It's also a call to action for you to go out there and speak your truth! ⠀ ⠀ Let's put this in the context of verbal communication.⠀ ⠀ You may have already experienced a situation where you reaaaally really want to say something, but then you find yourself hesitating to do so.⠀ ⠀ But then it's either do or die: you either say it now or say it never. There's nothing in between when your gut is telling you to speak up NOW.⠀ ⠀ Often times, you might be hesitating because subconsciously, you're looking for a go signal—for permission—for you to speak up. 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?⠀ ⠀ For me, self-education is basically taking full control of what you want to learn AND 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐘 according to what lights you up, exploring what works for you and not limiting yourself to a specific curriculum—not letting your education be put in a box.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ I deliberately put the emphasis on "𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐘" because every knowledge without application is practically useless. 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 of what you learn make the real difference, and self-education helps you do that. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Personally, self-education has changed my mindset and my life for the greater. It is empowering me, and it keeps on expanding my vision, my capabilities, my skills and my horizon with various limitless possibilities.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Self-education helps me evolve and not stagnate nor suffocate.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ In my previous posts, you might have seen some of the books that I have read for my own education—both to acquire specialized knowledge and to implement them in my life. ⠀ ⠀ In my IG stories and those in my highlights are also various tools for self-education that I have been utilizing to help me enhance relevant life skills—skills that could truly help me make an impact and make the world a better place in my own way.
