Alright, payback time >:)
You now know what my Moonrise Legacy would think of Tyr, so now I return the question! What would the Zarmahan Legacy think of my Jedi Knight, Corrain - would any of them get along? First impressions? For as many or as few of your ocs as you want!
Since you answered with all of yours, I shall return the favor kindly! Yulizzia (JK): It'd depend on when they meet. If Corrain meets 'Bratty'-Yulizzia (Chapter 1 and early Chapter 2), she wouldn't really understand or comprehend Corrain, finding him just weird. However, if he met post Chapter 2 Yuli, who's mainly a generally noble character with the occasional darker streak, she'd be a lot more mature and understanding. If they both went through Vitiate's BS, I could see her bonding with him over it, trying to help him cope and understand. She'd basically be that emotional support friend who acts as someone you can emotionally unpack to and be a shoulder to cry on. I say she and Corrain would get along just fine. Escillan (JC): Escil tends to find he works best with more unconventional Jedi, so he'd get along well with Corrain. Escillan's not a big conversationalist, and he's got his own fair share of social awkwardness. But he is a very good listener, and manages to keep a cool head on his shoulders, so if Corrain isn't too bothered by a lack of response, they should be good to go.
Aellisu (SM): Aellisu, I imagine being that cool uncle or older brother (depends on the age gap). He'd be the type that takes Corrain out to bars or strip joints, teaches him how to shoot and fly, and he might even give tips on how Cor can...'please' Lana and Theron. If Corrain's not into any of that, of course, Ael'll be respectful and back down. Otherwise, they might be buddies, too. Baduenda (RT): Badu might take a while to warm up to Corrain. She's not used to being around people like him, so their relationship might be a little distant. However, if someone like Yuli were to act as a third party, I could see them being acquaintances or friends.
Tyrrnith (SW): Just like Yuli, Tyr would probably get along with Corrain the most. He'd definitely have a lot of respect for Corrain, and can relate to being used as a toy by Vitiate. Even if Cor doesn't trust him, he'd be kind and polite enough to keep his distance. After all, Tyr’s kinda used to being feared and hated by people, he’s almost numb to it.. If Cor were to reach out, however, so would Tyr. Like you said, they wouldn't always see eye-to-eye, but if they bond enough, I could see Cor being a sort of younger brother figure in Tyr's eyes, someone who he'd protect with his life, and maybe even a good hugger if Cor wants him to.
Lavissia (SI): Lavi's is a very snarky and teasing individual. She might occasionally play around with Cor, but nothing absolutely soul-crushing. If he tells her to stop or at least tone it down, she'll definitely do so. She'd want to stay on his good side. Heck, if he's willing, Lavi might even end up being a good 'gossip buddy' for him, as she likes to collect secrets on both her allies and enemies alike.
Hadisha (BH): Hadisha would be a little cautious at first. She's definitely had her fill of smug asshats like Jun Seros, so she wouldn't be rushing to get to know Cor. However, if Cor proves he's nothing like that sort of Jedi, she'd gradually warm up to him, especially if he demonstrates his honor towards her.
A'vash'l (IA): A'vash'l does not like Jedi. I mean, he doesn't like force users in general that much, unless they prove they aren't anything like Jedi or Sith. With Cor, however, I think they'd do alright. If A'vash'l's serving under him, he'd be more than willing to work as an advisor, offering guidance on how to deal with situations, and dealing with anyone Cor wants 'removed'. It's his specialty, after all.
Thank you for this ask! It was really fun to do and I hope you enjoy it!

What is Corrian’s relationship like with Koth?
Corrain's relationship with Koth is....tense, especially at first. Because while on one hand he's grateful to Koth for risking his life to help Lana rescue him from being Cor-bonite (i'm so sorry XD) - and doubly grateful to Koth for helping Lana care for him after the carbonite poisoning took it's toll (Corrain reacts the cure badly and ends up pretty sick for a few days while it slowly works its way out of his system) - he's REALLY not fond of Koth implying that Valkorion was. a good guy, in any way. So he's...civil, but it's very strained.
This comes to a head when the Scions lure Corrain and Senya into their little test to try and see why they can't foretell Corrain's future, and it's revealed that he's got Valkorion in his head. Both Koth and Senya are- excited by this, they think it's a *good* thing, and Corrain has suffered SO much at Vitiate's hands. He's seen first-hand how this man has destroyed the galaxy for his own gain, (Uphrades, Ziost) seen how Zakuul's prosperity was built on Valkorion funneling shit away from the Sith - and he snaps.
And it's not like- he just loses his temper. Because he does - but by this point in the plot he's strong enough in the Force that when he loses his temper he also loses grip on the Force, and he accidentally drags everyone present into an extremely vivid hallucination of a series of moments from his past - his torment on the Fortress, Uphrades burning, Ziost's death and Vitiate taunting him there, Orgus's death and the murder of his entire creche, that sort of thing. It's kind of a forced reverse-psychometry, and he's not in control of it. (This is where Valkorion has the opportunity to snatch a few of Corrain's memories as well, and from the memories of Corrain's mother, he realizes that Corrain is his son)
Lana has to calm Corrain down to get the whirlwind hallucinations to stop, he's managed to accidentally do some structural damage, Koth and Senya are both in utter shock both at Corrain's raw strength in the Force and the scale of devastation that Valkorion/Vitiate was able to invoke upon the galaxy - Koth doesn't say shit about Valkorion being good for Zakuul after this. Neither does Senya. Neither of them are willing to risk that kind of wrath again.
After this incident, Corrain and Koth get on alright. They're not close, but they're not necessarily antagonistic either, and Koth respects Corrain's dedication to trying to preserve Zakuul as well as he can. And they kind of maintain that distant-colleagues attitude for their entire 'partnership'
Thank you for the ask!!! :DDDD

What is Cor’s relationship like with Orgus?
Oh. Oh, its.../gestures at my blog header/ yeah. Yeah. I'm just gonna put some snippets from "Crescent Moon Rising" of them. Oh god they're best duo. Dad and Son. But Jedi. 😭💙
“That was very well-handled, Corrain,” he said, his tone kind even as it was brusque. “And well done with your mission to help the Twi’leks as well. But you must be tired after what you’ve managed to accomplish today - it might be time for some sleep.”
