people act like being intentionally whimsical is inherently more annoying than being intentionally serious but why. suppose my temper is just naturally whimsical.

#the thing with punching bag characters (atleast the ones that rise to my faves) like Skinner is that I want them to be happy #but they're so goddamn easy to bully and traumatize even further. I kinda get infected by the same thought process the show writers get #I want to slam him into a locker for a joke and at the same time I want him to get away from his situation and move onto a happier one #and I know they're super contradictory desires to have but it's just the versatility characters like him exude #by the nature of their personalities vs their living situation. Skinner can be so goofy and joyous in his nerdiness and that's adorable #and yet he seems so entrenched in the idea that Agnes is all he has that he doesn't even seem to register most of her behavior as abuse #and something to get away from. and that's so upsetting. Did I draw this? Nope, this ship art is me cutting up the art for Miku and Teto and bending it to my will. I did need to do quite a bit of drawing to fill in some parts or make stuff I couldn’t just cut off their bodies. This took like 2-3 hours? I honestly don’t remember since I was so in the zone.

Also a time lapse of the process, the description I gave may not be super clear so this will help. (PS - I had fun with the audio so be warned.)

so just wondering, do y'all ever think about Astarion watching Tav/Durge

and how at first he didn't much care for them or care to watch them, but they catch his eye now and then despite it, because after all, it's hard to deny they have a magnetism to them, no matter how well he does (or doesn't) get along with them
