other people. In private they definitely hold hands and Violet is super touchy and physical lmao

13. How long do they wait before sleeping together for the first time (If they do)? Under what circumstances does it happen?

GOD..........I don’t even know when they’d ever get the privacy to do something lmao but it would come from just such a place of like, they both repressed themselves and their feelings for so long??? It would be a literal hot mess especially for Kieran because he in particular represses so much of how he feels and it’d all come tumbling out once Violet initiates something

please, i beg of you, tell me about your ocs

Oh anon you don’t know what you’ve unleashed lmfao every time someone asks about my OCs, a feral monkey-brained idiot springs forth lmfao ANYWAY I’d LOVE to talk about my disaster children!!

So first is Valentine Skylar, who WILL have a fic eventually, I’m just kinda...stuck on the beginning chapters, so it’s taking me a while to post it (I also feel like because I’ve been developing her character and this story for over a year now, I’m a little anxious about actually writing it lol like I can’t write it as perfect as it all is in my head lol). Basically, she’s a Disaster Bi (TM) who accidentally ate the Mieru-Mieru no Mi (credit to @charliedoyleloves for coming up with the name a while back!!), which granted her the ability to manipulate light particles/photons/whatever they’re called (science!). While it CAN have offensive uses, she mostly uses it for defense, especially sneaking around since she can use it to camouflage/turn invisible. She also later learns to create force fields with it (think Violet from The Incredibles! I...accidentally made it the same powers without realizing it...but oh well! lol) While camouflaged one day, she sneaks onto Law’s sub so she can escape her hella abusive family, and after he finds out she manages to convince him not to immediately kill/dismember her, and they agree to never speak again after getting to the next island. So the next day she leaves, and later Law comes across her being accosted by some goons who he later learns work for her parents, but what intrigues him is they have Doflamingo’s jolly roger, so he’s like “what does she have to do with him?” and saves her, allows her to travel with them (she’s NOT an official crewmember though), and tries to see how she might be useful to his dream. Thing is though, she DOESN’T know anything about Doflamingo, since she’s adamantly refused to get involved in the “Family Business”, and only recognizes the jolly roger from the safe in her family’s basement. But it ends up being really interesting (imo, eventually lol) because she definitely puts Law up on some kind of “Savior Pedestal” and obviously that’s NOT him, especially since on his end he’s just using her to try and further his goal. It’s an EPICALLY LONG slow burn (cause I can’t do anything less), and it’s gonna involve a lot of character growth on a lot of different fronts (I hope lol).

My SECOND disaster child is Monkey D. Hazel, Luffy’s older sister (She’s 21 when he’s 17, so 4 years older). I never planned on writing a fic for her, but now she’s the only one I’m actively writing for? Lol It’s mostly that I can take a slightly more relaxed approach with her fic, so if I’m stressed out about my Law fic, this is a good one to work on (plus, good excuse to re-read/re-watch the series!). I don’t wanna get too in depth in what happens, since I am actually writing about her now, but her dream is to write the greatest story ever told, and so obviously she’s following her brother along his dream to become the Pirate King. As they pick up crew members, they get added to the story, and by the time they’re done they’ll have a record of how each of them achieved their goals, something first hand that can’t be blemished by the WG or over-embellished by other medias. Starting off, her main fighting style is hand-to-hand/kicking, but I wanna give her a weapon at some point (still deciding what kind, I’m thinking throwing knives for one of them, maybe a gun for emergencies, and like a dagger or something? Idk, I don’t want her to be overloaded with weapons, but especially pre-Enies Lobby, she’s...not weak, but could use the leg up, ya know?). Ace is her ex, I’ll go into more detail in the fic about why they broke up, but the main reason is that he was leaving to become a pirate and she was staying behind to wait for Luffy. She hasn’t been with anyone else since, though (Also before anyone asks; Hazel never considered Ace to be her brother while they were growing up. After Sabo “died” and as she grew older she started to remember him fondly as a sort of little brother, but Ace was always pretty much her age so she only saw him as a close friend. After they broke up she would refer to him as “practically her brother”, but she still didn’t consider him as such. She’s also got a bit of a “Mom Complex” from taking care of Luffy since they were literal children, so she ACTS like a big sister to everyone in a way, even if she doesn’t view them as a familial relationship). This one is also an epic slow burn, just cause I like to build the relationship AND the tension lol, but ultimately Ace is NOT her love interest in this, even though they do share some moments. I was originally going to have Hazel’s epithet be “Witch” Hazel, which is why I looked it up, but I’ve since changed it after looking up some other options (spoilers lolol)