It was an astute observation, but not one that Corrain could honestly say he appreciated, and against his better judgement he made a face, huffing. Orgus’s smile grew by a few teeth, the older man chuckling lightly even as Corrain puffed up in indignation.
“Oh, don’t look at me like that, Padawan, I can see the bags forming under your eyes,” his master said, a hint of teasing in his tone. “Whippersnappers like you need to go to bed early anyway so you grow tall and strong.”
Corrain’s jaw dropped, but the smile on his teacher’s face was infectious and in spite of the indignant offense he was most certainly taking against the unwarranted commentary, he found himself struggling not to laugh at the teasing.
“Master!” he complained, fighting a smile. “I’m eighteen, I’m no whippersnapper - and I’m fine, I can do more if-”
Orgus shook his head then, silencing his student in midsentence.
“You’ve done enough today, Corrain. More than enough. I’m proud of you.” The crows’ feet at the corners of Orgus’s dark eyes crinkled like fine rice paper, gaze fixed on Corrain’s face. And for the life of him, Corrain couldn’t seem to form the words to respond, his mouth completely dry, shaken by the praise.
Orgus is. So incredibly Dad. He's just. Parent Shaped! And he treats Corrain like an adult, yes, but he's also very liberal with the "good job kiddo" and Corrain is barely 18 and trying so hard to be the best Jedi ever and Orgus just keeps telling him "it's okay. You've done enough, you've done well" 🥺
And another one-
And then he fell off the pallet and promptly landed on his elbow, sending a surge of painful fuzz through his arm and up his shoulder.
“Ow! Karking-”
“Padawan.”
He froze, then looked up with wide eyes to see Orgus gazing down at him, the corner of his mouth twitching even as he tried to look slightly disapproving. Meanwhile, on the holo, Satele waited calmly, watching them both with something like amusement in her gaze. Ah. Right. Frick.
“Uh. Sorry. Good morning?”
Oh, Orgus was definitely holding back a smile, and from the sighing from the Grand Master, it looked like she knew it wholeheartedly. Corrain couldn’t help the heat that rose to his face, carefully untangling himself from the cloak that had been laid over him - was this his master’s? - and rearranging the pallet, which had been knocked askew when he’d fallen off the crates. Finally, Orgus took pity on him, shaking his head with some kind of fond exasperation.
“Good morning, kid. Get your head in order, then head out to talk to Ranna while I finish up with the Council, okay?”
Well, he was probably never going to live that down. T7 whistled cheerily at his side, bumping gently against his knee, burbling in amused Binary. Even the droid was laughing. He sighed.
“Yes master.”
And then Orgus is teasing him! And Satele's just there, already knowing these two are going to be full of Banter and resigning herself to it-
His master gave him a sharp look then, sternness passing across his craggy face like a shadow on a cliff face.
“Thus - I must be careful with you here,” Orgus said firmly. “You’re strong, yes, but you’re also very young, and I’d think you haven’t yet had much experience with the Dark Side as of yet. You’ll have to encounter it at some point, of course, but…Kaleth will be a trial for you. You must contact me immediately if you need help - I refuse to lose another Padawan.”
Corrain’s breath caught at the reminder of his master’s previous loss, and behind Orgus, Ranna and Moorint’s expressions had both visibly softened, understanding drawing them into sympathy. He swallowed hard, then nodded resolutely, meeting the troubled brown gaze head on.
“I will pass this trial, master,” he declared, folding his hands over each other in front of him. “And I will be careful.”
The promise seemed to reassure Orgus significantly, a wry smile deepening the lines at the corners of his mouth.
“You’d better be, or I’ll have you meditating in the Temple for the rest of your time here,” he warned, smiling. “Or worse, I’ll make you mediate Master Braga’s and Master Kaedan’s debates.”
A sudden chill rippled down Corrain’s spine, the wry grin on his master’s face remarkably mischievous - almost foreboding. Somehow, he didn’t think he wanted to know what Master Braga’s and Master Kaedan’s debates looked like - their opposing philosophies were already well-enough known to cause some contention among Jedi. However, the progenitors of those two schools of thought, engaging in debate?
Nope. He’d much rather be scrubbing freshers than dealing with that.
“Master, I thought the Jedi disapproved of cruel and unusual punishments.”
And they are Bantering! Orgus is being a Dad, he wants Corrain to be safe but he also knows Corrain can't be sheltered forever so he's trying to find safe ways to help Cor with the Kaleth Explorations- and then they banter, because Orgus is quippy and it makes Corrain smile and puts him at ease-
"You sit tight and assist the Twi’leks however you can until I return - you should be safe enough there, as long as you are careful when you explore Kaleth. And if you do see Bengal - contact me immediately. Do not engage him. Understand?”
Corrain nodded, dipping his head as Orgus wagged a finger at him reprovingly. The layer of calm weighed gently on his shoulders, like a thick blanket on a cold Alderaanian night, comfortable and cozy. Suddenly, he felt sleepy, exhausted from his two days of watchful caution in Kaleth and the return journey. Was the adrenaline finally starting to die down? Or was it the way the gentle warmth and peace of Tython’s presence and his master’s reassurance seemed to envelop him, lifting away the anxiety that kept him awake?
“I understand, Master - no sibling rivalries with the other Padawan or we’ll both be meditating in the Temple for a millennium,” he yawned, absently poking fun at the man before him- and before what he’d said could register, Orgus chuckled fondly.
“Alright, you little wisecracker, scoot to bed. I can update Ranna and Moorint on the rest of this without you falling asleep on me.”
“And whose fault is that?” Corrain muttered, sending a sulky little huff through the Force along the subtle current-within and grinned sleepily as Orgus rolled his eyes, still smiling.
“Go, Padawan.”
And Orgus using their budding Force Bond to make Corrain sleepy so his Padawan goes the fuck to sleep instead of trying to overextend himself-
Orgus is one of the only Jedi who not only will straight-up tell Corrain that he's done enough, it's okay for him to rest now, but he'll say that and Corrain will actually listen to him. They're similar people but Orgus sees a younger, more innocent version of himself in Corrain and he wants to protect that as much as he can, and Corrain sees a role model in Orgus, a trusted semi-parental figure he can look up to and learn from regardless of how skilled he becomes.
