Okay, so I’ve been watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager(because I was a child when the show was on) so I’m totally gonna rant about a show that is many years old, and honestly, it’s a good show, but I feel like everyone was very hard on Amy for the fact that she got pregnant at 15.

Yes, she got pregnant extremely early in her life but she shouldn’t have to deal with people throwing hateful comments at her every five seconds because they can’t think of anything else when they’re mad at her. Even Ashley her own sister would say bad things about her. Like when their dad was saying why they couldn’t get a dog and she said he was about to say Amy wasn’t as smart as the dogs and continued to compare her to one by saying that she was good at laying down and rolling over.

Bruh that is so harsh and something I would completely stop talking to someone for, even if they are my sibling. Basically what I’m saying is yes, she made a mistake by sleeping with someone and ended up getting pregnant but she didn’t need a billion people reminding her of that mistake every single day of her life, it’s so disrespectful.

I remember when Ashley put her down again by saying that she needs everyone’s help with her baby when Amy had him 98% of the time unless Ricky came by to see him. I just feel like everyone that basically forced her to keep him, even after she was very adamant about putting him up for adoption because she wanted to make sure he had the best are now throwing hateful remarks her way at any chance they get.

I’ve wanted to punch people about a billion times in their faces by now. Don’t even get me started on Adrian. Why the heck did the writers write her so obsessed with Ricky? like I get he’s cute but chile, if you don’t drop that boy! It’s honestly sad and annoying at the same time but I never wanted to slap her until she taunted Amy with the fact that she was gonna touch her son after Amy specifically didn’t want her to like if I had a kid and someone I said I didn’t want to touch my child continued to do so, I would kill!!

Rewatching Secret Life of the American Teenager and boy is it soooo bad, like its soo bad, literally in episode 4 there have been 2 people strip their shirts inside a highschool with no teachers immediately jumping down their throats, but my boyfriend kissed my cheek and we got yelled at by a teacher when I was in highschool.
