They let me on the Gilbert and Sullivan Discord and now I have a found family AU rattling around in my head where Ralph Rackstraw, Frederic and John Wellington Wells are all brothers and also somehow Murgatroyds, Ruth and Wells used to be engaged (they meet again when Wells gets captured by pirates), and all of this is set during a zombie apocalypse because offcourse it is.
Jack Point, Elsie, Phoebe, Koko and Katisha are also there because I love them.
Help.
(I wish I actually could write this I'm all story ideas and no words on paper🥲)

21+ | nb ! looking for literate writers who are interested in plot-centric, character-driven threads that focus on worldbuilding. i don't mind doubling, or writing multiple characters for one thread. i'm also interested in crossovers, one universe bleeding into another (bleach characters popping up in naruto or vice versa for example), or giving canon characters verses. as for shipping — anything flies as long as there's chemistry. i would prefer to stick to canon muses, but well thoughtout ocs are also appreciated! only requirement is patience, i work 2 jobs and also study, so replies may vary from twice a week to once a week, a notice will be given if life gets busy. i mostly write on discord. given that most of the writing is plot-heavy, there likely won't be speedy replies.
fandoms and aus i'm interested in :
☆ naruto (any canon-divergent timeline that excludes kaguya. would love to go back to the original idea of naruto — have more politics, gangs, expand the world a bit. time travel aus are also fun. any modern reinterpretation, we can talk headcanons and so on. verses for bleach, jjk, and other fandoms are also welcome!)
☆ bleach (exploring the early days of bleach, slice-of-life that leads into more action-packed plots. crossovers and verses are really welcome)
☆ jujutsu kaisen (same as bleach, survival aus, too, zombie apocalypse or any aus)
☆ hxh (anything that focuses on the spiders, found family trope, put more emphasis on the license exam, or even come up with our own license exam, au, crossovers and verses)
☆ castlevania (mostly the netflix drama since i'm not familiar with the games, again expansion on world-building and what each vampire brings to the table, we can expand on clans, include more supernatural elements)
☆ x-men (anything from crossovers, verses, aus, including other characters into this universe, i don't really care so much about canon as much as character-driven threads)
☆ dc (as a more noir or gothic setting, focus heavily on the characters and their journeys)
☆ marvel (mostly spiderman, but we can discuss this, same as all of the above)
☆ some cartoons (totally spies, juniper lee, w.i.t.c.h., american dragon, samurai jack, etc)
☆ atla (worldbuilding, crossovers, and canon divergences are more than welcome)
☆ death note (expanding the universe, building our own cases, as with all of the above, one universe bleeding into the other or just giving DN characters verses for other fandoms)
☆ wednesday (exploring the world and adding our own twists, we can definitely talk ocs here)
like this ask and i'll reach out! please don't like this if you're only interested in nsfw plots, i really want to create more with these worlds, and i'm looking for literate writers, we can have separate text channels for anything more light-hearted. thanks!

Zombie Apocalypse Oc RP
Trigger Warning (for Rp): The male oc I want to use for this specific Rp has a history of mental health issues, specifically self-harm and Depression, which I personally would prefer to run through into the Rp itself. And the backstory of both my Oc’s involves parental/maternal death as well.
I have two Oc’s which I want to use for an RP. I can send over my Oc’s Pint-rest boards and generally I’ll explain a bit about them if you have any questions or need any clarification. Basically I would be using siblings though. The boy - Marlon is trans, gay and he is 18, he’s deaf, for which has had a cochlear implant since he was a baby and he suffers from chronic pain and fatigue, his sister Jasmine is cis, and straight. So this would be mxm (for Marlon) and mxf (for Jasmine) and please come with 2 Oc’s to begin with, I am happy to add more as we progress, more than happy to but we can discuss the exact details in pms.
This Rp would start when my Oc’s have to take to the road, Marlon is 18 at the time, I will explain his journey in the pms. As for Jasmine she is 24, and their mother father are dead, and well this rp this does go into some dark themes/sensitive topics, especially considering Marlon, so I would prefer a. if my rp partners were at least 18 for this one and also otherwise ok with dark themes/sensitive topics.
I can do this here or on Discord I don’t have a preference, so let me know which you’d prefer, if interested please comment or Pm me, I am dying to do this Rp. Please know that I do try and work with others triggers, I don’t like making others uncomfortable, so let me know what I can do to accommodate you if necessary. I appreciate not everyone is comfortable exploring topics like mental health etc in roleplay, though I specifically designed these Oc’s to be that way as I personally have a interest in involving sensitive content in Rps. Please be as active as possible with your replies with your replies.

hi friends, i’m 24f she/her, looking for someone similar in age (18+ required, absolutely no minors, preferably 20+) who loves fantasy, monsters, romance, and loooong lengthy replies. i’ve been writing for the past 15+ years with dreams of one day being published, and have been roleplaying for the past 10+ years, though i’ve been on an extended hiatus. i’m recently quit my job (living in EST) so my schedule is pretty open to start writing together! Even though i have a lot of new free time, i do have a partner and responsibilities, and am also aware of burnout, real life, and mental health so never be afraid to pull the breaks for a few days, weeks, or months if we need to but please communicate that. i almost exclusively write medieval high fantasy, but also enjoy historical fiction (absolutely nothing modern ie. 1930's onward) and lately have been into zombie apocalypses as i’m rewatching twd. i only work with originals, ocxoc, but am open to playing with a canon universe as long as we make it our own! i’m mainly looking for mxm and mxf romance since that’s what i have the most experience with, but i am lgbtq+ friendly. i prefer a partner who is open to writing a wide range of characters, not just female ocs or “submissive” types, just to ensure we keep the threads fresh for both of us. i’m more than happy to double and work on multiple threads as well. i like a heavy emphasis on troubled characters with real flaws, trauma, and their subsequent development, exploring interesting relationship dynamics both healthy and toxic, and extensive worldbuilding + magic systems. customized discord servers, fanart, headcanons, drawn maps of our worlds, couples playlists, pinterest boards–you name it, i love it and am here for it.
concepts in mind; while i don’t have any set plots, characters, or worlds (i generally enjoy figuring this out organically with my partner) there are some things that i like to write and cliches i love to see. Anything with fae, monsters, demons and witches, interesting takes on vampires + werewolves, i’m here for! i love fairytale retellings and mythology, and playing with religious motifs and inspiration (think paradise lost). themes of rebellion, war-torn kingdoms, corrupt monarchies, prophecies, racing against the clock to defeat eldritch world-ending monsters, dark overlords, magic always has a price, everyone is living on borrowed time just to name a few. when it comes to romance tropes, you can never go wrong with enemies to lovers, soulmates, forbidden romance, arranged/forced marriage, hidden identity, the hero falls for the villain. i foam at the mouth for soft ocs that snap and go feral, not a god’s chosen but a god’s cursed, the found family out of a band of ragtag misfits, complex villains who are actual people, i could literally go on for hours.
other tidbits; i don’t write canon characters or with fandoms, but i do enjoy my fair share of shows, books, and video games! i'm open to taking inspiration from any of them, so i’ll list a few if it helps give a better idea of what i’m into and possible interests we might share–
shows/movies: game of thrones + house of the dragon, outlander, the walking dead, pride and prejudice, stranger things, lotr, twilight
books: a court of thorns and roses + throne of glass, six of crows + shadow and bone, the night circus, and many more
games: animal crossing, legend of zelda, the sims, dragon age, stardew valley, the last of us

here’s a plot wishlist of things i’m thinking about lately but would prefer to plot than write opens for. i’d also prefer to plot on discord but it’s not entirely necessary since obviously i’ll be writing on this account. some of them are kind of variations of the same thing but i think it makes it clear what kind of stuff i really love lmao. if you like this i’ll im you, but even if you like a lot of them it would be amazing if you could whittle it down to 2-3 tops. reblogging and messaging people when i’m online in the morning!
