i just read that the times article on ballerina farm and on god...that woman is a victim 😭

#her husband saying they BOTH made sacrifices when she's the one who gave up her ballerina career (studied at JULLIARD) and all her interest #while they moved to a rural area because he wanted to they got a farm bc he wanted to they don't have a helper to look after the kids #bc he doesn't want it #like....they got married within a month of dating while she wanted to wait at least a year because he wanted to get married asap #she sometimes gets so ill from exhausted she can't get up from bed for a week....#the small barn she wanted converted a ballerina studio...became the kids' playhouse #her husband moved all her pretty clothes to the garage since there was no room with all of her kids' things #he calls them co-ceos but the only thing he does is LAUNDRY.#she's literally living my nightmare #mt

i hate doing laundry ough it's The Worst

#not only does leaning down to move my stuff hurt my back #but i have to touch dirty clothes and go into the dirty room and touch the dirty machines and i have to wear 2 pairs of socks (so my #normal socks dont touch the contaminated floor) and when i lean over the washing machine my clothes touch it <-the worst part of it all #tbh. now my current clothes are dirty but i have nothing to change into and i will have to wear them all day and it makes me SICK #and i cannot talk abt how dirty the garage (where the laundry machines are) it makes me nauseous that place kills me if i never #had to go into it ever again i would and i have to carry a laundry basket (dirty) and it touches my clothes when i carry it (disgusting)#and now my clothes are even more dirty and i feel like i cant touch any of my things bc i dont want to infect them but i cant just do #nothing all day when i have to do laundry but it makes me so SICK i need smth to cover all of my clothes but everything i've tried misses #some part and my clothes are ruined and it makes me SICK how am i supposed to do school or draw or anything when it's so bad #i have everything scheduled so i can take a shower and go straight to bed after i'm done but still it's so bad and it stresses me tf out #and i have to do laundry every 3 days because i only have 3 towels to use after showering and even if i did have more towels #i still would have to do laundry as often bc i couldnt handle doing multiple loads or having bigger loads my back couldnt handle that #w the system i have set up now it's just bad it;s all bad i hate doing laundry #i dream of one day where i can do laundry in a better way i think it'd involve not having the washer and dryer down steps bc that's #dangerous for one and for two not having them in a garage bc garages stress me out and three to have smth to cover all of my clothes #and 4 to have machines that dont need me to bend down idk if they have ones like that but it hurts #anyway that's it for listening to dux complain abt smth that ultimately doesnt matter and is only a problem bc their brain #chemistry is off #k bye i have to go do laundry *explodes* and take an exam *explodes* it;s an essay exam *explodes* and then im going #to like sit around feeling sick thumbs up emoji

the laundry room add on to my apartment was done without a permit and the city found out so now it needs to be torn down. this is right next to my room I think I'm gonna lose my fuckin mind

I miss my childhood house so much I would give anything to grab the knob at the end of the banister and jump from the third step and catch a million seconds of air while I whip myself around the banister and down the hall

#I also miss my treehouse and the pool table I would use for fashion shows and the smell of the “secret garden” under the stairs and #the way the house would settle and the planes overhead and that stain on the carpet from where I dropped an entire plate of mac n cheese #and the distinct smell of my mom’s closet and climbing down over the back bank and going to the entryway where the ceiling was two stories #high and throwing bouncy balls as hard as I could to get them to bounce off the ceiling and the rope swing in the backyard and eating #the buttercups that grew there bc I read once they were edible and the sound your nails made when they scratched across the counter and #using hot clue to peel off paint and make patterns on the workbench and the shed that smelled like gasoline and climbing the tree that #my dad installed handles into to make it easier and making umbrella forts and playing washing machine (spinning around and around in #circles with your arms out then falling to the floor and watching the room spin) and the mismatched rung on the banister from where #I broke it and the sound of the cat door and how the garage door was so heavy that it would slam if you didn’t prop it open and how the #smell of laundry would waft up into my room and how if you laid on the bathroom floor you could see a piece of the old yellow flower #wallpaper that my mom missed when she ripped it out and the sound of the sliding glass door that we could never quite get clean and #the sound that the bag full of bags would make when you opened the pantry door too far and how my neighbor always used to sing when #she brought her trash out late at night and the crunch sound the carpet would make when you walked on the edge and how raccoons would #always come to the back door and my cat would try to scare them away and being scared to go into my mom’s bathroom bc the shower #had been ripped out for years after my dad tried to power wash it so it left several gaping holes to the rest of the house but there were #spiders in there for all I knew or cared #carmen.txt

like theres annoying parents who wont let you have privacy here too and a lot of kids arent allowed to lock their door or they r asked why they keep closing it

i have made my bed so comfy it’s insane. when i get that new firm mattress to replace this one oh it’s so over

#personal #i don’t have people over a lot but extended visitors of my room DO end up taking a nap it’s unavoidable #it’s so fucking comfy #it’s this comfy with half the bed sinking and an exposed spring. my power when it’s not 20 something year old mattress or at least a used #20 some year old mattress #there’s an unopened mattress in my garage that i might take but also i am very scared of bugs #but also expensive older mattress not out of box and i don’t feel bad bc i want to move out too….#but also 130 mattress that i don’t have to take apart my entire garage for. that alone might be worth it #but either way cuddling with a space ship with two squish mellows surrounding me with TWO fans.#there’s a weighted blanket in here too trust.#and then bad comfy but i didn’t put away laundry so giant nest 😔 sadly very comfy