And then, of course...Corrain loses him. 😭😭😭😭

Companion Post! (Corrain, again :P)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was tagged for this template of SWTOR character as a Companion by @fenrisprime2003 LINK TO TEMPLATE HERE
Character's Name: Corrain Gealai (Gaelic approx: crescent moon)
Alignment: Defaults to Light Side! (DS players can cause him to become a fallen Jedi through gameplay choices)
Class/Weapon: LS - Jedi Sentinel, Ataru and Juyo lightsaber forms (Form IV and Form VII). DS - Lightning Sorcerer, minimal lightsaber combat
Restrictions: Republic characters only until the KOTXX expansion. (Re)appears to all Outlanders during a Star Fortress run during KOTXX as a captured prisoner above Alderaan
Role: LS - DPS only. DS - DPS or Healer
Where/How they are Recruited: PUBSIDE - A Galactic Seasons/sidequest story, in which Republic player characters can assist him with a Flashpoint "Raid on Alderaan" where a Jedi enclave is under attack by Sith forces. Republic characters can either choose to "Evacuate Jedi Initiates" or "Hunt Sith Strike Team." "Evacuating the Initiates" is a LS choice and will lock any DS choices from affecting Corrain in the future - "Hunt Sith Strike Team" is a DS choice and will result in Sith capturing and slaughtering Corrain's creche, which unlocks his DS progression. For Pubside characters, his DS path unlock will stay static until his reappearance on the Star Fortress during KOTXX (explained below), at which point Pubside characters will have the opportunity to unlock DS progression again if they were locked-out the first go-around. IMPSIDE - During Shadow of Revan, Imperial characters will meet him on Manaan, as he will be working with Lana and Theron to expose the Revanites, but he will not become a playable companion until he appears as a prisoner above Alderaan during the Star Fortress missions. Imperial characters will have to make two choices while he is helping them explore the Star Fortress he was taken prisoner on - the first one is a classic Spare (LS) or Kill (DS) for the Star Fortress's Exarch, and the second choice is to either Destroy the Star Fortress (DS) or to Disable the Star Fortress (LS). Corrain will protest destroying the Star Fortress, as there are still prisoners aboard, and you'll get a "greatly disapproves," but player characters will have to choose both DS choices to unlock Corrain's DS path.
Where they stay: Corrain can be found in the "lounge" areas of Republic ships, standing beside whatever couch is present, but will transition to the Force Enclave upon arrival at Odessen during KOTXX. However, if the player chooses to spare Arcann, Corrain will afterwards appear alongside Arcann in the War Room on Odessen.
Bio: Pre-KOTXX Expansions - Abandoned by his mother at birth, the idealistic young Jedi Knight Corrain Gealai was raised in the Jedi enclave on Alderaan, and quickly rose to renown as defender of the Republic and a Paladin of House Organa. Unusually strong in the Force and prone to powerful visions, Corrain has but one memento of his vanished parent - a holorecording that warns of the danger his father, a presumed Sith, poses to him, and some kind of blessing in a language that neither he nor the Jedi Order knows how to comprehend. While eager to explore the mystery surrounding his unknown heritage, Corrain is troubled by the fact that he may have ties to a Sith lord of unknown power. But following the destruction of the enclave he grew up in, a growing sense of disillusionment with the Republic's dark side may be just enough cause for him to abandon caution entirely, and begin searching the shadows for answers. Post-KOTXX Expansions - Abandoned by his mother, a Zakuulan Scion, at birth, the idealistic young Jedi Knight Corrain Gealai was raised in the Jedi enclave on Alderaan, and quickly rose to renown as defender of the Republic. Unusually strong in the Force and prone to powerful visions, Corrain has but one memento of his vanished mother - a holorecording that warns of the danger his father, Valkorion, poses to him, and a Zakuulan prayer to his patron deity, Aivela, goddess of passion. While eager to explore his newfound Zakuulan heritage, Corrain is deeply troubled by his relation to the Immortal Emperor Valkorion and his destructive half-siblings Arcann and Vaylin. Desperate to prove himself unlike the more notorious members of his family, he has thrown himself into studying the methods of Scions of Zakuul, in the hopes of controlling and using his gifts of foresight for the good of the Alliance.
Gifts:
Favorite: Cultural Artifacts
Love: Republic Memorabilia, Technology, Delicacies
Like: Military Gear, Luxury, Imperial Memorabilia, Weapon
Indifferent: Underworld, Courting, Trophy, Maintenance
Likes: (LS) Kindness, pragmatism, fairness, protecting the weak, standing your ground, challenging authority - (DS) pragmatism, power, standing your ground, challenging authority, vengeance, efficiency, logic Dislikes: (LS) Cruelty, harming others for personal gain, bullying, callous sacrifices, blind loyalty, following the rules, hypocrisy - (DS) Cruelty, blind loyalty, following orders, dealing with foolish people, betrayal, self-righteousness, diplomacy, emotional decisions
Allies: (LS) Kira Carsen, T7-01, Orgus Din, Theron Shan, Lana Beniko, Arcann (if spared) - (DS) Theron Shan, Lana Beniko, Lord Scourge, Arcann (if spared), Bengal Morr Enemies: (LS) Lord Nefarid, Darth Angral - (DS) Lord Nefarid, Darth Angral, Jomar Chul
Storyline Roles: If playing a Republic character, Corrain will play a prominent role during the Alderaan world quests and will assist players in removing Boris Ulgo from the Alderaanian throne. During KOTXX, if Corrain is successfully converted to the dark side, Corrain can be installed as a Zakuulan planetary regent, and will afterwards prevent Zakuul from officially withdrawing from the Alliance.
Notable Conversations: If his Dark Side route is unlocked during his Republic-side recruitment quest, DS characters will be able to convince Corrain that the Republic is corrupt and cause him to fall to the Dark Side. Repeated DS decisions and constant critiquing of Republic interests is required. If his Dark Side route is unlocked only during KOTXX, DS characters will be able to convince him to fall to the Dark Side when the Republic refuses to aid the Alliance and Saresh tries to assassinate the Outlander
Companion Mission: Yes, see above "Raid on Alderaan" and Star Fortress references. In addition, Corrain will have one Alliance sidequest just prior to the Nathema Conspiracy that will take him back to Alderaan to visit the destroyed remnants of the Jedi Enclave in which he was raised, and to bid farewell to his connection to the Jedi Order. If Arcann and Senya were spared, Corrain will then ask them to teach him to use the Force as the Zakuulans do, and he will pronounce himself a Scion of Zakuul.