For you, I’ll almost do anything

Flannel’s father: 

He was the leader, he was powerful, strong and very good when It came to handling situations. To many, he’s often seemed pretty quiet, looked scary when in reality he really wasn’t as scary as people thought of him as. Of course, If you piss him off then yeah he’ll probably break your neck but otherwise, he cared deeply for his home, pack, and his family.

So If he cared so much then why does Flannel felt like he didn’t? To those who do read my backstory for Flannel, It seemed like Flannel’s father was nothing more than a dick to his own son and prefer the other two more than him. But really, he was always trying his best to make sure Flannel was safe and sound. He was born almost deaf and blind as a cub, thankfully he didn’t and was a late bloomer. But he did grow to be much slower than most wolf cubs and was sickly for a few years.

All he ever wanted was to make sure his son was all right If Flannel’s father was that much of an asshole. I would have written him as such and made him drop Flannel, killing him cause that what most animals do in situations like those but I didn’t. Cause I never saw him as this type, of course, this is my view of him but when It comes down to Flannel as a whole…

He isn’t sure how he should feel about his father, he doesn’t love him but he also doesn’t hate him. Flannel will always call him his father, cause he feels like he gotta call him that cause it respectful but his father is a touchy subject for him. The moment somebody close to him tries to ask about Flannel’s father, It’ll result in him feeling the need to explain everything when he shouldn’t. Which depending on a person they will either brush it off or pity him. He never wants people to pity him, he hates it so much cause It gives him a reminder of how much his father was pitying him (Of course, he wasn’t but this is what flannel thinks.) 

One of Flannel’s fear is that he doesn’t want to ever be seen as weak, scared, useless, everything that is the opposite of what he is now. This was something I couldn’t understand much of why as I didn’t have much of reason to expression it ( until a certain au we have that I finally was able to get a taste of that. ) Which brings up about Flannel is scared he’ll be a worse father If he were to ever have kids, he not against them as he loves them but there is a small bit of fear that his own children would despise him or his children would end up like how he was being very weak and not knowing how to handle it aside from trying to keep them ‘safe.’

Father’s mother: 

He adores his mother, she was always there with him. Taking care of him, making sure that he isn’t alone and has somebody to be around with. Unlike his father If somebody were to ask him about his mother, he would have little problem talking about her. She kept to herself mostly, not one to speak up about things unless needing and usually prefer to keep quiet and not cause trouble. Cause of this she did mostly spend time being in the comfort of their little home (that being the cave) and taking care of things she believed a mother should do.

Most of Flannel’s memories with her was either playing with her or when Flannel started to train himself to become stronger only to get hurt and his mother scolding him. When he started to become older he did become a bit distant towards her, nothing bad that caused this. It sort of happened, but even then he did try his best to spend as much time with her as possible. Since she did remain home by herself most of the time, only ever coming out whenever It was time for eating the pack did eat together like It was some family.

So when It came down to her being depressed and leaving due to the loss of her mate, Flannel did felt guilt over it. He knew his mother wasn’t acting normal, and while he understands people need time to grieve. He did felt like It was his fault for not spending as much time with her, and not leaving her alone cause he feels like If he did that maybe she would have stayed instead rather than just up and leaving without a trance. Flannel could have easily tracked her down with using his nose but It was difficult since her mother did know well enough how to hide her scrent, she was a pretty smart woman which probably what made his parents fall in love with each other but nevertheless he held nothing against her in the end.