Tumblr media
hot & heavy by lucy dacus inspired — the angst of your first love, homoerotic teenage best friend angst coming back to haunt you, bitterness and nostalgia mingling in the worst way, you hate her and you still love her after all this time. optional: period piece (70s, 80s, 90s, early 00s), a dead friend dragging them back to town, one of them is still closeted.
fear street inspired — small towns where dark, horrible things have happened and keep happening but not everyone can afford to clear out, young people taking on a legacy of evil in the name of love, the truth of the past being unearthed, the loss along the way. optional: period piece (90s), we can run with something similar to fear street in terms of why the killers exist or come up with our own thing.
college sleuths — a body found in a classroom or maybe an old unsolved mystery, a small campus cradled by woods and hidden from the world, a desperate need to uncover what everyone else wants to cover up, a righteousness or maybe an obligation to the dead, an eventual game of cat and mouse as they creep closer to the truth. optional: literally everything i listed can be tweaked, i just love the idea of a pair of people (even reluctantly) solving a murder.
scooby doo inspired, college cryptid/supernatural hunters  — they’re the only ones who believe and maybe that’s okay, could be a mumu/could utilise npc characters if we’d like a group. optional: more of a buffy style scooby gang who are solving problems/include creatures in it.
dark academia, the secret history inspired  —
zombie apocalypse romance... with a twist on top of that — what’s more romantic than finding your soulmate at the end of the world? well, i guess if she’s also an unhinged person who will murder humans too, if they cross her. finding out she killed her last s/o somehow doesn’t phase you. basically: muse a has met someone after so long alone but muse b is a little crazy and they get into shenanigans.
thoroughbreds inspired — unsettling girls forming a strange bond in rekindling a childhood friendship, uncomfortable step fathers, murder as a tool to solve problems rather than a ghastly act, taking blame as a romantic gesture. gifset for fun inspo.
a return to the hurt/comfort fanfic tag. i’d like to explore deeper things while also dealing with the relationship between two characters. optionally but not limited to: grief, abuse (tentatively and with discussion about parameters), child custody issues, divorce, etc.
this post but like no really, let’s write it.
people who believe they are impossible to love pushing away the one who is demanding that they let them in!!!! not strong enough by boygenius vibes also
an affair happening in a position of power, in a place it absolutely shouldn’t, where everything could turn to crap if they gave in but... they really can’t help themselves. people who are slaves to their own feelings no matter how toxic they are with one another. bad people being so passionately and deeply in love that it destroys everything. oh also this.
still would kick things over for a normal people plot. i’ll never be over it!! never!! gifset for visual. shame and regret almost overpowering love but not quite, hurting each other, miscommunication, all the things. “i'm not a religious person but i do sometimes think god made you for me.” it should be illegal for someone to say that but jeez i am obsessed with it.
someone truly deranged and evil and bloodthirsty and the only one who can stop them, but also the only one who can understand them. the only one who knows them. the only one who loves them? ah?
figure skating partners for carling i beg on my knees. fc optional i honestly might change her regardless.
more song inspo without long winded thoughts: reckless driving by lizzy mcalpine, taken by muna, holding back/crowded places/waiting game by banks, forever winter/tis the damn season/cowboy like me by taylor swift but also really any taylor swift song.

Writer’s Workshop: How To End Your Story
Tumblr media
How To End Your Story
Guest Poster: Flawedamythyst
We’re in the final furlong before the deadline for the first draft now, so it feels like a good time to talk about endings, and how to bring your story together to create a satisfactory one.
Have a read and then head over to the Discord Server where we have a channel for you to take part in a discussion based on the post, with chances to share your own ideas too.
How To End Your Story
There are traditionally six types of endings for a story:
Resolved ending - one with no lingering questions or loose ends. (Most murder mysteries and romances fall into this category.)
Unresolved ending - the kind of ending that leaves the reader with more questions than answers. (Usually for books that are part of a series. A lot of the HP books have endings like this.)
Expanded ending - expands the world of the story beyond the events of the narrative itself, with a time jump forward or a change in PoV.
Unexpected ending - a twist ending that the reader doesn’t see coming, but that should seem inevitable in hindsight.
Ambiguous ending - one that’s open to interpretation. Unlike an unresolved one, it leaves things to be interpreted by the reader so they have to decide themselves how it goes.
Tied ending - that brings the story full circle, and ends exactly where it began. Often the case for ‘Hero’s Journey’ type stories, where the hero ends up back home at the end.
You can read more about them here: https://boords.com/storytelling/how-to-end-a-story or here: https://www.masterclass.com/articles/ways-to-end-your-story but also in multiple other articles online just by Googling ‘Six Ways To End A Story’.
But, of course, they don’t really tell you how to work out which one your story needs, or how to write one of them without falling into any of the traps that ends with an unsatisfying ending.
Motivation
Of course, often the hardest bit with an ending is actually getting there. Losing motivation is so easy, especially when you’re writing something super-long. I know lots of people get motivation by posting as they go and using comments/kudos as a spur, or even just by talking about it on Tumblr or other places and letting other people’s excitement buoy them up, but a Bang event like WHOB doesn’t allow for that.
I’m going to talk a bit about ways to motivate yourself when you’re having to keep things secret from all but a handful of people, but bear in mind that this is something that really is very individual. Everyone writes for different reasons, and so everyone’s path to staying motivated is different.
For me, I think it comes down to focusing on why am I writing this story to start with? Any time I feel myself flagging, I think back to that reason and re-capture the original feeling I had about it. Often there’s a couple of different reasons.
For example, when I was writing Look What The Cat Dragged In, my motivations when I wrote the first line were:
I want all of fandom to share with me the image of the Winter Soldier waking Clint up to threaten him while gently cradling a kitten in his hands, and
I was writing it as a present for @kangofu-cb.
So, if I flagged at all, I was able to either reread that moment with Bucky holding the kitten and think ‘wow, I really do thing people will enjoy this mental image’, or I was able to think ‘I want my friend to have a nice thing’, and that helped me drive on and push through.
A lot of my personal motivations come down to ‘I want to share this scene/witty one-liner/visual of Clint pole dancing while dressed as Captain America with people’, so often just rereading what I’ve already done is really motivating for me, plus it also gives me the chance to see just how much I’ve already done, and what I would be dooming to be unfinished if I just walked away without pushing through.
You might well have different motivations though, which are equally valid. Maybe you started a fic for this event because you wanted to get a shiny badge, or to do something that your friends were doing, or you wanted to prove to yourself that you could write something longer than usual or outside of your usual wheelhouse. It may feel harder now than it did when you had that first idea, but that doesn’t change why you wanted to do it, and it’s actually easier now than it was when you started, because you’ve already done some of it.
And, if none of those motivations work for you, there’s always spite. ‘Oh, my brain gremlins think I can’t finish this? Fuck those guys, I’m going to prove those assholes so very, very wrong’ is completely how I powered through to finish my first ever novel-length fic, a million years and several fandoms ago.
Resolution vs Ending
So, let’s move on to the ending itself.
There are two parts to writing an ending: there’s the plot resolution and how that all gets tied up, and there’s the actual ending of the fic - the last scene, and the last place the reader sees the characters.