Romanceable: Yes. Corrain's orientation is bisexual, but he can only be successfully romanced on his Light Side track by an LS character, as his DS track will make him somewhat resentful of the player character and make him disdainful of 'senseless passion'.
Romance Arc: Corrain cannot be romanced until after he is rescued from the Star Fortress, but Republic characters can flirt with him throughout their class stories by praising his prowess as a Jedi. Corrain flusters easily when praised and will try to brush off these compliments - he will not flirt back until Shadow of Revan. Following his rescue from the fortress, LS characters who have not unlocked Corrain's DS track can unlock Corrain's romance by affirming his desires to learn about his Zakuulan heritage and (*key point*) sparing Arcann. Sparing Arcann and welcoming him to the Alliance will cause Corrain's insecurities about his relation to Valkorion to abate, and he will pull the player character aside prior to Nathema, where the player will have the option to either "Hug him" (continues friendship) or "Kiss him" (initiates romance)
Major Approval Decisions: Since Corrain is a bonus character during the majority of class stories, he doesn't really have any poignant approves/disapproves there. However, Corrain's major approval points would be 1) Evacuating the Jedi Initiates (pubside recruiting quest) 2) Disabling the Star Fortress and 3) Sparing Arcann (LS). All three of these will net a "Corrain greatly approves." If on his DS track, Corrain will have no reaction to sparing Arcann.
Major Disapproval Decisions: See above for note on class stories. Corrain's major disapproval points would be 1) Destroying the Star Fortress 2) all uses of Valkorion's power, and 3) Releasing Dramath's spirit on Nathema (DS).
Desertion/Death: Corrain cannot be killed, but if on his DS track a DS character can install him as the Zakuulan regent, at which point Corrain will depart from the Alliance to live on Zakuul
Oh, and a link to the companion post where you can see some of his voicelines! (those are assuming he has Main Character/Outlander status though, rather than Side Character status as is chatted about here)
no-pressure tags!: @voiceofthetraveler @squidleyjohnjones @borealtwilight @darthcatboy @plotbunny-bundle and @magicallulu7! and anyone else who sees and is interested, hehehe

WIP Whenever!
Tumblr media
I got tagged by @ipreferfiction, and I hereafter subject the following people to this (optional) tag game, with whatever you count as a WIP: @fenrisprime2003, @darthcatboy, @darth-nessight, @borealtwilight, @magicallulu7, and @starwers! (and anyone else who has a WIP rattling around inside their skulls like I do <3)
SO, A WIP: From after the creation of the Emperor's Blade (aka "Lord Lune") on board the Fortress - Corrain has Fallen by this point, but he hasn't been beaten into submission. They never quite manage that. But he's not a Jedi by this point, and he knows it.
TW: whump/torture, because Corrain *never* gets a damn break
"You will learn your place, Blade, or you will suffer until you are cowed into submission. Try again."
The words cut through the frigid, fluttering haze of blood loss and the accompanying agony searing his back in latticework patterns, disgust and fury laced through Chaskar's tone. Corrain spat bitterly, blocking out the wavering darkness leeching strength from the edges of his vision, and set his face against the pillar he'd been chained to, hands bound above his head, barbed cuffs digging razor edges deep into his wrists and sending warmth spilling down the trembling length of his arms.
Everything hurt, all over again - heart, soul, mind and body, nothing had been spared from being torn in half. Yet again. But he couldn't help but bare his teeth, the burn of furious ice in his chest fueling the only thing he had left with which to keep himself sane.
Furious, unyielding defiance.
"Go fuck yourself," he snarled thinly, and molten fire snapped across his shoulder blades again, the crack of Chaskar's whip drowning out his groan of pain. Skin split beneath the leather and chain weapon, yet another long gash to add to the already substantial collection. He wobbled briefly, grey suffusing his vision- and then with a vicious growl, forced it back, clinging to the howling gale of pain and anger and clawing, churning hatred storming in his chest to keep awake. To keep conscious, for just a moment longer - because once he passed out he'd be helpless.
It was all that kept him going, now. All that kept him from breaking into a hollow shell of compliance. And to think he'd once eschewed it as destructive and useless. He wanted to cry and laugh all at once, loathing clinging to each strained breath as it left his lips, and as the whip cracked down again he slipped further towards the dark.
Lightning crackled briefly between his fingertips, fury sour and cold in the Force around him. He reached for it blindly, plunging both hands into the shadow. It slipped from his grasp tauntingly - but not before his hand burned with cold and the static cling snapped in white bolts to the floor below.
Chaskar laughed mockingly at him.
"Such hate, apprentice. To think you were once a Jedi..."
Something snapped- rage igniting like liquid adrenaline, and he tore at the barbed bonds holding him in place, flesh tearing as he lunged, blind with pain physical and emotional. Chaskar crowed in surprise, stumbling backward, his scarlet face the focus of Corrain's narrowing vision, thready beats of shock and blood loss reverberating inside his head.
And then-
"Keyword, lunar regolith. Kneel, Blade."
He seized up instantly, the guttering candle flame of his free will snuffed, his thoughts muffled with a blanket of barbed wire. He blinked into a sudden headache kaleidoscope of color and pain, head throbbing, skull splitting- and knelt obediently, limbs heavy.
Chaskar sighed theatrically, and then agony cracked across one half of Corrain's face, stars flashing brilliantly across a greying background world. The Sith had kicked him, boot striking cheekbone.
He collapsed to one side, his brain a leaden weight inside his skull, pain pulsing from his shredded wrists and back and face. Even the frigid burn of anger could not longer clear the haze of creeping unconsciousness from his field of of vision, no matter how he tried.
"I almost admire the depth of your rage, apprentice," Chaskar hummed then. "It fuels you beautifully."
There was a beat of silence, the withering tendrils of his captor and master's face blurring to smudges. Pain was fading from his senses now- he could only just manage to keep aware enough to hear the steady thud of approaching footsteps. And then-
"Lord Chaskar. He is at his limit."
The deep voice was a familiar one, a low baritone that vaguely reminded Corrain not of safety or comfort, necessarily, but at least of tolerance. He tried to blink- but his eyes were shut, lids heavy. When had he closed them?
"I'm aware, my Lord Wrath - that was the goal today. Are you here to clean up this mess?"
"...mind your tongue, lest you lose it. Need I remind you that though you are this one's handler, I am the one that holds your leash?"