Denim: 

Flannel’s older brother! He… He doesn’t think about him so much, he didn’t spend much time with him as a child since Denim kept himself away from Flannel mostly. The only time he ever spoke with him or was even around him was either from eating or If Flannel was going someplace alone than he had to come along with him to make sure he was safe ( this only happened when Flannel was much younger so way before the training happened. ) Denim is… Very serious and follows the old culture that they have, meaning he isn’t a fan of half-breeds whatsoever let along a Garou dating somebody that isn’t a Garou too.

Denim was a bit colder towards almost anybody, even to his own parents. The reason for it was cause he was given the mindset that If he became the leader, He had to act this way. Of course, there is a line where you have to be serious or else you could easily be killed. It even a thing real life wolves deal with a lot, If you want to keep your leadership role you better be serious about it and not think it some sort of silly game. From hearing that It sounds like he wouldn’t be the type to give away the leadership role to anybody, but since the role can be given to anybody that is strong enough. Flannel was easily able to get it under one condition.

Doesn’t act like a leader and Flannel will be killed.

Flannel’s relationship with Denim is just… There. We’re siblings and there’s nothing more and nothing less. Flannel doesn’t get to say a lot about Denim aside from wanting to keep any of his mates that isn’t a Garou away from him since  Denim will have a little problem questioning them. Heck, he would probably try to find some sort of way to make sure Flannel doesn’t end up with them or make the mate regret ever coming to mount Garou, to begin with.

In short, If Denim is going to keep his direction away from anybody, even his own family than Flannel will do the same to him as well.

Chintz: 

The middle brother of the family! Unlike Denim, Chintz is definitely the goofball of the family. He loves pulling pranks on people a lot, some actually being pretty… Deadly. He was the one sibling that gets into trouble a lot and honestly probably be the worse leader ever If he was in control. He’s not the greatest person to be with, heck I would suggest not ever being his mate whatsoever. Cause If he going down you are coming down with him too, which happened a lot with Flannel when he was younger. Chintz was the one that played with Flannel most of the time, that doesn’t mean most of their playing was anything good. Sure, there were days that It was all right but there was time Flannel almost got caught by hunters cause of Chintz‘s game or made Flannel lost his life.

This was when they were children and Chintz did found himself.. Calming down a tad bit from it. Again only a bit. The reason for it was mostly many of the scoldings that he would get from their father but otherwise he loves playing games and pranks on people, it feels like It makes the day so much interesting to him no matter what happens. If it catches his interest than he going to love it, so when It comes to Flannel’s feelings towards his brother… Sometimes, he can’t help but questions If this is actually his brother.

Like no offense to Chintz but Flannel has such big mix feelings towards him, If they ain’t playing some sort of game than Flannel can deal it pretty easily, but If  Chintz suggests playing some game than Flannel is leaving so quick before he could even hear what it’s about. 

Flannel would make sure his friends during the war or mate wouldn’t go near him alone, probably warmed them ahead of them about him. The last thing, Flannel would want is to lose his friends or mate thanks to his brother stupid games. Probably make sure any kids he has is away from him whatsoever, despite Chintz knows his limit to not get children into any danger but otherwise… Flannel prefer to avoid him as much, doesn’t hate the poor guy but also doesn’t trust him very much with like… Anything LMFAO.

Flannel does NOT hate his daughter! So many people think Flannel dislikes his daughter and wants NOTHING to do with her when this is false! He even said in his game that he tried too often visit her, so he does not hate his daughter!

If anything he does worry about his daughter a lot, beforehand he was pretty worried that his daughter would become sickly like how he was. But she wasn’t so that was one worry out of him, the other being that she would grow to dislike him or worse. So he would try his best to make sure that doesn’t end up happening, which we all should know that wouldn’t since Velour’s character as a whole.