Sometimes the resolution happens only at the very end of a story and so those are the same thing, but I tend to think that makes things feel a bit abrupt. Especially for fics, which tend to be more character-driven than mainstream media and so need a wind down on how the characters react to the end of the plot for the reader. (This isn’t always true, of course, some plots do tie up neatly in the final scene. Every story is different and you’re the person best placed to judge what’s needed in your fic.)
So when you’re thinking about the ending, think about both parts. ‘How does this plot resolve itself?’ and ‘where do I want to leave these characters in the readers’ mind’s eye?’
Plotting a Story Resolution
You may well have already got a resolution worked out as part of your planning, but what if that ending doesn’t seem to fit any more, or you realise just as you get to it that you forgot to think about an ending at all and have no idea where to go?
First of all, don’t panic! If the rest of the story is there, you’ll be able to pull together the strands to create the best ending. Trust the bones of your story.
When I’m facing a blank page and no real idea of how I’m getting from the Depths of Despair moment to the happy ending, the first thing I do is reread the whole story in case that sparks a fantastic, fully-formed idea to appear on how to tie it all up. Mostly that doesn’t work, which is always disappointing, but it’s still a good place to start, because you have the whole run of the fic fresh in your head to plan from.
The next thing I do is make a list of all the things that I know definitely need to happen for the plot to be done. These don’t need to be in any particular order at this point and they don’t need to link up, you just need a list of what needs to go into the framework, however minor. ‘Clint wears Bucky’s hoodie and Bucky is smitten’ is a totally valid plot point to include, or even ‘include mention of recurring joke about muffins’. If you know something needs to be resolved but you don’t know how yet, just putting ‘resolve plot point with badgers’ is fine. Hopefully once you’ve started thinking through all the different bits, you’ll work out what’s going to happen to the badgers, and it’ll make sure you know it needs to be included somewhere.
If you have a beta/cheer reader who can help, it’s also super helpful to ask them what they would expect from the ending based on what they’ve read so far, or what elements from earlier in the story they think will be coming back/will turn out to be foreshadowing. Sometimes you’ll find you’ve written the clues to your ending into the earlier bits without really noticing, and you can throw them down on the list to be included as well.
Once you have everything you know needs to be included, you can shift them around into a rough order you think they need to go in, and start filling in the gaps. For example, if ‘Clint gets injured’ is there, you can add in ‘Bucky tends to his wounds’ as the obvious next step and maybe that would be a good time to throw in a muffin joke, and then Clint might need to borrow a hoodie if his shirt has blood on it, so you can tick those bits off as well.
It gets easier to see where the gaps are once you have it written out, even if it’s only things that you already knew would need to happen. Having it down in black and white helps your brain to move pieces around like a jigsaw puzzle, and start extrapolating on what comes in the gaps between.
Make The Ending Fit The Story
Think about what kind of story it’s been so far, and make sure that the ending you come up with fits in with it.
You’ll know the general feeling that you wanted for the fic when you started writing, so that will give you a solid idea on how the ending needs to go. (Often for me this feeling is ‘schmoopy and loved up’, because I’m a softie. A lot of what I’m doing when I’m writing a fic is just clearing out of the way any obstacles that are going to get in the way of my characters being schmoopy and loved up. When there’s nothing left in the way, that’s when I know it’s the end of the story.)
You also need to keep the tone and pacing of your fic the same, and make sure that your ending matches up so it all feels like it fits together. This includes keeping the pace the same as it had been, no matter how tempting it is to rush through so you can get the thing finished already, or slow right down so you can add in a few thousand more words.
Along with sticking to the tone you’ve set for the fic, try not to genre-shift - if you’ve written an action-packed zombie apocalypse fic, resolving the plot with domestic schmoop isn’t a great idea. The reader is invested in the style of story that you’ve written so far, so pulling the rug out on them will only give them whiplash, a vague sense of dissatisfaction or a persistent nagging feeling that zombies are about to attack.
Unless you’ve written a domestic schmoop zombie AU of course, in which case I would read the hell out of it. ‘Curtain!fic but sometimes the undead interrupt’ sounds like a lot of fun.
And finally, make sure you maintain your characterisation. If the ending you want involves your character doing something wildly out-of-character, then that’s not the right ending. (I like to call this an Endgame!Steve ending. No, I’m not over that.) Even if your audience is invested in your story enough to overlook the incongruence, they will be having to overlook it rather than feeling fully invested in the journey you’ve created.
Chekov’s Gun
The most satisfying endings are the ones that tie up most, if not all, of the loose ends, and provide an emotional pay-off equivalent to the build-up. If you’ve been talking about something big that might or might not happen, and then it doesn’t, it’s narratively frustrating. In the same way, if you drop something big in that doesn’t really fit with what went before, it’s going to make the story feel unbalanced.
Obviously that doesn’t mean you can’t have a surprise or twist ending but even if the reader is surprised by something happening, they still want to feel like they’re reading the same story. They need to look back with hindsight of knowing the twist and see how it fits in, and not how it stands out.
A good rule to follow is the Chekov’s Gun rule: If there’s a gun on the table in the first act, someone needs to shoot it in the second act. If you’ve been teasing something, make sure the pay-off is there.
And, of course, if someone’s going to be firing a gun at the end, go back and make sure it gets mentioned earlier in the story. It doesn’t need to be a heavy-handed anvil, but if you can drop in casual hints about guns earlier in the story, the whole thing feels more cohesive and thought out. No one needs to know that you only put those hints in after you’d finished the whole thing.
Loose Ends
Something I always like to do when I’m plotting exactly how the ending is going to go, is to go back through the whole fic and make a list of anything that feels like it could be a loose end if it didn’t get resolved. (If I’m having a problem working out my ending, often this happens at the same time as writing down all my ending plot points, as I described above.)
Some of those are obvious, like ‘Bucky and Clint need to kiss’, but some are less so. Did Clint think about how much he just wants to be done with all the drama so he can snuggle with his dog? Maybe throw in some Lucky cuddles somewhere in the finale so he gets the emotional pay-off. Has Bucky mentioned really want to punch a bad guy in particular in the face? Give him a chance to smack that asshole around a bit. Has there been a minor relationship drama along the way, like someone leaving their socks lying around? Have them either make a point of putting them away, or the other person just rolling their eyes and accepting it as a part of being with them.
It’s also important to think about where your secondary characters are going to end up, and if it feels like they’ve had an arc that needs resolving. Has there been another pairing with a bit of screen time or some background drama? Give them a chance to make out/make up. Has the bad guy done something that affected one of the other Avengers? Let them have a slice of revenge along the way.
For example, in my plan for Be All You Can Be, one of the original characters I introduced as other soldiers doing Basic Training, Havelka, didn’t turn up again after he’d been kicked back a level to another training unit. When I reread that, it became clear that he needed to prove himself somehow or his arc would be a depressing downward slope partially instigated by Clint and Bucky, so I brought him back at the end to do some First Aid and gave him a line or two to point to how his future was going to go, so the reader knew he was going to be okay.
You don’t have to completely resolve everything of course, and sometimes it is nice to leave a couple of things up to the reader’s imagination, but it’s nice for the reader if there’s a sense of things being tied up in a little bow.
Ending
So, you’ve resolved your plot, how are you going to handle the actual final ending?
Depending on how your story has gone, you might not need much after the resolution, or you may need several epilogue-y type scenes just to make sure everything is wrapped up.