Oh, that was an interesting tidbit. It had been said so softly though…
Ah. He was fading
"...no, my lord."
"Good."

How did Corrian handle Theron’s betrayal?
>:3c
Corrain doesn't handle Theron's betrayal well, but it's not entirely his fault. Making it worse, he can sense that it is not a true betrayal, even if he doesn't know what actually is going on, and there's a LOT stressing him out besides his husband Pulling Some Shit.
See, Corrain is fuckoff powerful in the Force, right? But that gift tends to present itself in a few specific ways, one being powerful visions of the future. And right around this point in time, not only is he preparing to take the throne of and actually lead Zakuul while simultaneously trying to democratize their government to some extent, and mediate peace talks between the Sith Empire (which is afterwards divided in half when Malgus escapes with a bunch of pissed off Sith and creates the True Sith Empire and promptly starts a semi-civil-war) and the Republic....but he's also having a series of strong, really-mindfucky visions and for the first time he cannot tell what the Force is trying to guide him toward. Not that his visions are ever clear, of course - they tend to be very metaphorical and only show him little snippets of actual moments of the future - but when Vitiate/Valkorion was his opponent he thought he understood them. Now he doesn't have a clue what they mean, only that something is coming and whatever it is, it's entirely possible it will be worse than Vitiate eating planets.
So, with this kind of Ominous Portent hanging over his head combined with the galactipolicital situation and his own impending coronation and the additional fact that he can sense that not everything is as it seems with Theron and that betrayal...he just doesn't have *any* idea of what's really going on and he's scared. He knows something awful is coming but he doesn't know what it is or how to stop it and he THOUGHT it was Valkorion but he's still having the visions and even worse, the visions seem to be guiding him toward this Awful Thing.
And then Theron crashes the train on Umbara. Corrain can tell something's off the entire time and he's desperate to stop it and the visions from coming to pass but he doesn't know how - and so when Theron turns on him, it breaks him. Visibly. He loses control - and with a strength in the Force like he has, that means a lot of accidental Force Lightning. And, well. He shorts out the control panel on the train as it's accelerating. So it...doesn't stop accelerating. None of them notice until Theron takes off on the speeder stored for his getaway and is horrified to realize that the warning lights are blaring and the sabotaged electromagnetic train pulsars have already been set to blow. This means when the train crashes, Corrain (being a self-sacrificing idiot) tries to break Lana's fall at the cost of protecting himself, and is nearly killed on impact. Lana has to carry him to safety and arrange a medical transport, and he spends a few days in a kolto tank, recovering.
This accidental assassination almost-success has the dual effect of shattering both Theron and Lana, and making the Order of Zildrog FAR more trusting of Theron. It also means 95% of the Alliance, Vaylin and Arcann now included, are furious with Theron. (Keep in mind - the three of them are 'secretly' married at this point, which of course means the entire galaxy knows lmao). And this also means that when Corrain gets on air, about a week later, he's all but begging Theron to come home (because he can sense this wasn't a true betrayal but he doesn't know why it's happening), and pretty much everyone that knows him thinks it's the desperate, delusional plea of a heartbroken man. He also prevents the Chiss Ascendancy from shooting down Theron's ship on Copero with anti-spacecraft guns when they offer to do so. Even Lana only half-believes that he's actually been able to sense Theron's intentions, and it's only because she's generally sensed the same thing - only, she's keeping quiet and levelheaded about it, because she once did something similar to Theron on Rishi, and she knows he'd have clued them in if he were able. (If he were thinking straight about the situation, Corrain would be doing the same. He is not thinking straight. He is terrified because he is an unwilling Oracle for disaster and now THIS is happening-)
This obstinate inability to believe in Theron's betrayal ends up making it somewhat more difficult for the Alliance later, when my Canon Divergence happens with the remainder of the Zildrog arc (i.e. Zildrog isn't the Gravestone wtf bioware). Because sure, Corrain was objectively correct about Theron's betrayal - but now there's doubt about whether that was certainty born out of genuine objectivity, or wilfull blindness to a potentially devastating truth? (Answer: both tbh)
So when he starts having terrifying visions about [redacted], the leaders in the Republic and Empire pay mostly lip service to his warnings and calls for genuine peace and reform and go back to skirmishing. And then, of course, disaster strikes and his credibility comes back in full, but that's another story.
Thank you for the ask!!!!! I'm sorry it took so long to answer.

What is Corrain’s relationship like with Kira and Scourge?
AHAHAHAHAHA okay this is a FANTASTIC question but about half of it is pretty dark, lmao (not Kira she's perfect <3)
So, Kira and Corrain. Prior to a certain Fortress Incident, they're fast friends - the only people closer to him than she is are his crechemasters (who end up murdered by Sith on Alderaan) and Orgus. She helps him cope with the grief of losing Orgus so suddenly and so soon after the creche he grew up in was destroyed, and in return he supports her and believes in her even against the Council. I wouldn't say they're inseparable, and they're definitively not romantic, but the platonic bond there is extremely strong
Part of this is because Corrain is four years younger than Kira despite being promoted to Knight earlier, and while he has more Jedi Experience, Kira has more real life outside the Order experience. So they both end up learning a lot from each other while she's his Padawan - though he's insecure about teaching her at first, he grows far more comfortable with the situation once they realize they're teaching each other more than anything.
After the Fortress, however - Corrain pushes everyone away, both out of misdirected anger and self-loathing, and the crushing guilt he feels regarding his time as the Emperor's personal weapon. Kira isn't exempt from this closing-off by any means, but she is one of the people that keeps trying to needle through his walls and get him to start healing. The pressure is necessary, for sure, but it hurts their relationship for a long time afterward while he's being treated for the trauma he'd undergone. Ultimately he's able to apologize for being so guarded and defensive, and heal the rift in their relationship, but that's after the KOTXX arcs once Kira and Scourge arrive to talk with the Alliance regarding Tenebrae's escape into the ether (again).
Now...as for Scourge.
Corrain's relationship with him is EXTREMELY convoluted and entirely an unhealthy onesided dependency throughout most of the "Chapter Three" events. Corrain is blatantly aware that Scourge is and was manipulating him (Scourge isn't trying to be subtle about it) and yet he's so incredibly destroyed by what happened to him on board the Fortress that he lets it happen - even embraces it, to some extent. And Scourge takes blatant advantage of this - of Corrain's bitter, angry, mistrustful state and just keeps influencing him, keeps trying to pull him to the Dark side. A lot of really fucked-up torture, both psychological and physical, happens to Corrain on board the Fortress, and Scourge orchestrates a lot of it in order to frame himself as "the reasonable one" who's at least honest about wanting to use Corrain for his own ends.
