I just watched episode 3 of The Last of Us and I am NOT okay.

I loved ep 3 especially because my parents have the same relationship dynamic where my dad is Bill and my mom is Frank... Except that my dad doesn't know how to maneuver a gun and my mom can't even draw a proper stick figure.

I finished episode three of The Last of Us and I'm overwhelmed. I knew exactly what was going to happen, but damn that was beautiful.

"Older means we're still here" kind of punched me in the gut even outside of the story. We're now entering a generation where we have older queer men and I think that's just an important message in general.

There was just so much love in a simple television episode. A full love story in such a short amount of time.

I full out sobbed alone in a dark room and it actually felt pretty good.

And on another note, I actually think I'm gonna catch up before I go back to work Tuesday. Which is kind of cool because I'm usually at least a month or two behind on these things.

Imagine not only surviving in the zombie apocalypse but living, happy and super gay with your partner until you're old and grey. Then you develop a painful and incurable neurodegenerative disease during a zombie apocalypse. And so you're like "actually I think I would rather die in my sleep in my life partner's arms knowing I had a fulfilling and beautiful life better than most get to have in the zombie apocalypse than experience my brain slowly and painfully turning to mush during a zombie apocalypse."

But then someone bursts in going "Oh so you're killing yourself because you're disabled? You think disabled people should kill themselves because they're useless?" And then they get eaten by zombies because it's the zombie apocalypse.

Anyways I saw some real braindead takes about episode 3 of The Last of Us.

still thinking about episode 3 and i really think there's a lot to tell about bill and frank purely based off how they eat the strawberries.

frank pulls the leaves off and discards them before taking his first bite. bill holds it by the leaves and then eats them at the end.

idk what that says exactly but there's just something about the survivalist who cares about resources eating the part that most people wouldn't, and then the one who planted them choosing to enjoy them the way he clearly always used to.