Take a moment to think about what feeling you want the reader to take away from the fic. If it’s a romance, do you want to end with a warm fuzz of ‘aw cute’? If it’s been an angsty dig down into Clint or Bucky’s mental health issues, do you want a sense of optimism or catharsis? If there’s been a lot of action and drama, do you want a bit of peace and quiet for your characters to signal it’s all over with?
The best way to end any story is with a sense of hope, even if you’ve not gone for a completely happy ending, or have left yourself open for a sequel with some unresolved plot points. You want the reader to feel at least in some way uplifted. After all, regardless of whatever else has gone before, that’s the emotion they’ll have when they get faced with the Kudos button and the Comment box, so you need them in a good mood, right?
When you know what kind of feeling you want your ending to have, that will give you a major clue as to what the characters should be doing in the final scene.
One thing that can work well is bringing back something from the first scene or two and twisting it to be part of the ending. For example, at the beginning of Be All You Can Be Clint uses the song Make A Man Out Of You from Mulan as a way to torture Bucky, and then at the end, they watch the movie together while snuggling.
You do have to be careful not to be too heavy handed with that, and it doesn’t work in every fic, but I do like the feeling of ‘things coming full circle’ that you can get from doing it.
Afterglow vs. Too Much Ending
I always think that good stories come with a certain amount of ‘afterglow’: Just a scene or two to round things out and give a pointer towards the future.
For example, in general, I don’t like stories that end with a first kiss, which is one of several reasons I usually find Hollywood romcoms unsatisfying. It feels like too much of a beginning, and leaves too many questions open about how things are actually going to go for the couple in question. As part of a complete ending, it feels more satisfying to have an ‘epilogue’-y type scene afterwards that will give you a sense of how things went from there, even if it’s just a couple of paragraphs about them planning their first date.
I’m sure we can all think of other times we’ve read or watched something and had a moment of ‘oh, was that it?’ after the last sentence/when the credits rolled. Abrupt endings without a bit of afterglow can leave the reader blinking a little and wondering where their damn cuddles are.
That said, you also don’t want to go too far in the opposite direction. If the plot is over, there’s no need to keep going with multiple scenes of fluff or porn that doesn’t really add anything. We don’t need to see their whole lives mapped out, and it can get fairly dull once the tension of the plot is over. Ask yourself if the three chapters of them having sex on every flat surface in their apartment is actually necessary, or if some of them can be cut and used as one-shot sequel/missing scene fics.
In general if it’s not adding to either the narrative or emotional arcs, try to cap it at a scene or two. Just enough to feel like you’ve had a bit of post-climactic afterglow, but not so much that it’s starting to drag.
In Conclusion…
Ending a fic is, in so many ways, the most satisfying part of writing. You got right the way through your plot to the end! You did all the writing! Your characters made it through to their happy/sad/ambiguous endings! You deserve all the gold stars!
You just want your reader to feel the same way, by making sure the ending fits with what came before, ties up all the ends that need tying up, and leaves them with a deep glow of whatever feeling you want the overall story to convey.
And then you just need to do the editing, but that’s a workshop for another day...

Will create works that contain: Tropes/elements: character studies, angst, soulmates, slow burn, mutual or one-sided pining, self-sacrifice, amnesia, time travel, reincarnation, fake relationship, relationship of convenience, hurt/comfort, de-aging, dream world, presumed dead, temporary or permanent death, post-breakup, getting together, getting back together, post-Infinity War to post-Endgame, substance abuse and recovery, grief/mourning, parental/child and mentor/mentee relationships, friendship over the years, Tony’s family issues, dark Steve, pre-serum Steve AUs: canon-divergent (I like sticking to canon as much as possible, though), mafia/gangster, magic, sports, non-powered, high school or college, supernatural, horror, sci-fi, etc. I love AUs! For writing, I tend to focus on one specific moment or a series of small moments, feelings, and relationships more than action-packed plots.
Will not create works that contain: I’m up for most things except some extreme kinks, incest, mpreg, infidelity, adult/minor romantic relationships, and partner abuse in a ship. I don’t have any triggers. If you want me to elaborate on my do-not-wants or have a trope, kink, or plot point that you’re not sure I’ll be okay with, please contact me beforehand. Betaing: A/B/O, D/S, OOC, PWPs, OCs, self-inserts, tooth-rotting fluff without plot, Darcy-centric fics, unbalanced CW plots. I’m not that fond of coffeeshop, apocalypse, zombie, and vampire AUs, but I can help with them Writing: A/B/O, D/S, poly, comedy, complicated plots, crack, 100% pure fluff/domestic plots, kidfic (unless it’s canon), AUs that require a lot of specific knowledge (e.g., historical AUs or military AUs), reality TV AU, zombie AU, animal transformation, unbalanced CW plots, Hydra Steve

Will create works for the following relationships: Steve Rogers/Tony Stark - AvAc, MCU, Noir Bucky Barnes/Sam Wilson - MCU James "Rhodey" Rhodes & Tony Stark - MCU Carol Danvers/Maria Rambeau - MCU James "Rhodey" Rhodes/Sam Wilson - MCU Nebula & Tony Stark - MCU Steve Rogers & Natasha Romanov - MCU Natasha Romanov & Tony Stark - MCU Carol Danvers & Nick Fury - MCU Nick Fury & Maria Rambeau - MCU
Work Description: This fic will probably be 1.5–3k. It’s possible that it may end up longer (this was the case with my Stony Trumps Hate and MTH 2018 fics), but I can’t make any promises. It might take me a while to finish it as I’m slow at writing and RL keeps me busy, so please keep that in mind when bidding. MCU is my usual playground overall, but for Steve/Tony specifically, I’ve written Noir and AvAc too. I'm very interested in writing canon-compliant fics or fics set in canon, especially ones that act like snapshots of the characters at a specific time in their lives or a character/relationship study, but I do love AUs as well. I would appreciate it if you gave me several prompts, both general and specific, to choose from as that will increase the likelihood of the story being finished faster and lessen the likelihood of me getting writer’s block. If you have any questions of what I will and won’t write, don’t hesitate to reach out to me!

Work Description: I can help with SPaG/copyediting, pacing, sentence structure, continuity, and America-picking, and I particularly love discussing characterization, world building, plot, and character development. I love character and relationship studies and contemplative pieces that dive deeply into who the characters are and how they feel, but I also like plots that tackle serious issues or big canon points, complex plots, and plots with multiple layers/levels. Turnaround depends on fic length and my schedule. I’m relatively fast, but if something comes up, I’ll let you know immediately. If you need references, I’ve betaed and acted as a sounding board for several writers such as aslightstep, captainshellhead/vibraniumstark, gil-estel, Kiyaar, laireshi, Sineala, and Woad. Notes on relationships: I’m willing to beta some ships along with gen/platonic ones for the fandoms listed above. Notes on characters: There are some characters whom I’m not that fond of or interested in (for example, Darcy Lewis). I’m open to betaing almost anything, provided they follow my wants/DNWs, even with characters I’m less keen about/don’t care for, but feel free to contact me if you have questions about this. Notes on universes: For 616 and Ults, I’ll only do an AU or a story that doesn’t rely heavily on canon events. I’ve only watched a handful of AA episodes. ROLEPLAY MASTERPOST!
Hello all! I just thought I would update the blog with some plots that I’m really craving at the moment. Both Fandoms and originals, so if you see something that interests you, please feel free to get in touch.