However, at some point Scourge starts to understand that Corrain will never completely Fall, not while he's sane - and more to the point, he starts to understand that Corrain is stronger when he's not falling to pieces due to unresolved trauma. This comes to a head when Corrain finally faces off against Vitiate, nearly killing himself in his single-minded drive for vengeance and freedom. Scourge is the one that finds him as the Dark Temple is collapsing and Vitiate's ghostly presence is retreating - and after Corrain spends a week in the kolto baths and even longer in the critical care medbays, he decides that an unstable Darkside Corrain is actually more dangerous and less effective than a stable, Lightside one.
It's only after this semi-death of Vitiate's and the ensuing Jedi Therapy Corrain puts himself through that their relationship starts to transition from one of Handler and Weapon to one that's a lot more equal. Scourge starts to begrudgingly acknowledge and even approve of Corrain having agency over himself - and Corrain stops looking to Scourge for correction and direction. They stay odd Sith Confidants - Scourge is the one person Corrain can trust not to care when he's feeling violent, and Corrain is the one person Scourge trusts to at least listen when he's trying to plan.
By the time of KOTXX they're...not quite friends? But there's a mutual respect there, and an understanding that between them there's a space where the dark side is allowed to and does exist - Scourge has seen and contributed to Corrain hitting his lowest lows, but he also kept Corrain from breaking entirely on the Fortress and...well. There's a lot of resentment and gratitude and admiration all in one.
There's another layer to their relationship as well - but it's a darkfic layer, and I don't think I'll directly put it in "Crescent Moon Rising" so it'll just stay in my head, lmao

Jedi whump and angst? Don't mind if I do 😈 How about a sadistic choice scenario? Rescue a bunch of civilians or a single SIS agent with critical information that could possibly save a lot of lives later?
Edit: look what you did. it's a whole damn CHAPTER- XDDDDD THIS IS THE JAXO QUESTION BUT SO MUCH WORSE I AM GOING TO SCREAM- Anyway! Have this lil thingy I cooked up. It's set shortly after dueling Arcann on Asylum, hehe. It's not completely whump/blorbabuse, but it IS pure unadulterated angst, heh. And MCD. Sort of-not really- I promise everyone is mostly-fine! Except Corrain. I uh. beat up my faves. oops.
-
"-Arcann has scores of the Ossan's crew here. Almost seven hundred of them - and easily another hundred civilians from the planet below."
Theron's voice was twisted with that telltale mix of contempt and icy calm that meant he was seconds away from exploding, his words clipped over the static of the earpiece. Corrain dove through yet another blue-lit corridor in lieu of answering, pale golden blades carving a charred path through the endless Skytroopers. Behind him, Lana growled and beheaded yet another droid, lightning flashing in the brilliant acid gold of her eyes.
"I can imagine the Exarchs treated them...unpleasantly," she huffed, only a touch out of breath from the slog of fighting through four levels of droids.
"Unpleasantly? I'd almost rather be in an Imperial prison," Theron hissed. It was enough to give Corrain pause, darting into a nearby maintenance shaft, Lana still hot on his tail. A snarl curdled unbidden on his face.
"I doubt that," he sneered, before he could stop himself, the familiar bitter ice of anger sliding into his chest. The comm crackled with sudden static silence. Lana put a hand on his shoulder, her expression tense but understanding, and squeezed gently. He paused for a moment, trying to draw back the instinctive growl, and took a deep breath.
"Right. Out of line. Sorry, Theron."
"No, I get it, Cor. Not much can compare to what you went through - but trust me. This...probably comes closer than most."
"For their sake, I hope not," he replied, tone sliding towards worried at Theron's strangled commentary. "Force- I hope not."
He and Lana cut through three more corridors of Skytroopers and Zakuulan knights on the main level, Theron keeping up a running commentary on his own progress in the underbelly of the Star Fortress's maintenance shafts the whole time. He was busy wrecking the station's weaponry and defenses and generally causing enough mayhem on board to divert at least some of the Exarch's forces to repairing the damage - and as usual, he was having entirely too much fun with it. Corrain would have smiled if the mission hadn't been quite so heavy.
But finally, a string of groaning bodies and dismembered droids in their wake, he and Lana made it to the Star Fortress's control center. The doors were familiar bronzed metal, the locking mechanism melting in seconds under the application of a lightsaber. Lana kicked the steaming door-segment down with a flourish and winked wickedly, gesturing to the new hole.
"After you, darling Commander."
"My money's on a rosy blush there, Lana."
"Hmmm...I'll give it to you. I did try for cherry but he doesn't blush quite as brightly nowadays..."
"He's gotten used to us being sweet on him."
Corrain huffed at them, face burning, but Theron's laugh over his earpiece and Lana's teasing grin were infectious.
"Can you two not," he complained, ducking through the makeshift, smoking doorway. "We're almost-"
He blinked, bronzed hallways and blue Zakuulan floor lighting vanishing, the stark red and grey durasteel of an Imperial Command center greeting him instead. It looked nearly defunct, scorch marks sizzling on every surface, the telltale angry orange of lightsaber-melted metal scored through the walls and floors. The faint scent of smoke and burned flesh filled the air.
Suddenly, the entire station lurched sharply, hurling him and Lana into the room, terrified screaming beginning to drift up from the lower levels like a chorus of the damned. He choked, reaching out- the cloying, frigid cold of fear numbing his Force-senses, drowning him in icy depths. Static crackled in his ear again, and he turned, looking helplessly back at the hallway they'd just come from only to see the blank, unbroken transparisteel windows of the Emperor's Fortress, a lightless void of space echoing beyond.
-panic...scream...
The station lurched wildly again, a curse drifting over the commlink in his ear, faded in the face of his confusion and drifting horror. Theron. Theron, alone on the maintenance decks.
"We're taking heavy fire, Corrain!" Lana cried then, already at the controls- magically working despite the charred interface, her hands flying across the station controls. "We need to get the shields up or we're all going to die here!"