Nevertheless! He really does care a lot about Velour, it is his daughter after all! He gets worried a lot If she’s lonely, making any friends and If she’s taking good care of herself. He does get a bit worried when It comes to her being really clingy to him and the others ( being her mother/father and any siblings that she may have. )

Admittedly Flannel isn’t self-aware that Velour is a bit jealous of their other parent. Since in the Japanese skinship she does state that she can’t help but get a bit jealous over Flannel’s partner ( that being velour’s mother / father ) since they are able to get his attention and everything. But since she also said that she knows she shouldn’t, and it weird for her to be feeling this whatsoever… It really isn’t much of a worry for Flannel even if he did find out unless the whole thing gets worse than yeah, he going to have to sit down and talk with her.

Of course, his only worry is just making sure that she doesn’t cling to him so much cause he isn’t always going to be there for her.

But otherwise, he really does love his daughter? She’s like his everything, and he is glad that she was also interested in the same thing that he’s interested in. The idea they both can share the same interest ( treasure ) always makes him very happy, just like how parents should be. He only hopes that her life will be easy, and good and that she does the best that she can in life! Cause all he really wants is for her to be happy and exceed in life, he wouldn’t even care If she doesn’t even go into a pack as long as It makes her happy than It isn’t a big deal to him so much.

EARLY YEARS OF THEIR FRIENDSHIP.

tate & cre met in kindergarten, so they’ve known each other for a long ass time. they initially hated each other and wanted nothing to do with each other, but their parents were friends ( and desperately wanted them to be, too ) so they toughed it out and eventually became inseparable.

it seemed like there wasn’t anywhere tatum went that cre didn’t, and vice versa ; they sat together during class, they ate lunch together, they had lots of sleepovers and playdates at the park or the swimming pool.

both of their families were financially strapped, but when tatum’s father died cre began doing anything he could to help support her mom & brother. jennifer vargas was having an incredibly difficult time putting food on the table - let alone paying her bills and getting rent in on time - so cre would come over every night ( starting in sixth grade ) and help prepare dinner or bring leftovers from his house. he would babysit when needed, stay over when tatum’s mother had to go out of town, and even began giving them a portion of his work money when he started his first job.

MIDDLE SCHOOL / HIGH SCHOOL.

their relationship became exponentially stronger throughout middle school and high school, and around freshman year is when tatum realized she was totally in love with cre. he realized it, too, but they never told each other for fear of rejection. they still haven’t.

tatum was the first to get her driver’s license, and as a seventeenth birthday present cre bought her a used 2012 ford focus. they then came to a subconscious agreement that cre would lowkey start living at tate’s, so if he needed a ride, neither of them would have to go very far.

FIRST TIME SMOKING.

their first time smoking was in sixth grade. cre’s stepfather bradley brought some pot home, and, naturally, cre and tatum got into it. they were curious after hearing from several of their friends how awesome marijuana makes you feel.

they experienced pot for the first time together, and in the years before their “wonderful idea” was born, tatum & cre only smoked with each other. they had no interest in getting high with the rest of their friends ; they were super close, and all they wanted to do was smoke a bunch, order shittons of greasy food, and laugh abt inside jokes only they would understand.

ROMANTIC TENSION.

the romantic tension between tate & cre has always been wild, but it definitely multiplied when they started their “business”. they were making so much money - enough to buy cars for their friends, gift each other designer clothing, fund multi-thousand dollar vacations - and their happiness made clear how much they cared for each other.

cre would highkey get jealous when seeing or hearing tatum act sexual/romantic with other guys, but he never tried to control her. tatum hated it when girls would flirt with cre, but she never told him he couldn’t talk to them.

they would be a great couple if they’d stop being scaredy cats and just?? tell each other??? for god’s sake lmfao.