Reylo: I always prefer AU’s when it comes to this ship, I think it’s because while I love the Star Wars universe, writing for it is a pain in the ass, trying to make it sound authentic if that makes sense? And I’m pretty lazy so am AU is just so much easier. Modern AU’s tend to be my favourite, with themes relating around Age gaps and kind of forbidden relationships, those are always fun, but I also enjoy just cute fluffy stories about days out at Disneyland or something.
The Last of Us/Zombie apocalypse: This more just set in the world of TLOU as opposed to using the actual in game characters, however I’m not opposed to them popping up if it makes sense for the story. I do have a very intricate and detailed character already made up for this, so if you’re craving a story in this world please let me know!
Red Dead/Wild West: Again this would most likely be just a setting than involving in game characters. Red Dead is a lot of fun, and I don’t really have anything in mind but I always like the idea of playing a gruff bounty hunter, someone who doesn’t do well with other people, who’s then forced for whatever reason to spend time with someone the complete opposite of him. Cliche, but fun!
Dramione: Dramione is probably OG ship, the first one I had that I really cared about anyway, so I always love the idea of writing for these two. The cliche story of the 8th year, head boy and girl living together has been done to death by this point, but I still absolutely love it, so I’ve got no problem with that. I also love the idea of a slightly older Dramione starting an affair. They’re both unhappy in their current marriages and turn to one another for comfort and something new!
BuckyNat: These two are just hot. Bad boy and bad girl type of relationship, and you just know they have so much fun together. The idea of a shared history they don’t really talk about is also intriguing to me, but again with this there are multiple directions we could take it. Unwinding together after missions, Date night in the city, Jealousy, drug use, corruption, there’s always a lot of options with these two.
Spider-Man: I’ve been playing a lot of the recent PS4 game recently and I’ve never really done a Spidey RP but I’d definitely be interested. This could be set in pretty much any universe, although I would maybe want to stay away from MCU since he’s still quite young. I love his relationship with Mary-Jane in that game as well, it’s complicated but very cute and you can see they really care about her, but his relationship with Felicia/Black Cat is also interesting as well, and... well let’s be honest, just hot. So I would be fine with either or those, or even throwing in Gwen/Ghost-Spider and some interdemensional crossing.
Originals: We don’t have to write anything related to a fandom, I love coming plotting 1x1 originals that are always such fun. Quick list is below
Sugar Daddy x Baby prompt
Professor X Student
Father X Young Nanny/Babysitter
Cheating/Affair plots
A/B/O Omegaverse. (This can also be applied to any of the fandom RP’s too)
Fake relationship for a friends wedding or to fool parents plot!
Pretty much anything enemies to lovers
Slice of life
Hogwarts AU
Always open to more ideas
This post is kind of a mess but I hope it can give you some idea of what I’m looking for, so if you like anything you see please feel free to message me or add me on Discord, you can find my @ in my bio!
Just some last minute things I want to mention, I usually like to include a good mixture of both smut and story. I have plenty of kinks and have no problem getting quite dark and extreme, but I’m also very respectful of your limits, so we can absolutely discuss what you like and you don’t. The last thing I want to do is make my partner uncomfortable at all. And finally, I do work a full time job so I’m not available all the time unfortunately, but when I am around you’ll get all of my attention! Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Roleplay Search!
Hello! Welcome to my ad! I apologize ahead of time if it’s very lengthy and boring, I just like to cover any base I can ahead of time to avoid future conflicts or misunderstandings. Let’s go ahead and get introductions out of the way, shall we?
For starters, I go by Arturia online, but call me whatever. Nicknames are cool and we’re all here to have a good time with writing, so I’m not too picky with much. I’m about to turn 20 years old and I prefer she/her pronouns. I live in the Central Timezone, though am often up at odd hours. The summer is here and so I should have a fair bit of freetime for writing, plus I’ve been craving more partners to rp with, so here I am! Let me detail a bit about my basic requirements/info for rp and then I can tell you about my cravings for rp currently!
  RP Basics:
I will rp any pairing, but prefer to play as a female in either FxF or MxF pairings. Do not come to me to be simply a male in either a MxF or MxM pairing, I will drop it. If I am playing a male, I generally prefer to double.
Smut: I will write it, but occasionally prefer to fade-to-black. Needless to say, you must be 18+ to contact me for an rp. Not only for the potential for smut, but also because of the potential for darker themes to be involved. Also, I do not want a smut-centered rp, sorry. And the characters in the rp have to be of age if we’re writing smut for them. I get there’s trauma and stuff in their backstories, but I will not write that stuff for underage characters whatsoever.
OOC Chat. I love it, but will not force it. If you’re somebody who wants to be all business, that’s totally fine! Just let me know! Same goes if you wanna chitchat 24/7 and send memes back and forth, just let me know how you wanna handle this! New friends or business partners who only discuss the rp, I don’t mind either way!
Triggers/Limits: I don’t have many myself, aside from the general consensus with smut (No to anything illegal or anything with bathroom stuff, sorry but not really sorry y’all.) If you have any triggers or limits, both in regular rp and smut, let me know please!! I do not want to accidentally upset somebody, so let me know ahead of time!!
Replies. I can’t guarantee a set schedule for my replies, just due to life stuff. I will try to get one out daily, if not every other day, and will let you know if something comes up. I expect some sort of notice from you and will message you again after a week to check in unless told ahead of time otherwise.
Writing Style. I write in Third-Person and expect you to do the same, sorry but 1st really doesn’t work for me and I cannot write 3rd against your 1st. In terms of length, that varies depending on my partner’s preferred length and the contents of the rp, but I generally shoot for at least a few paragraphs. I expect at least a few from you as well, just to give me something to work with. No one-liners or close to that, please.
Rp Method. Email or Discord. Either of those two work and are what I prefer to use. I won’t use anything else. Maybe Google Docs, but don’t rely on that. I’ll leave my contact info at the bottom of this ad!
  Roleplay Types:
Fandoms:
Harry Potter: CanonxOC or OC. If CanonxOC, we can double if you’d like, but I’d like somebody to play Sirius Black against my OC. It could start from their final year at school and go into the First Wizarding War and beyond. We can follow the original plot or twist it up, I’d love to discuss this with somebody!
Animes: Haikyuu, Fate Series, Log Horizon, SAO, Attack on Titan, Black Butler, Naruto, Tokyo Ghoul, Fairy Tail, MHA, Dr. Stone, literally just shoot me any anime you’re thinking of and we can discuss it. Either CanonxOC or OC depending on the anime in particular, just let me know. But I’m really craving a Tokyo Ghoul (OCs) or Attack on Titan (CanonxOC or OCs) at the moment!
Fire Emblem: I've never done a rp for this, but I'd so be willing to! Either OC or CanonxOC!
Marvel! I'd love to do a CanonxOC or OC rp for this!
Honestly, dude, just shoot me a fandom, I cannot remember every single one. Chances are, I’ve heard of it/am a part of it. If not, I might be willing to read up on it if the plot interests me!
Original:
Post-Apocalyptic: Literally craving this so bad. I want to explore a variety of scenarios that could cause an apocalypse. Maybe it starts out with zombies but turns out to be some mad scientist government figure experimenting on people and trying to take over the world to build his own world???
Fantasy: Anything and everything, I’m a sucker for it. Typically go for medieval fantasy, but literally shoot me your ideas. We can work on them together!
Sci-Fi: This goes sort of in hand with fantasy, but I would like to work on some sort of space pirates plot, with our characters going around saving planets and running away from various law officials.
Really, the only original genre that would be a bit difficult for me is slice-of-life. We would have to work on that and really work to keep it interesting, I don’t want to write the daily life of college students, in all honesty, I need something to keep it interesting.