He blinked- suddenly the wide windows behind him alight with cannon fire, red bolts striking the station's hull. Overhead, the lights flickered. The screaming of the trapped prisoners grew louder, echoing inside his head. There was a hiss over the earpiece. Lana clicked her tongue, suddenly, pulling up a power routing schematic. Corrain studied it for a minute, fog inside his skull growing thicker, uncomprehending as Lana swore violently.
"Theron. Theron get out of there - shield power is at six percent. One more salvo from the Fleet and we're as good as dead - the only option is to power down and depressurize every maintenance level. It'll buy us enough time to get the Ossan's crew to safety."
"...Lana, the maintenance levels are crawling with Skytroopers," Theron said after a long, tense moment, his tone wavering with quiet acceptance. "I don't know if I can make it back in time."
Lana's expression tightened, her hands trembling on the console. Sluggish understanding crept through Corrain's head, the gravity of what that meant tearing something deep within his chest asunder.
"No-" he gasped out, eyes widening. He couldn't let this happen. "No- Theron, I'll come find you-"
"Cor, I'm at the other end of the Fortress, even you couldn't make it," Theron cut him off midsentence, his tone business like as usual, hiding a tremor. "Lana- how long until the Fleet fires again?"
"Less than five minutes- Theron-"
"There's no choice here," the spy snapped suddenly. "I'm not having you two save me and condemn eight hundred innocent people to death!"
Corrain lunged for the controls then, desperately scrolling, typing- but the software glitched violently, the schematic of power rerouting blinking out and then reappearing, the commands to depressurize the maintenance levels already typed in somehow, lines of code and text blurring. Lana wrapped an arm around his chest, squeezing- he couldn't breathe. Breathing hurt, phantom pains ripping his heart out, shredding organ and bone and flesh and- he blinked, time passed- sickly cold rolled through him, chilling him to the core-
He couldn't. He couldn't do this.
Lana disappeared in a soft wisp of smoke, the choking pressure of Vitiate's presence a lingering echo. Theron coughed sharply over the earpiece again-
"Cor. Corrain, you have to let me go."
"I- I can't-"
"You can. You have to. You can't sacrifice hundreds of innocent people for me."
(could he?)
...activity...fever is...infection?
"I can't lose you, Theron!"
He couldn't- not Theron, not Lana, the only two people he'd trusted with heart, body and soul- it would be worse than losing Orgus. Worse than losing the Jedi who'd raised him, from infant to Initiate- he couldn't-
"You're a Jedi, Corrain, you can't choose one life over eight hundred just because it's me!"
A Jedi- He was a Jedi - but was he really? Eight hundred was a drop in the bucket after- after Vitiate had forced him to- had forced him- The screaming from below grew louder again, fracturing the edges of his attention-
"...I can't."
He couldn't make himself hit submit - he was frozen, staring at the enter key which would reroute power and send his beloved spy hurtling into the vacuum of space. Pain throbbed through his chest cavity, heart bleeding ice into his lungs and stomach. Thunder roared in his ears, a heartbeat agonizing with an inability to decide, an inability to let go-
"...Then- I'm so sorry, Cor. I love you. Keyword: lunar regolith. Reroute power to the shields."
Horror- anger, fury beyond belief, a betrayal more profound than any other- terror, tearing at the inside of his heart like glass through cloth- How did Theron know that, no one knew that phrase anymore, no one besides him- not even Valkorion- and then he was moving again- moving to commit another atrocity, another murder-
Echoing silence rang suddenly in the station, his hands typing in the final strokes on autopilot- He sobbed, fighting futilely with his own body, straining against a force he'd never truly defeated, not even when he'd stood over Vitiate's broken body and drove a lightsaber through his skull. Theron's voice kept going, soft and sad in his ear.
"Cor, you'll be okay. I promise, you'll be okay. And I'm s-so sorry. I love you so-"
An echoing hiss, and then static.
Silence.
-
He woke up to the blur of soft medbay lights blinding overhead and drying tears carving cold arcs down his face. Cold- sickly cold, a burning cold that at once left him chilled to the marrow and burning hot, ate at the little strength he had, sapping him. For a moment, he just lay there, his memory garbled and body like wet noodles, dreamlike static sizzling in his ears, trying to piece together the shattered recollection of Theron's voice echoing softly in his ear, of Lana's hold on him turning to agony and relief all in one-
"...Corrain?"
A familiar voice- raw from exhaustion, the light accent only barely hiding the distress radiating from her. A blonde blur slid carefully into the white glow of the overhead lights, a smudge of soft gold with catlike golden eyes. He stared, blinking once - the haze only cleared enough to reveal more distinct facial features.
Lana.
"Force. Force, you're awake," she whispered, and he felt the edge of the bed he lay on dip slightly as she turned, sat down next to him. Gentle warmth enveloped one of his hands, a soft, shaky exhale leaving her lips as her fingers laced through his, her free hand pressing two fingers to the inside of his wrist, testing his pulse. Slowly, he tried to squeeze reassuringly- but the effort was vast, that slight movement sending stars sparking around the edges of his field of vision.
The soft replay of Theron's voice- cutting off into void static-
He took a breath- pain exploded through his lower ribcage, vicious even against the numbing effects of weakness and- painkiller? Kolto? Motes of understanding were slipping back, and slowly he became aware of the tube in his nose, the mask on his face and kolto pumps carefully attached to his chest, the tubes feeding into his arm. His chest ached bitterly, agony dulled in every shallow breath- from a lightsaber wound. Arcann's.
Memory came flooding back in a deluge of sudden relief. It had been a dream. Theron was fine- neither he nor Lana knew Corrain's keyword. It was just a nightmare. A nightmare borne of Arcann's lightsaber spearing fully through his body, and the brush with death that followed.
"...where...?"
His voice was cracked, barely a whisper, but it was all he could muster. Everything felt heavy and leaden. Lana choked back a wobbling little noise, tears standing unshed in her eyes, but she tried to smile.
"In the medbay on a planet called Odessen, close to the Unknown Regions," she explained, her expression strained but intensely relieved. "...you've been unconscious for almost a week now. We...we didn't think you were going to wake up."
There was a beat of silence, this information processing at an achingly slow pace, and then another voice echoed, as if coming from down a hallway. Another familiar voice, weary with worry.
"Lana, who are you talking- kriffing hell."
A blur of brown and red whirled around to the other side of his berth, the glint of metal at one temple enough to give away the game even before the hazy vision of post-injury could clear enough to let him see who it was. Theron strangled a sob as he skidded to a stop, relief pouring from him in waves.