STRESS / FIGHTS / SCANDALS / THE MURDERS.

ok so.......... there were a lot of fights in the months leading up to their arrest. A LOT.

a good chunk of their problems had to do with the fact that there were rats in their group of smugglers. someone was taking their supply on the low and keeping it to themselves ; no one ever fessed up, and this caused a huge strain on tatum and cre’s relationship. they realized they had to be careful when choosing to trust people, and that paranoia began to slowly eat away at the trust they had in each other.

of course both of them knew, deep down, that they would never betray each other - they’d been together for too long, and they wouldn’t risk ruining their relationship and destroying their empire. it was incredibly difficult, however, maintaining their trust in other members of their ring.

the second major ( and possibly scariest ) scandal was when jakob knapp, alicia ortiz, and alex johnson were murdered. before their deaths, jakob had been trying to wipe tatum and cre off the map - they were taking attention from his drug ring, and he didn’t like that. he felt that they were freeloaders, that they didn’t deserve the money they’d made, and wanted to permanently erase them from the world of smuggling. jakob’s hatred for tatum and cre came back to bite him in the ass, and ended up being the motive behind his murder.

when the three teens were found, tatum and cre realized the gravity of the situation. neither of them expected things to go so far - it was only marijuana. it wasn’t like they were the next pablo escobar. they didn’t think anyone would get hurt.

they tried their best to be careful, but they refused to stop doing what made them happy - their parties were never canceled, and they didn’t take a break from smuggling. instead they went about life normally, distributing and living as millionaires, until cre made the mistake of selling to someone he didn’t know. that person turned out to be an undercover fbi agent, stationed in idaho to monitor the climb in marijuana possession and distribution.

i believe that cre blames himself monumentally for what happened. he was the one who brought it on, after all. he feels horrible that he and tate were separated. he has recurring nightmares about the whole situation, and what might have happened if jakob knapp was never killed. he knows there’s a significant chance it could’ve been he and tatum lying in that ditch by the lake, and that makes him feel like shit.

tate and cre are still in constant contact - they text and call every day, and facetime at least six times a week. their relationship is slightly strained atm, but if cre was at plath i’m sure there would be tons of room for improvement.

Sorry I haven't been here yet. But like wow, I've lucked out. I haven't been vulnerable yet. And just when I think I haven't got a shot, we merged with the people who I can potentially work with. This is what I needed. Friends. I can't wait for this. I need the me/Gabby/kait/jenn thing to work with the me/liana thing and I need to pull in Emma and amanda. And then we can take out all of the men. I'd be fine with that. I really would be. Ok, since not much has happened yet that's all I have to say. But stay tuned, I'm hoping it gets interesting.

Despite Darians messy ass going from one tribe to the other saying Finite will join forces against the other, one of us Tasi could still be going. I hate. Darling! What a lovely week it's been so far. The merge has come and I've had a lot of time to talk to people. This week, I've definitely had to work on making those new relationships, building those old bridges. Well this has been one hell of a round First, only three fucking people tried in the immunity challenge and actually got points, making them the only ones to get immunity. Super fun. Those three would be Luke, Kait and Rob. Luckily those three are involved in a huge multi tribe alliance that is forming Yup 14 people I think. We are all voting together to start weeding out others This alliance consists of the finite 7 Rob, Amanda, kait, Emma, andie, rhea, and me Gabriel, johnny, Luke, Jen Billy, Seamus, and Christine I know this is a cluster fuck of people but this is a cluster fuck season. Anywho. I'm hoping all goes smoothly and everyone proved loyal. I guess we will find out tonight  

Darian is a HOT ASS MESS. Like how can you go around and be so confident about a vote that is not in your corner? Like obviously I'm confident Darian will go, but like at the same time, I'm not cocky confident about it. Darian is so blinded by his own ego to see that his ass is in trouble. The beginning of this game was kind of rough for me, I didn't really know anybody on my tribe except for Billy and Chrissa and if we had remained as that tribe, I definitely think I could have been heading home so it's comforting that things are starting to look up for me. This 'merge' has been really interesting, especially because it's just letting everybody see how messy Darian is. He wants to put the OldTasi and OldMakahana tribe against one another but agreeing to align with both sides????does he not understand that he will be pissing off so many people by doing that? dumbass. Ok so this vote is either gonna be make or break for me tbh. I'm super nervous cause I kinda want Darian to go instead of Sam because I love Sam so much its not even funny. She's one of the people I know I can actually trust and Darian seems like a bit of a wildcard.