  Contact Info:
I hope you made it through all of that and are still interested! If you are, please contact me through one of the means listed below and tell me about yourself as well as what sort of roleplay you are interested in. When telling me about yourself, please include your name, age, timezone, dos and donts of rp, as well as any triggers or anything else I need to know about you! I hope to hear from you soon!

Sci-Fi And The Sincerest Form Of Flattery
I know many of you prefer “science fiction” or “science fantasy” or “speculative fiction” or “sf” or even “stf” for short, but I ain’t that guy…
I’m a sci-fi kinda guy.
I prefer sci-fi because to me it evokes the nerdy playfulness the genre should embrace at some level (and, no we’re not gonna debate geek vs nerd as a descriptor; “geeky” implies biting heads off chickens no matter how benign and respectable the root has become).
. . .
A brief history of sci-fi films -- a very brief history.
Georges Melies’ 1898 short A Trip to The Moon is one of the earliest examples of the genre, and it arrived full blown at the dawn of cinema via its literary predecessors in Verne and Wells.
There were a lot of bona fide sci-fi films before WWII -- the Danes made a surprisingly large number in the silent era, Fritz Lang gave us Metropolis and Frau Im Mond, we saw the goofiness of Just Imagine and the spectacle of Things To Come and the space opera appeal of Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers.
And that’s not counting hundreds of other productions -- comedies and contemporary thrillers and westerns -- where a super-science mcguffin played a key part.
That came to a screeching halt in WWII primarily due to budget considerations and real world science easily overtaking screen fantasy.  Still, there were a few bona fide sci-fi films and serials during the war and immediately thereafter, but it wasn’t until the flying saucer scare of the late forties that sci-fi became a popular movie genre again (and on TV as well).
Ground zero for 1950s sci-fi was George Pal’s Destination Moon, which was an attempt to show a plausible flight to the moon (it was actually beaten to the screens by a couple of other low budget movies that rushed into production to catch Pal’s PR wave for his film).
This led to the first 1950s sci-fi boom that lasted from 1949 to 1954, followed by a brief fallow period, then a larger but far less innovative second boom in the late 1950s to early 1960s.
BTW, let me heartily recommend the late Bill Warren’s magnificent overview of sci-fi films of that era, Keep Watching The Skies, a must have in any sci-fi film fan’s library.
Seriously, go get it.
Bill and I frequently discussed films of that and subsequent eras, and Bill agreed with my assessment of the difference between 1950s sci-fi and 1960s sci-fi:  1950s sci-fi most typically ends with the old order restored, while 1960s sci-fi typically ends with the realization things have changed irrevocably.
In other words, “What now, puny human?”
I judge the 1960s sci-fi boom to have started in 1963 (at least for the US and western Europe; behind the Iron Curtain they were already ahead of us) with the Outer Limits TV show, followed in 1964 by the films The Last Man On Earth (based on Richard Matheson’s I Am Legend), Robinson Crusoe On Mars, and The Time Travelers.
But what really triggered the 1960s sci-fi boom was Planet Of The Apes and 2001: A Space Odyssey.  The former was shopped around every major Hollywood studio starting in 1963 until it finally found a home at 20th Century Fox (whose market research indicated there was an audience for well-made serious sci-fi film and hence put Fantastic Voyage into production).  Kubrick, fresh off Lolita and Dr. Srangelove (another sci-fi film tho not presented as such), carried an enormous cache in Hollywood of that era, and if MGM was going to bankroll his big budget space movie, hey, maybe there was something to this genre after all.
From 1965 forward, the cinematic space race was on, with 1968 being a banner year for groundbreaking sci-fi movies:  2001: A Space Odyssey, Barbarella, Charly, Planet Of The Apes, The Power, Project X, and Wild In The Streets.  (Star Trek premiering on TV in 1967 didn’t hurt, either.)
And, yeah, there were a number of duds and more than a few old school throwbacks during this era, but the point is the most interesting films were the most innovative ones.
Here’s a partial list of the most innovative sci-fi films from 1969 to 1977, nine-year period with some of the most original ideas ever presented in sci-fi films.  Not all of these were box office successes, but damn, they got people’s attention in both the film making and sci-fi fandom communities.

=1977=
Wizards
[a]  I include Beneath The Planet Of The Apes because it is the single most nihilistic major studio film released, a movie that posits Charlton Heston blowing up the entire planet is A Damn Good Idea; follow up films in the series took a far more conventional approach to the material.  While successful, neither the studio nor mainstream audiences knew what to make of this film, so 20th Century Fox re-released it in a double bill with another problematic production, Russ Meyer’s Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls, and holy cow, if ever there was a more bugfuck double feature from a major studio I challenge you to name it.
[b]  Other than Karel Zemen’s delightful animated films, Iron Curtain sci-fi films rarely screened in the US, with the exception of special effects stock shots strip mined to add production values to cheapjack American productions (looking at you, Roger Corman).  Solaris is the exception.
[c]  David Cronenberg made several other films in this time frame, but most of them were variations on the themes he used in Shivers, including his big break out, Scanners.  Realizing he was repeating himself, Cronenberg reevaluated his goals and started making films with greater variety of theme and subject matter.
. . .
The astute reader will notice I bring my list to an end in 1977, a mere nine-year span instead of a full decade.
That’s because 1977 also saw the release of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind and Star Wars.
The effect was immediate, with knock-off films being released the same year.
1978 saw Dawn Of The Dead, a sequel to 1968’s Night Of The Living Dead, and Superman, the first non-campy superhero movie aimed at non-juvenile audiences.
1979 gave us Alien, Mad Max, and Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
These films were not just successful, they were blockbusters.
And none of them were original.
Close Encounters served as an excuse to do a Kubrick-style light show; plot and theme are about as deep as a Dixie cup, and of all the blockbusters of that era, it’s the one with no legs.
Alien’s pedigree can be traced back to It! Terror From Beyond Space (and It’s pedigree goes back to A.E. van Vogt’s “Black Destroyer” and “Discord In Scarlet” in the old Astounding Stories) and Demon Planet (US title: Planet Of The Vampires) by way of Dark Star (Dan O’Bannon writing the original screenplays for that film and Alien as well).
Mad Max, like 1981’s Escape From New York, differs from earlier post-apocalypse movies only insofar as their apocalypses of a social / cultural / political nature, not nuclear or biological weapons.  Mad Max, in fact, can trace its lineage back to No Blade Of Grass, which featured it own caravan of refugees attacked by modern day visigoths on motorcycles, and the original Death Race 2000, as well as an odd little Australian non-sci-fi film, The Cars That Ate Paris.
Not only was Dawn Of The Dead a sequel, but it kickstarted a worldwide tsunami of zombie movies that continues to this day (no surprise as zombie films are easy to produce compared to other films listed here, and while there are a few big budget examples of the genre, the typical zombie movie is just actors in ragged clothes and crappy make-up).
Superman was…well…Superman.  And Star Trek was Star Trek.
And the granddaddy of them all, Star Wars, was a cinematic throwback that threw so far back it made the old seem new again.
Not begrudging any of those films their success: They were well made and entertaining.
But while there had been plenty of sequels and remakes and plain ol’ knockoffs of successful sci-fi movies in the past, after these seven there was precious little room for anything really different or innovative.
1982’s E.T. was Spielberg’s unofficial follow-up to Close Encounters.