"Stars. I thought-" Theron cut himself off midsentence, reaching for Lana with one hand even as he brought the other to Corrain's face, cupping one cheek tenderly. His hand was pleasantly cool against the fevered icyhot of Corrain's skin. And he was- he was alive. And well.
They were both alive and well, and the dream had been just that. A dream.
"...you're both okay..." Corrain breathed again, closing his eyes and leaning into Theron's grasp with an exhausted sigh. "...both okay..."
Theron and Lana both laughed at that, the sound tight and incredulous, but heartachingly fond.
"You're one to talk."

Does any of your Ocs have any pets?
Humm, good question! I haven't really thought about it.
If any of them did, Deitente and Astayr would be tied for the two most likely to have pets, with Kalvonut in third. Deitente would have some type of cat-ish animal - something that doesn't need a lot of attention to flourish but still will cuddle on occasion - and Astayr would have the gffa equivalent of a Mastiff or Great Dane, big, affectionate and slobbery XD.

(not) Six Sentence (definitely not) Sunday!
Thank you for the tags @swtorpadawan and @magicallulu7!
WIP: Crescent Moon Rising, Chapter 3
Patience.
Orgus. He sighed heavily, but- his master was right. He needed patience. He couldn’t rush ahead out of guilt, or frustration, or even blind compassion. For even if his skills were sharp and his connection to the Force strong beyond many of his peers and seniors, he was still learning to know himself. And the more he tried to rush, the less quickly he’d learn, and the longer it would take for him to be able to truly help the people of the galaxy.
There was a sudden puff of his master’s amusement through the echoes of their developing bond, like the gentle wind tangling his white fringe into a blizzardy mess on his head - and it curled fondly about him, prickling with the finest hints of exasperation. Corrain blinked owlishly into the roaring flames, nonplussed by the response- and then startled in surprise when Ranna’s hand landed solidly on his shoulder, her expression wobbling with concern.

What Corrain's relationship with his siblings like? How much older is he then his half siblings?
After the dust settles...he's on surprisingly good terms with them, actually - and both Vaylin and Arcann survive.
Chronologically, he's less than a year older than Arcann - maybe around seven or eight months older - and therefore just about three-to-four years older than Vaylin. So...when he's finally freed from the carbonite, he's therefore younger than *both* of his siblings, a fact which they will forever rub in his face. The numbers are as follows - Corrain is taken prisoner by Zakuul when he's 24 and some change - at which point Vaylin is just 21, and Arcann is about to turn 24. Then, when he's unfrozen, he's still 24 (almost 25), but Arcann is 29 and Vaylin is 26.
What changes everything for their relationship - and more importantly, helps Vaylin to avoid death - is a combination of three things. - One - Arcann and Corrain are told by Valkorion that they're brothers to knock them off-kilter. It's a massive shock to both of them, but Arcann's focus thereafter twists to *Corrain being the rightful heir to Zakuul* and more Scion prophecies predicting his fall from power at 'his brother's hands' and etc. Arcann doesn't want to believe that he has another brother, especially one that Valkorion has appeared to favor over him for No Apparent Reason (again) - but that connection makes the fight between them personal in the "I want our father to acknowledge ME" vein, rather than "Emperor Trying to Crush Annoying Ant." So when Corrain displays both his strength in the Force, untainted by Valkorion, and how cruel Valkorion's hold on him is during their battle over Odessen, Arcann starts to understand why Corrain was the one able to kill their father and stops being quite so jealous and wary of him. - Two - Corrain hates Valkorion because of the Castellan Restraints. With every fiber of his being. It's a hatred that cannot be forgiven or forgotten - he will literally destroy himself (and has before) to kill Valkorion/Vitiate, and it all stems from Corrain's time on board the Emperor's Fortress. It's the depth and breadth of this fury that eventually convinces Vaylin and Arcann of his truthfulness in his overtures to ally with them against Valkorion - and in Vaylin's case especially, it's his understanding of what it feels like to be conditioned against your will. Corrain knows what it's like to be Vitiate's tool, and therefore intimately understands both Arcann and Vaylin's underlying motivations - Arcann's being to prove himself better than what Valkorion thought of him, and Vaylin's being to set herself free from Valkorion's control at any cost. - Three - Corrain and Vaylin are paired in the Force - they're a Dyad. They're two sides of the same coin, both of whom suffered near-identical forms of torture and control at Valkorion's hand, but their backgrounds split them - Corrain didn't completely break thanks to his Jedi training, while Vaylin did. So when their Force Bond first forms while she's visiting Arcann's carbonite vaults - he understands everything she's ever felt about Valkorion, but he came out of that horror able to heal from it. And his connection to the light side of the Force slowly helps Vaylin to grow more stable over time - it reintroduces her to emotions beyond hate and pain and cruelty - and by the time Corrain breaks out, she's both more stable mentally and more aware of her own motivations and emotions. Ergo - when Corrain calls out to her during her party on Zakuul, pointing out that she really doesn't want power, she wants freedom, but the only freedom she's ever known is THROUGH power and if she'd just give him a chance he could prove her wrong- she realizes he's right, because she's in a much less anguished state of mind. So she throws down the gauntlet - a "let me unlock my powers, then fight me to prove you're strong enough to do what you say you can, and I'll cede the throne to you" - instead of going on rampage. She's also more stable throughout Arcann's time on the throne, and gives Corrain insider assistance at times, because she's trying to figure out how Arcann sees her.
This all means that the Arcann in my plot surrenders to Corrain on Voss, because he finally trusts in Corrain's motivations and compassion - he doesn't feel the need to run. And when Corrain wins the duel with Vaylin on Nathema (and accidentally restores the planet in the process) Vaylin is thereafter loyal to him, because he did what he promised and is 'strong enough' to protect her free will from Valkorion.
Both Vaylin and Arcann in the Moonrise Legacy are stripped of any real decision-making authority, which they both understand, but Corrain names Vaylin the captain of his personal guard, and names Arcann as an advisor to the legislative body he creates on Zakuul after he takes the throne as a sign of trust in them on a personal level. And unlike him and Iomlan, who agree to have a more adult-to-adult kind of friendship, the three of them do manage to connect as siblings after a while, and Vaylin and Arcann are both part of the few in attendance when Corrain, Theron and Lana finally get married.
