#some people are pretty chill about this #but some of you are like OP DIE #and I'm like maybe walk away from the internet love #anyways I know America is old! I also know why there's a pop cultural association with it being a young nation #I am aware of land theft and genocide thank you #possibly more personally aware of it than you! i love unfiction horror as much as the next guy but if creators start using AI to make their ~spooky images~ instead of hiring an artist im gonna start swinging with a bat for real

horrors/horrors being turned into banality/banality being the real horror is such a fascinating dance to me, don't make me explain, round and round they go.

#ok ok I will try. take some horrifying horrible monster that haunts a village and torments the people. It feeds on dreams and nightmares.#pretty scary!#now - for the sequel you COULD make it buffer and more cruel and whatever. Or add more of them or something. Easy-peasy.#but the real next step of horror would be...to see its limbs and legs wrapped in cellophane and sold at the butcher's and no one comments.#oh oh I know: think of the Destroyer in Borderlands 1. Ancient creature guarding the mysterious vault and only appearing every 100 years #now adding more and more vaults and creatures...it's okay (looking at you Borderlands 3) but the real horror?#that was seeing its eye harvested and used as a weapon in the Pre-Sequel. The real horror is no longer this strange bizarre creature #but the act of sacrilege that is reducing it to its parts as a tool #BUT THEN if you have a banal setting - then the horror lies in the banality gaining its own life.#working in a storage job and being sent to retrieve something and realising the storage rooms never end and realising you've never left #the internet as a hivemind. years and years of living in an apartment complex and hearing steps and noises -#until you realise you've never SEEN any of your neighbours. and you start to pay attention and the only signs of life are the house itself.#the fly-realising-it-is-sitting-in-the-venus-fly-trap-ness of it all #and the jaws are closing around you.#the horror of the untamable being tamable vs the horror of the tamable taming you.#is this something? am I saying something?

Ok so the Akasha is like Google right? A great tool which lets you access all this information and knowledge.

But then again, the Akasha also decides what kind of information you get to access... who controls the Akasha? Is it like an AI, like an algorithm? Does it just collect information about you and then put you in your info bubble so you only have access to the knowledge the Akasha has "decided" is suitable for you? Doesn't that sound very familiar?

Personally I think that's really terrifying.

Been trying to think about my room layout if this window gets put in(oh to have natural light).

I'm getting more head space but I have no idea where to put my pc/wires. They have to be out of rabbit reach but not so close to the pipes that if they burst I lose everything. Also need to keep pipes easy to get to for same reason.

Let alone where my bed would go.

I am team corner/cubby bed but the new room layout's only corner is too small for the bed & right on said water pipes.

😣 & kid me thought they wanted to be an interior designer.

this morning my biocat made me follow him into the living room, sat away from my mom's christmas tree but was staring at it & then me. i was so confused what he wanted, but the only thing i could think to do was turn the lights on & as soon as i did he trotted behind the tree and started playing with me

he woke me up. to ask me to turn on the lights on the tree. he is so cute and smart i cant believe he did this LOL. i just thought u might want to know this :0]

I wish I wasn't so fragile

#I wish I didn't get a borderline panic attack at the idea of accidentally saying or doing something that upsets someone #even if someone tells me calmly I instantly go into a full on spiral and self-hatey #and I know it's because of my parents #and because of autism I keep accidentally being rude #and it made me so much more quiet than I'd be otherwise because I don't want to upset anyone #but I don't want to be a quiet person #i want to be loud and silly and playful and laugh with people I genuinely care about #but it's difficult to let my guard down #so it's difficult to make connections that feel meaningfuk #i can count in one hand the amount of people I feel truly safe and connected with #and I want so many more genuine connections #but it's scary #i am scared of getting close to anyone because the more comfortable I get the more likely I am to accidentally upset them #anyway #I've been rambling for too long #and these are probably not things I should be sharing with strangers on the internet #but it's all written down now so ih #uh*#if you read all this you're cool #and don't worry too much about me I'll be ok #just got a lot on my mind and processing a lot of different things #and learning how to love myself better #it's hard #but I'll keep doing my best #in hopes one day I can feel those genuine connections I crave so much #one day.#I hope.

you guys would not believe the convo I just had with some of the sys (sunny, circe, moon, phoebe, francis, martin and jon)

we were in the living room of headspace discussing what stuff we should do while on holiday and a fucking. disembodied brain??? floats into the middle of the room??? and just hovers there and we're all freaked the fuck out and it just. becomes a full nervous system and them it has muscles and skin and clothes and boom. it was phoebe. WHAT THE FUCK. WHY WOULD SHE. WHAT. WHY.

turns out she was just having fun fucking with the dream-physics of headspace. later in the convo she was suddenly an autism creature after a brief confetti explosion and then she turned her hair into hatsune miku's hair. wtf is wrong with this girl. also british people (jon and martin) joined the convo and started being GAY IN FRONT OF ALL OF US. GROSS (it was cute actually)

#it was a good convo!!! today is a good day in the system ((: everyones getting along for once and things arent as fuzzy as usual :D #jon and martin were being GAY. moon was just Sitting There. phoebe butted in a lot but its ok we love her #circe is actually much wilder than I thought???