1984’s Terminator consciously harkened back to Harlan Elison’s Outer Limits episodes “Demon With A Glass Hand” and “Soldier” (not to mention 1966’s Cyborg 2087 which looks like a first draft of Cameron’s film)
All innovative movies are risky, and the mammoth success of the films cited above did little to encourage new ideas in sci-fi films but rather attempts to shoehorn material into one of several pre-existing genres.
Star Wars = space opera of the splashy Flash Gordon variety
Star Trek = crew on a mission (Star Trek: The Next Generation [+ 5 other series], Andromeda, Battlestar: Galactica [4 series], Buck Rogers In The 25th Century, Farscape, Firefly [+ movie], The Orville, Space Academy, Space Rangers, Space: Above And Beyond, plus more anime and syndicated shows than you can shake a stick at)
Superman = superheroes (nuff’ sed!)
Close Encounters / E.T. = cute aliens
Alien = not-so-cute aliens
Terminator = robots vs humans (and, yes, The Matrix movies fall into this category)
Escape From New York = urban post-apocalypse
Mad Max = vehicular post-apocalypse
Dawn Of The Dead = zombies
Mix and match ‘em and you’ve got a nearly limitless number of variations you know are based on proven popular concepts, none of that risky original stuff.
Small wonder that despite the huge number of new sci-fi films and programs available, little of it is memorable.
. . .
It shouldn’t be like this.
With ultra-cheap film making tools (there are theatrically released films shot on iPhones so there’s literally no barrier to entry) and copious venues for ultra-low / no-budget film makers to show their work (YouTube, Vimeo, Amazon Prime, etc.), there’s no excuse for there not to be a near limitless number of innovative films in all genres.
But there isn’t.
I watch a lot of independent features and short films on various channels and streaming services.
They’re either direct knock-offs of current big budget blockbusters (because often the film makers are hoping to impress the big studios into giving them lots of money to make one of their movies), or worse still, deliberately “bad” imitations of 1950s B-movies (and I get why there’s an appeal to do a bad version of a B-movie; if you screw up you can always say you did it deliberately).
Look, I understand the appeal of fan fic, written or filmed.
And I get it that sometimes it’s easier to do a knock-off where the conventions of the genre help with the final execution.
But let’s not make deliberate crap, okay?
Oscar Wilde is quoted as saying “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” but he was quoting somebody else, and that wasn’t the whole original quote.
Wilde was quoting Charles Caleb Colton, a dissolute English clergyman with a passion for gambling and a talent for bon mots.
Colton’s full quote:   “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.”
Don’t be mediocre.
Be great.

Application - Max Darrow, the New kid
So, just to make things official, I am going to post an application for one of the muses I am going to be playing as myself. After that,I’m gonna accept some applications!
About the mun!
Name/nickname: Mickey/Micks. Either works
Age: 19 years old
Discord: {removed for privacy reasons}
Pronouns: Any! Just don’t be rude
Extra: Unversity takes up a lot of time, timezones are the devil. I’m also gonna be playing Christophe on the server!
About the muse!
Name: Maximus ‘Max/Chaos’ Darrow - The (former) New kid {SOT,TFBW,PD even}
Gender: Cis male
Age: 22 years old
Sexuality: Pansexual. Due to trust issues though,he doesn’t get into relationships easily.
Faction: Unknown Valley (Leader)
Five or more headcanons:  × He doesn't have the farting powers he had during the events of SOT/TFBW anymore. His parents stopped putting whatever 'medicine' it was in his food after those events. He prefers it that way.   × Somewhere during the third or fourth year,he hurt his leg,and it never fully healed. Because of this,he is constantly seen walking with this big stick/branch/staff. He can stand, walk and run okay without it,but some days he has difficulty keeping his balance. He calls it the ‘Stick of truth’ in reference to the original. × While he is still quiet over all,he isn't completely mute. You can't run a faction well or make trade deals if you're just going to stare at the person after all.  × Over all,his survival skill is average, average meaning that it’s enough to allow him to have survived for so long so far. He's alright, especially as a medic. Also has basic sewing skills. × Has a 5 year old Jack russell named Gunner. The dog never leaves his side, unless it’s outside Unknown Valley walls. Then he stays inside, away from any possible danger or derranged person with ideas of eating him. × All his weapons are what he had before the outbreak, from playing with the others all tose years ago - A baseball bat, apocalypse ready with nails and barbed wire after the Nazi zombies from SOT,a flip knife (From the assassin class in TFBW),a crossbow, but with no bolts (Bought during SOT). The only weapon he got during the outbreak was a pistol.
Roleplay example:  This is just a random thing. Not based off anything, but takes place in the rp’s ‘universe’. It wasn’t always that there were faction leader meetings, hell, there literally never were, but when there’s suddenly an increase in cult activity,Max had no choice but to join his fellow faction leaders in a discussion about what precautions to put into place about the sitution. It went well for the first half an hour or so,no big deal. But then it started. He had a neutral expression, and kept quiet as the bickering got louder and louder. He sat with his arms crossed. Why did he agree to come again? Oh yeah, the cult. He kept quiet for a few more minutes,in hopes that there would be a conclusion to the argument so they could go back to discussing the actual issue. There wasn’t. They continued on and on. Now he remembered why he split from the group the second he could when the undead started roaming the streets. He took a deep breath, just so he wouldn’t lash out at them. He made sure to raise his voice, though,so he was actually heard. “You know,by the time you idiots finally stop arguing, the cult probably took over the safezones, kidnapped people, killed them. Then this whole stupid discussion would be for literally nothing.” They went quiet for a second. He heard a ‘Stay out of it,Douchebag’ from Eric, before they continued on with their little debate. That nickname. That horrid damn nickname that he hoped was long forgotten. It was the last of his patience out the door. He stood up,leaving the room without a word. Maybe their arguments will somehow chase the cultists back to where they came from. That tactic definately worked on him.

he/him, I am 23 years old
🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Here are some terms for role playing with me, I'm sorry there are a lot of things, but it saves us the time of having miscommunication or "surprises" later.
» Let me state right off the bat, NO fandoms. We can do ideas based on movies/tv shows, but I am not strictly doing a fandom roleplay. I do not like to be restricted to "what already exists." I want oc's and our own world building collaborations.
You must be at least 20+ to roleplay with me. Thought there is an age minimum, there is not an age maximum. I do not care how old you are, i've roleplayed with 35 year olds before… I have no issue with it.
Our oc's will be older than 20 years old. (My oc will be 24). I am perfectly fine with our oc's having an age gap, though i'd prefer that yours would be the older one.
MXM ONLY
I am looking for a dominant personality, though bed-wise i'd prefer you to be a top OR switch. NO STRICT BOTTOMS (unless you want me to bottom the entire time.) I do plan to top sometimes too (applies to mxm rp only)…
I do not & am not willing to double up. Yes, I will play other characters within the role play, but I do not want "two of the same roleplay"
The roleplay will be plot centered but nsfw will be included frequently. I'm kinda kinky, I like things to be rough, so do not come if you're vanilla.
I really want dark/dead dove themes included. ️ We can discuss this further together, but if you do not know what it means- it just means "dark" role play with possibly triggering content. It's best if you come with no triggers and are willing to do *things.* If you get what I mean.
>>>> no gross/stink/poop/slob/death/limb removal… stuff like that.
-> You need to be ADVANCED LIT with the ability to write multiple paragraphs (I write around 2-9 depends). If you crank out small one sentence or small paragraph replies… I'll probably be really disappointed and ghost you lol
->You NEED to use Realistic face claims (i hate anime & picrews, please no descriptions either). Denying the use of realistic faceclaims will just make me ghost you. I'm not willing to change it, i'm sorry. I'm picky.
