So I had this story idea about Wizard Cookie getting possessed by Shadow Milk Cookie. I have a rough draft for a few chapters of a fic already written out but idk if i'll wind up posting it or not.

Basically, before he was sealed away again, Shadow Milk made one last grab for Pure Vanilla, intent on taking him down with him. However, Wizard shoved him out of the way and got taken instead. Being trapped with the Beast of Deceit led to some pretty bad consequences.

Wizard's soul still exists, however getting it back and getting Shadow Milk Cookie out of his body will NOT be easy.

Guess their economic outlook in this era of gacha saturation’s gotten them very far, especially with the amount of burnout that hit the upper management Cookies here last Cookiemas. This is actually the 3rd Cookie Run 3rd Anniversary that Meringue’s been through. And if you think my count’s off, think again. A theory deemed impossible because of the witnessed events from the Tower of Sweet Chaos, the fact that this skill was teased in the TUTORIAL said otherwise. Her skill does area damage that increases with every buff she has, and ensnares enemies in immobilizing vines with bonus aftereffects and extra damage once dispelled or if the target is immune. Her passive can heal and purify her entire team after getting enough debuffs, although activating the buffs gained with this passive is linked with using her skill.

🌷🏹 Silverbell Cookie - Featured Banner

One of the Faeries of the forest. His skill provides DMG Resist and healing over time that scales with buffs held by his teammates while also providing a DPS/stun debuff on enemies damaged by his skill.

Activates bonus passives when Mercurial Knight Cookie is on the same team.

🧚‍♂️🥄 Mercurial Knight Cookie - Featured Banner (Ends 3/13)

The Commander of the Silver Tree Knights. Gains new powers when using his skill. While his skill is active, he heals extra damage (plus damage relative to Max HP for Cookies) and inflicts Mercury Poisoning with each attack. His Final Strike at the end of his skill deals big damage that increases based on his targets’ stacks of Mercury Poisoning (this is damage relative to Max HP for Cookies).

His passive gives him a stack of Amalgamation every second and whenever he gets a debuff. After gaining 60 stacks, he dispels all his debuffs and enters Mercury Storm mode for temporarily increased ATK, ATK SPD, and Max HP. He can’t gain Amalgamation stacks while Mercury Storm is active.

Activates bonus passives when Silverbell Cookie is on the same team.

The final shot of Link Click's season 2 ending theme feels veeerrry reminiscent of the prop used in the 1960 movie The Time Machine (especially that red seat!) but interestingly enough, the actual plot being animated before us—screenshots below—seems to borrow elements from the 2002 release of The Time Machine, which is quite different from its predecessor.

In the 2002 movie, the main protagonist's motivation for building his time machine actually wasn't in the original story (both movies are based on an H. G. Wells novel published in 1895). Care to take a guess at what that motivation was?

His fiancée was murdered, so he travels back in time to find a way to save her.

While the motivations behind the character in Link Click's ED aren't really clear, it sure does imply that this man's (implied) wife is dead.

Now, if you haven't yet and really really want to see the 20+ year old movie I'm referencing entirely unspoiled, you should probably stop reading here. For everyone else...

In the 2002 movie, the time machine inventor travels back in time over and over again to try and save his wife, but no matter what he does...something always kills her in the end. She was destined to die. Hmm, sound familiar?

These are lines spoken by Lu Guang to Cheng Xiaoshi during the earthquake episode (s1 e5), while Cheng Xiaoshi was still in Chen Xiao's body.

SO. What does the fact that Link Click chose to reference this specific movie and this specific plot point from the movie mean for season 2??? I'm terrified excited to find out—all I know is that the implications here are making me lose my goddamn mind.

(Also the fact that this time machine is only revealed by making the figurines of the couple touch palms which directly mirrors how CXS and LG clap in order to time travel DOn'T tALk tO ME)

Begging theater people to boycott Here Lies Love. It is literally (yes literally) and figuratively whitewashed history presenting half of a conjugal dictatorship as merely a woman to be pitied and not a literal criminal (this isn't some fantasy blorbo either, she's alive and living off the deaths of thousands of Filipinos).