-> 3rd person only
-> long term only
-> discord 1x1 group
I have some plot ideas, I am willing to hear yours too. I am huge fan of historical, but I will do fantasy, modern, futuristic- and every other genre as well.
————Two Ideas I have Currently————
>>> i am willing to hear your ideas <<<
one:
Muse (me) has been a resident of the local psychiatric hospital for a few years. Because of the nature, they keep to themselves and don't go out of the way to meet people. Muse (you) is a newly admitted patient to the same hospital. They're loud & aggressive. , by habit, goes out of their way to avoid , but is fascinated by him. makes it their personal mission to get as close as they possibly can to . One day manages to steal a key card and ambushes in a hallway. Once the two are alone, is finally able to get forced conversations from Muse and decides to keep prisoner for as long as they can without getting caught.
two:
Muse (me), an innocent church boy, who tries to get back at his family, accidentally gets himself caught up in a cult, which is run by Muse (you). Muse learns quickly that he cannot escape the cult and is stuck being teased and tormented.
Other Underdeveloped plots that appeal to me right now:
- Last two guys on earth / or zombie apocalypse
- Injured patient x caregiver nurse
- cop x robber
- serial killer x kidnapped (no mutilation.)
Please come with little to no triggers and the ability to collaborate.
Communication is KEY, if you're busy or you're not feeling the roleplay, please please please tell me. We can come up with something that would benefit the both of us.
DM me IF YOU'RE INTERESTED. I hate when people engage and then ignore me. Please, don't waste my time. Only engage if you're actually actively seeking roleplay.

tea for two...
Hi and hello, Meren here. I’m here in search of a few different roleplay ideas that are just nagging to be written but I am also down to discuss and see if we can come up with something we may both be interested in pursuing. I’ll get a few of the usual tidbits out of the way, first, before moving on to the plots.
«♦♦» I have been around roleplaying for over 15 years now, so that means I am old (MSN chats were a thing when I started). I prefer to write with those who are at least 18, although I am more comfortable with writers who are 21+ due to adult themes and content. «♦♦»
«♦♦» I don’t have a set paragraph or word limit when responding. It is what it is. Just please give me more than one line to work with. «♦♦»
«♦♦» I roleplay in 3rd person, past tense only and only roleplay through email because email is the easiest way for me to keep up with roleplays. I can be convinced to try Google Docs, but I have never used it so I may need talking through the etiquette of roleplaying over Docs. I do have Google Hangouts to discuss stuff in if need be as well as Discord. «♦♦»
«♦♦» My main characters are female. I do not require doubling and will not double. I do f/m and f// pairings. For side characters, I play either gender. «♦♦»
«♦♦» I prefer fandom roleplay over an original setting. That said, I have no qualms with taking fandom stuff and doing AU lines. I love it, actually, and am more than happy to pursue an AU version of characters. I will always choose fandom over original when it comes to roleplay, though. «♦♦»
«♦♦» Romance is not required. Let me say that again: romance is not required. I just like weaving stories, and not all stories require a romance plot. But a couple of them will involve romance because I do like romance okay? Also enjoy angst and fluff and all that jazz. «♦♦»
«♦♦» If we have a roleplay going, I’m not looking to replace you. I love you, dear partners. <3 I have room for a partner or two more, though, so that’s why the ad is still up and being bumped. If we had something going and one of us died off and you’re still interested, hit me up again. «♦♦»
«♦♦» I am looking for someone interested in a long-term roleplay (whether the same one or multiple lines) and who enjoys writing as well as plotting. I am also looking for someone who communicates with me: likes, dislikes, if something is causing a stalemate in the roleplay. I like talking to the people I roleplay with, getting to know you, sharing things (music, TV shows, movies, tumblr if that’s your things). Just be open and honest, yeah? «◊♦»
«♦♦» If you are interested, please send me a message on here or shoot an email/hangouts request to written.secrets.within[at]gmail.com and we can talk from there. «♦♦»
Now to the plots.
»"One batch, two batch…“«
This is the highest on my list currently. I am offering up Karen Page for a Frank Castle (or anyone else really from the Netflix MCU shows but mostly give me Frank). ♦♦Misc: This will be as canon-compliant as possible up through the events of The Punisher season 1 for Karen. After that, I am game for diverging from canon and going our own route with Karen and Frank (from here on out referred to as Kastle). I would like some fluff at first, watching Karen and Frank navigate their complicated relationship as Frank works on figuring out his life after. I’m down with bringing in Jigsaw later on and doing our own take on what may happen in season two or even Fisk as well since he poses a problem for Frank and Karen. Or just stick to fluff and happiness with angst and hurt and comfort, of course. I just want to write this and appease my inner Punishing Paralegal OTP desires. I also enjoyed Frank and David’s relationship and bonding, so I am totally okay and down with throwing David at Frank and letting the snark and sass and smartassedry ensue between them. I am also interested in pursuing AU lines with the characters (reversed roles where Karen was the Punisher? Kastle in a universe where there is no Punisher or Daredevil, living separate lives but brought together? Some other AU-crossover thing with some other show? Possibilities are endless here and I am game for all of them). I am Kastle trash, not gonna lie. Gimme gimme gimme. tl;dr: I have Karen, I need Frank. Or anyone else to play Karen against honestly. Let’s do this. Obviously m/f for romance.
  »"And blood tears I cry…"«
This has always been my #1 love fandom-wise, no lie. I’m interesting in pitting my Noldor healer, Nessavendë, against just about anyone she would run in to in her time. She spans from the Light of the Two Trees to the Fourth Age, so there is a lot of wiggle room with her, generally, because Nessa is old but she is also kinda cranky. She would have more dealings with other elves and humans, not so much dwarves or hobbits, so just keep that in mind. ♦♦Misc: Oh yes, this desire is back (c'mon, it never really left). I’m down for playing her against originals and canon characters - both well-known canon and little-known canon. Platonic relationships, friendships, hateships, romantic relationships, bring it all on. Nessa can go m/f for romance or f//. This can run the gamut because of the history that Middle-earth is entrenched in (some good ol’ freezing times in the Helcaraxë, perhaps? Wars? Fights over lands? It’s all there). In the Second and Third Age, Nessa does travel often among the human settlements, so she is flexible in that regard which means she has dealings with not-so-savory characters as well as the normal savory characters. I am also game for AU lines (what ifs, things like what if Fëanor’s sons all didn’t die horrible deaths, etc) and also putting them into a modern setting of some sort. Let’s see what we can come up with for her, hm?
»"I’ll leave it to the memories and kiss the wind goodbye."«
My second Tolkien offering is a little-history-known canon character by the name of Lothíriel. She is the youngest child of Imrahil, Prince of Dol Amroth, and she becomes the Queen of Rohan at the end of the Third Age/beginning of the Fourth Age when she weds Éomer. ♦♦Misc: Well, unlike the previously listed Tolkien desire, this one is a little more limited since her timeline is in the Third Age/War of the Ring era. I am game for playing her against a plethora of characters though - her cousins, her brothers, her future husband, or any original character you might have she would come into contact with which includes her future subjects. Let’s see what we can come up with, shall we? Loth is only m/f for romance plotlines but I am down for all other things including friendships. Same for Nessa, I am interested in putting her into a modern setting as well and working something out.
»What else I may be interested in doing.«
Currently the three above-mentioned characters/plots/what have you are my most strongly desired to roleplay. However, I may be interested in a zombie apocalypse roleplay or Werewolf: The Apocalypse stuff. The top three take priority, though.
